What had caught my attention when I first visit the site? LIFESTYLE- Pasar Besar Chukai as the main human nodes in the city during the daytime starting from 6am-12noon where everyone comes to meet friends, socializing and stock up their cooking materials.

iconic collage

Citizens in Chukai also prefer more lively spaces where people gahters rather a cozy, proper infrastructure. This phenomenon could be seen when people is not fond to gather at the new MARA building adjacent to our site. They rather re-make their space under shady trees or at the dock. JAWI TEXT ON THE ADVERTISEMENT BOARDSstarting from April 2015, the states government had make it compulsory for advertisement boards to have Jawi translation, which is a rare sight in other states. ANNOTATION OF PARKING LOTS- annotations on the road kerbs are also different from other cities where numbers are annotated on the road surface.

AR518 - Architecture Design Studio 5 What factors threaten coral reefs? Direct threats are generally isolated incidents involving boats, divers and fishermen on the reef. Propellers and anchors can break apart and crush coral, destroying years, if not decades, of coral growth, Indirect threats aren’t always so easy to pinpoint, as they are generally associated with water quality and clarity.
