Themuch-anticipatedKegleyRoadofficiallyopenedonMay5th.PhaseIIof thetransportationimprovementsincludedwideningtheprevioustwo-lane roadwayintothree,constructingsidewalksandguardrails,andbuildingan elevatedbridgestructurethatcrossesoverPepperCreek.Theroadwill remainopenuntilPhasesIIIandIVbegininthefall.Bothphaseswillbe constructedtogether,withanestimatedcompletioninWinter2024.Until then,enjoytheroad!

ThisRecyclingCrewof4hasbeenworking hardtomakethemoveintotheirbrightand shinynewfacility.Sincehisstart,Crew LeaderIIMarkHansonhascreatedaplanto bale,load,ship,andselltherecyclingthat hasbeencollectedfromtheCitydrivers.JT, therecycleassistant,hasbeenwiththe divisionsincetheCitytookoverrecycling andhashelpedcollectthematerialsthat thecrewhasworkedsohardtogetcleared outthispastmonth.
Itisn'teasymovingawarehouseand keepingupwiththeregularmaterialsthat comeintothefacilitydaily.Inthefirstyear, FY14,thiswarehouseprocessed2,229tonsof recycling.LastFY,thewarehouseprocessed 12,432tons.Thisteamhasdonea remarkablejobanddeservesthenew, workingequipmentandastate-of-the-art building!ThankyoutoCityleadershipfor thisbrand-newfacility.
