Very well made: even when aged 8 years, it still displays great potential.

ONTARIO, BACO NOIR RESERVE, 2013 COUNTRY: Canada COLOR: red TASTING: It is interesting to taste a wine from one of the most important hybrids in Canada. The reputation of Baco Noir is due to the absence of unpleasant flavors that are often found in other hybrids. A wine rich in black fruits, lively, with medium tannins, ideal for pairing with pasta bolognese.

Red fruits, like wild strawberries, dominate the first nose. The second time, the undergrowth, the soil and the black fruits are revealed. Balanced on the palate. The controlled acidity supports the fruit. Drink immediately or leave in the cellar 5 to 7 years.

COUNTY CABERNET FRANC, PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, 2013 (MAGNUM) COUNTRY: Canada COLOR: red TASTING: One of the best sulfitefree wines tasted recently. The purity of the grape is expressed in notes of black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberries) and others, light, green pepper and eucalyptus. The acidity is reminiscent of the best Loire Cabernet Francs.

Crunchy fruits and notes of graphite are striking on the palate.
