KL LAPIS CHANGKAT, KUALA LUMPUR
Tengkat Tong Shin the architecture are much appreciated compared to others street. The heritage facade is remained and smaller advertisement boards (a.b.) are used in order not to cover off the facade. Changkat Bukit Bintang Stylish facade are created by having the extensions. Although the main structure are remained, but most of the heritage facade are thoroughly covered. Jalan Alor More conventional architecture with massive advertisement boards which almost screen up the view of the residents living at the first floor.

•Comprises of twenty-two units of 1950’s shoplots, having 12 units handledrenovated by Bikin building design still follows Studio, another 10 handled by Singapore architect which are still under construction the proportion of the original design • previously known as ‘The Asian Heritage Row’.

Balik Pulau means "the other side of the island“The Chinese call it "the island behind the hills". It is bordered by a long coastline on the western side and protected by high hills on three other sides..
Refugees from Thailand and Hakka Chinese from Phuket moves in. From then, rubber estate, agriculture and fishing economy start to grow. Chinese and Tamil labour was brought in to work on the rubber and coconut plantations setup by experienced Chinese plantation owners 1941 onwards

HOW DOES IT RELATE TO THE PART 1? THE CONCRETE STRUCTURE IS REMAINED BEACUSE ONCE CONCRETE IS DISMANTLED, THEY BECOME WASTE, BUT AS FOR TIMBER, THEY COULD BE REUSE
HUMAN ACTIVITIES & OBSERVATION OF SITE Human activities are observed around the site surrounding and the design proposal incoporates the local's interest such as fishing and workout by providing facilities to the locals.
