A Path To Top School Placements

entoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they may maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be.” Those are the words of Eric Parsloe, author and mentor. If they resonate with what you and your children aspire to, it might be time to seek a mentorship programme. Parents who recognise their children’s capabilities and have a desire for extra focus, care, and attention to planning a bright future, might turn to professional support. With all the time and energy we spend on educating our children, it can be a daunting task to take them to the next level on their educational paths. If you’re looking for your children to gain entry to leading institutions, there is help out there to guide you on the best approach. The James-Lee Consultancy (JLC) established in 2010, is an Educational Consultancy and an AEGIS-accredited guardianship services provider in the UK, with offices in London and Hong Kong. They have been providing bespoke one-stop solutions to more

than 2,000 families over the past 10 years and they offer a path to getting into top programs such as Oxbridge and other prestigious programs. JLC offers support for school placement into the top UK boarding schools, guardianship services ensuring the safety and well-being of the student, homestay and accommodation placement as well as academic mentoring and private tuition. JLC’s bespoke mentorship program is designed to offer one-to-one weekly interaction with mentors who will help your child focus on their passion projects, learn how to communicate their strengths to an audience, give them tools to build a CV from an early age to strengthen their case for getting into a top program, help prepare for the Oxbridge interview, connecting children with mentors in their field of interest and match the right tutors for them to help them ace their exams.

JLC Academic Mentoring

This elite bespoke service is for ambitious students and provides carefully designed support to ensure each student reaches their true potential. The programmes are specifically designed to meet individual

learning needs and include academic and pastoral support. Mentors set goals with the student from the beginning and monitor them closely on their academic and extra-curricular progress. Mentors can help advise on subject and course selection, arrange work experience and internships as well as organise institution visits and educational trips. They offer regular feedback and progress reports which are sent to parents and can make arrangements for summer programmes, tutoring and additional support if needed. The Lead Education Consultant at JLC, Dr. Karen Li Foster, is a former researching lecturer at Oxford University and University College London. She heads up the mentoring services at JLC and will help design a programme for you and your child. All the JLC mentors have extensive experience in helping students secure places at highly competitive senior schools such as Westminster School and Wycombe Abbey, as well as helping secure places at prestigious world-renowned universities: namely University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and London School of Economics, to name a few.
