HAPPY NEW YEAR Power Mac Center! “My FAITH casts out my fears” “My FAITH casts out my fears” FAITH casts out my fears” For me, there are two attitudes to face New Year – with FEAR or with FAITH. Each New Year carries with it both blessings and trials; possibilities and uncertainties. And though we are confident of our preparation as a company, we know that there will always be surprises along the way. We can never over anticipate things, however we can hope expectantly.
That is why I face each year head on with FAITH rather than with FEAR. Faith is not wishful thinking, or blind belief or something out of desperation.
Faith to be true must have its
object. Who is the object of my faith? GOD. I have a KNOWN GOD for UNKNOWN future. I have faith on our employees.
2018 is another opportunity to grow and achieve things
together. I have faith in our Vision and Mission and Core Values. No one loses with such passion to care for employees, customers, suppliers, partners and supporters by giving them innovative products, personalized services and meaningful experiences. My FAITH casts out my fears.
Happy New Year beloved talents of the company! You are my treasures.

SMILE. This remains our signature this year.
It is with joy that I greet you our dear employees Blessed New
“Identi your HUMBLE GROUND. It is the most place to be.” “Identi yoursolid HUMBLE GROUND. It is the most solid place to be.” “Identi your HUMBLE GROUN Year! And is the most solid place to be.”
congratulations to all our achievements and breakthroughs in 2017. They say when you are winning, to keep the momentum is everything.
But this I say, “if you are
winning, it is everything to be humble. Success and humility for a lot of people are two opposing sides. But for me, the only way to remain successful is to keep a solid ground –a humble ground. To illustrate this, earning certain distinctions and receiving recognitions in the industry does not mean we can now take for granted our customers’ wants and pre-judge their needs. Hitting our target does not mean we can now afford to be lavish on our spending. Promotions do not mean you can now impose on people instead of partnering with them. Success should not give us license to do what pleases us but must give us wisdom to pursue the right things.
Leaders are said to walk ahead and walk beside their people. So I look forward to the opportunities in 2018. And I encourage you to keep the winning momentum by identifying your humble ground. It is the most solid place to be.

MADAM
THE ROAD TO TRANSFORMATION 1.
Look Ahead. When you are driving and you want to get to your destination, you do not look at the road behind and the cars beside you all the time. You get to where you want by focusing on the highway ahead. Living in the past and comparing ourselves to people for me are two sure formulas for defeat.
2. Carry with you the lessons of the Past. We all have our victories and fallings in 2017. And both of them gave us valuable lessons. Carry them with you as you start the new year. 3. Be faithful with the entrustment. Our loved ones, our career, our colleagues, our job and our company. These are all entrusted to us. May we be faithful stewards of all these entrustments. 4. Excel as a teamplayer. Always remember we are not lone rangers in life. We are created for relationships. Be more of a contributor and less as a consumer. Good teamplayers work for what they can give not for what they can get. 5. Strive to be a good person. Have you noticed in the movies, no victories belong to the villains. The good always prevail. We root for good people.
How do you
know if you are good? You look at your heart. Physiologically, the heart refers to the organ that pumps blood but biblically, the heart refers to the “thoughts, motives and will of a person. So how do you know if you are good? How are your thoughts? How are your motives? What are your actions? Transformation and Engagement are not just simply words, or mere campaigns in the company. We are committed to them.

SHARED INSPIRATION
Be Grateful! by John Lester Bautista Waiter - Char Casual Dining
Living a dream or goal everyday is the best thing to do whenever we commit mistakes. Failures don’t define who we are, instead they serve as lessons where we can draw inspiration and motivation from, may it be in life or at work. Year 2017 ended fruitfully for me! I have had the best opportunities and fulfilling responsibilities in my job. A year of maturity, to work harder and accomplish my everyday duties. I believe Char Dining is the field which promotes growth holistically. Superiors are always committed to improve our skills and help us align our energies toward our goals.. This year is another year to embark on even greater heights not just on our own but for all of us who are aiming for success. Starting the year with dedication, presence of mind in our daily jobs, giving importance on the things that need to be done and focusing on our attitude will be our guide in giving our best everyday. Life is about growing and surviving. Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try. Be Grateful!

EMPLOYEE BEING GOALS
New Year…New Goals. Every year we always have a list of things that we will change or we will do, we call it “New Year’s Resolution”. Some of my previous lists would include: To do routine exercise; To eat only good food; To wake up early or to be on time at work. All these are for my physical body or a change in my way of living, but as the months go by I tend to give up on some of them. Last year, God showed me how He is more concerned on my heart than on my physical performance. After all, it’s clear from His words: 1 Samuel 16: 7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." Thus last year, I included a spiritual goal on my list, “To read the entire bible (old & new)". It’s hard but this is the only goal in my list that I was able to finish (by the grace of God and by the help of the Holy Spirit). Being able to read the entire bible doesn’t mean I am now well versed on the content of it, but it makes me closer to my Creator. He makes me understand that as I love and admire His creation I will praise and glorify Him. This year I listed another spiritual goal, “To share His word to others and not be ashamed of it”. I have a yearly tradition in Finance that instead of giving Christmas gifts, I give them welcome gifts on the first day of work after the holidays. Last January 2, I gave each one a book. Those books are Inspirational Christian books that everybody can relate to and very helpful in our everyday life. Some of the book titles are: Real Men Are Pogi - How to be Handsome in God’s eyes para maging ready for your God’s best. The Servant Leader - Transforming your heart, head, hands and habits. Paano Maging Joyfully Single? Connected Ka Ba? - How to pray kahit lo-batt ka na. The 10 Commandments for Choosing God’s Best I know I cannot ask each one of them to read the entire bible but I’m hoping that those books will help begin their curiosity on the word of God. Another successful year has passed and we are expecting that 2018 will be a year of growth for the Supervisors Circle. Supervisors Circle is one with the company in transforming this 2018. When I was informed today that I will be sharing in PMC Connect, I remember what I’ve read on my friend’s Facebook comment earlier because it inspired
“significant tangibles at work namely honesty, credibility and passion to work must always be on top of intelligence and compassion”. With this, I would like me as it says that
