I Hate, I Love Narrative

I hate when you tell me it’s bath time,

my fur will become all sticky and the water is cold.

I love when you leave me to sleep in your room,

it’s nice and warm.

I hate when the day is hot,

and you wash my carpet and hang it up while the floor is really hot.

I love when the breeze hits the wind chimes,

it soothes me while I sleep.

I hate when you open the door to let the wind in,

it blows the dust in and makes my carpet dirty.

I love when you go out to deliver flowers,

you always come back with food for me.

I hate that,

I didn’t spend much time with you.
