Welcome
Welcome... Dear Princess Owner/Enthusiast,
Welcome to the 3rd edition of MY Princess the official newsletter for Princess Motor Yacht Sales and her dealer partners around Europe and the Mediterranean. I can now reflect on over 12 months in the luxury motor yacht industry and confess to being totally addicted! 2012 -13 continues to deliver improved sales performance over 201011 for Princess Motor Yacht Sales and speaking to many customers with varied successful businesses, the opinion that the worst economic background is now firmly behind us and the future is challenging but not without opportunities, would be a fair representation. Certainly we can say it remains a great time to get excited about motor yachting whether using your yacht more, or considering a change, Princess and Princess Motor Yacht Sales have never had so much to offer. As a management team we are continuing to tune what Princess Motor Yacht Sales offers into the requirements of our customers. Princess Approved pre owned yachts are now available, having launched at London Boat Show, and are reshaping how the industry sells on customer vessels exchanged against new. Offering the same levels of peace of mind to their next owner as a new yacht they are proving a very popular way to own a first Princess or to move up the range at a really great value proposition. If you would like to learn more come and visit us at our newly refurbished Swanwick marina sales office on the 19-21 April for the 2013 Princess Approved event where an additional, 1 years guarantee, free of charge, is available on all yachts purchased over the weekend. We are all very excited to update you on the new V48 sports cruiser with IPS drives that will be with us soon, available with both closed and open cockpit designs, as our partners at the shipyard continue to move towards placing the custom in semi-custom luxury yacht manufacture. The new V48 world premiere will be held at Swanwick marina from the 17-19 May. Also featuring will be a fabulous selection of sister craft displaying the very latest Princess has to offer.
In another exciting development Princess Motor Yacht Sales has partnered with Fairline Southampton and Sunseeker London to create ‘The British Motor Yacht Show’ at this event you will see Princess line up confidently against several new craft during the same period of 17-19 May at Swanwick marina. This ‘Best of British’ event is all new for 2013 but has been so well received thus far we can all see a bright future, don’t miss it! Motor yachting and the enthusiasm for this most liberating of pursuits displayed by our customers is the lifeblood of our business and provides all the reward we need to stay motivated as we strive to deliver the experiences you all seek whilst minimising the obstacles. At Princess Motor Yacht Sales we believe the future is in delivering a ‘turnkey’ yachting experience to our customers and many of the initiatives established these last 12 months or so take us in that direction such as Platinum Service bespoke owner’s services, and Princess Approved pre owned yachts. We are now working on ownership packages including; finance with guaranteed future values that include service, maintenance and guardiennage. Also on the anvil are; Princess Insurance, and shared ownership. All designed to broaden the appeal of motor yachting and ensure our owners have the best possible, tailor made, yachting lifestyles available in the world. The next edition of My Princess is scheduled for September 1st and we will be talking more about the world premiere of the new 88 Motor Yacht and Southampton Boat Show. There is much to talk about now so do contact us in preparation for your requirements large or small ahead of the 2013 European yachting season. Yours sincerely, Colin Capewell Managing Director Princess Motor Yacht Sales 3

FIRST GLANCE - PRINCESS V48
Coming soon... the stunning new
We are delighted to share with you a first look at the new Princess V48. Sleek, dynamic and exceptionally spacious, the V48 is a highly versatile sports yacht delivering excitement and comfort in equal measure. There will be two versions of this exciting new sports yacht with the deck saloon version launching in the spring and an open cockpit version launching in the summer. An enclosed main deck saloon provides a wonderful escape from the heat of the day yet for true ‘open boating’ this can be swiftly transformed via a large powered roof and triple sliding doors that connect to the aft cockpit to create one large alfresco area. Below decks the lower saloon provides a more intimate haven in which to relax and is ideally located adjacent to the galley which has 6

Two large en-suite cabins provide sumptuous accommodation with a vast and exceptionally light owner’s stateroom amidships and a forward guest cabin with the option of a ‘scissor berth’ system to create a double or twin beds as required. PRESS REVIEW TRIUMPH
Another successful evening for Princess at the
BOAT OF THE YEAR AWARDS Princess enjoyed yet another successful evening at the annual IPC Marine Media’s Motor Boat of the Year Awards where the Princess V39, which has received high praise from the worlds boating media since her launch last year, picked up the coveted title of ‘Motor Boat of the Year’ for Sportscruisers up to 45ft. This latest award demonstrates how Princess are continuing to lead the way in the competitive performance motor yacht sector with the Princess V52, V62 and V45 V Class sports yachts having all claimed the title of best sportscruiser in previous years. Princess Managing Director Chris Gates was delighted with the accolade. “We knew even before we launched her at London last year that
the V39 was going to be another highly successful model for us, stunning looks, breathtaking performance and incredible volume make her a highly desirable craft but her level of specification and exceptional value for money make her a very special boat indeed. We’re delighted this was also the opinion of the judges in what was an extremely competitive category”.
to plane and highly efficient cruising speeds. Her interior is incredibly light and spacious and, as with every Princess, she is finished with the finest materials, craftsmanship and detailing throughout providing the feeling of a much larger craft.
The V39’s award winning performance has been achieved by using the latest resin infusion technology to produce the hull and decks to reduce weight, increase torsional strength and improve efficiency. This coupled with a unique hull design and powerful Volvo D6-330 engines ensures the new V39 is both exhilarating and economical with quick transition

New office redevelopment - Swanwick
SUPERYACHT OSCAR FOR IMPERIAL PRINCESS? Each May, the superyacht industry’s elite gather for the glamorous World Superyacht Awards, which honour the finest new superyacht builds delivered to their owners in the past twelve months. This year, Princess Yachts will join the prestigious list of finalists with the very first 40 metre yacht built by the British yard – Imperial Princess
The Princess 40M has reached the coveted finalist list for the 2013 Superyacht Awards.
For Princess to have been selected as a finalist with what is their first ‘superyacht’ build is an incredible
achievement but then again, Imperial Princess is an incredible yacht. In an exclusive review Boat International recently commented “If Imperial Princess is a measure of what Princess is capable of building, there will no doubt be many more owners, enjoying this little ship for exactly what she is – the chance to enjoy cruising in a yacht built to a standard that would put many more expensive yards to shame”.
New office redevelopment at Princess Swanwick The World’s largest distributor of luxury Princess motor yachts has redeveloped its current office in Swanwick Marina, Southampton earlier this year. A bright, clean lined showroom now welcomes clients. The new office features a customer presentation suite along with a classically designed boardroom with elegant branded furniture, where clients can select and compare specification finishes in comfort and privacy when buying and choosing their new Princess. Princess Motor Yacht Sales at Swanwick continues to thrive under the guidance of Roger Lipman, Sales Director. Roger has run the operation since the early 1990’s and has proudly seen the importance of this office increase over the years. From the original one man sales office in the old Moody’s office block to this now elegant office on the waterfront at Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble near Southampton.
The team in Swanwick is able to deal with all aspects of trading new or used Princess craft and offers the complete buying or selling process as well as a complete aftersales package. The aftersales team has also moved in to a different location nearby the sales office offering an increased working space for both the customer service and warranty teams in order to further improve and expand this area of the business. Swanwick Marina remains one of the best placed Marinas in the UK with its easy access from land (5 minutes from the M27 Motorway), sea (20 minutes from the open sea
with 24 hour unrestricted access) and air (10 minutes from Southampton International Airport). For several years now, it has been part of the Premier Marinas group. Situated on the eastern bank of the River Hamble this prestigious marina has an impressive range of facilities with berths for 300 boats and a fully serviced boatyard. A sheltered haven, perfect for yachts and motorboats alike, Swanwick Marina is one of the River Hamble’s best kept secrets. Princess Motor Yacht Sales looks forward to remaining at the forefront of this prestigious and famous location. 9
Insiders’ guide to Dartmouth and Salcombe
Dartmouth and Salcombe:
Jewels of the South West Safe harbours, a choice of moorings and an array of traditional pubs – these quintessentially English towns are the epitome of West Country cruising.
You have to go a long way to find a town as pretty as Dartmouth. Overlooking one of the finest natural harbours in the UK, Dartmouth has a strong maritime heritage and is packed with events and things to do throughout the year, from sailing to arts and cultural festivals. Lying in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Dartmouth is a real yachting centre for the South-West.
History With a long tradition of strategic importance for sailing ships, Dartmouth was the sailing point for the Crusades and has a long association with the Royal Navy. The historic town of Dartmouth is home to the Royal Naval College Britannia, the Officer school for the Navy where HRH Prince Philip, HRH Prince Charles and HRH Prince Andrew were trained. Dartmouth offers a host of attractions to make your stop-over worth a couple of days. Within the town there are quaint narrow streets, specialist shops, a host of excellent
10
restaurants and good walks to the castle. Going further afield, there is a steam railway and boat trips up the river Dart to the historic town of Totnes or to Agatha Christie’s recently restored home on the banks of the river.
Things to do As one of the West Country’s best sailing ports, Dartmouth has a great range of facilities if you’re a water sports enthusiast. Sailing fans will love the Dartmouth Regatta - a spectacular weeklong celebration of the town’s maritime links taking place in August. But you don’t have to have saltwater in your veins to enjoy Dartmouth. The town has many events geared around the arts, with a diverse range of exhibitions in the many galleries.
Food and drink From bistros to a 100-year-old barge, from the bustle of the waterside to fine dining and traditional pub grub, there’s a
huge variety of food and drink outlets in Dartmouth for you to choose from, all supplied the best top chefs in the UK. Try the Devon fresh crab – a Dartmouth speciality.
Moorings Dart Harbour has approximately 1,400 permanent moorings and 200 visitors’ moorings and has a limited number of swinging, trot moorings and pontoon berths available for long-term hire. There are also some running moorings and mud berth moorings available. For further information, please contact www.dartharbour.org
The approaches Arriving and entering the River Dart is fairly straightforward as long you give the well-marked Mewstone a safe distance. It is then just a matter of leaving the Castle Ledge green buoy to starboard and the red Homestone and Checkstone red buoys to port.
Insiders’ guide to Dartmouth and Salcombe
After passing between Kingswear and Dartmouth castles, keep to the starboard side of the river while sticking to the 6-knot speed limit. During summer weekends, the entrance can get quite busy and you need to let both the lower and higher car ferries have the right of way and give them plenty of space. .............................................................................. Sailing south west from Dartmouth is Salcombe. The river views are spectacular. If you love messing about on the water, you’ll love this charming harbour. With mild weather throughout the year, Salcombe is a popular destination thanks to its waterside location, West Country character and stunning natural environment. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you can stay in some great accommodation in the area, with excellent restaurants and bars in which to sample the local cuisine. Salcombe is a vibrant, busy little town that still manages to retain that unique Devon charm.
History Salcombe’s history is intrinsically linked with the sea. Until about 100 years ago the people of Salcombe earned their living from the estuary and the sea. Fishing, seafaring, boat and later shipbuilding were the main occupations, but smuggling and even piracy meant that settlements were not built at the water’s edge but further inland. Today, Salcombe is still a thriving harbour, but without the pirates.
Things to do A network of ferries operates in and around Salcombe, giving you easy access to a selection of local beaches
that would otherwise be difficult to get to. East Portlemouth beach includes some picturesque coves and fine soft sand. Bathing conditions here are ideal and the beach is home to a range of water sports. If you fancy trying your hand at sailing there are local schools where you can learn the ropes, and a popular regatta is held here annually.
Food and drink Head to Fore Street for the best range of Salcombe’s cuisine. Restaurants and bars line the street and serve the best in Devon produce, fresh fish and local meats. Devon is well known for its ale, and Salcombe pubs offer a good selection of locally made beer, as well as a friendly atmosphere in comfortable maritime surroundings.
The approaches Approaching Salcombe Harbour from the West involves passing Bolt Head at a good distance to avoid Little Mew Stone and Mewstone, both conspicuous and standing 5 m and 19 m respectively. The entrance to the harbour will start revealing itself. In lumpy weather especially with an ebbing tide it is wise to give Bolt Head a wide berth. From the East once past Prawle Point the best plan is to keep about five cables off the coast, and then swing over to the West in the region of Starehole Bay, while trying to identify the leading marks, and turning onto a northerly heading when they have been identified.
Moorings There is no Marina and little alongside berthing in Salcombe, and the options are either to lay to your own anchor, or take a harbour authority mooring. Please contact Salcombe Harbour for more detailed information 01548 843791
For further information on sales and service in this area, please contact Richard Clarke at the Plymouth sales office on +44 (0)1752 600657 or email plymouth@princess.co.uk 11
CUSTOMER INTERVIEW
MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE Yacht Owners Steve and Susanne Ingarfill met Richard Clarke, Princess Motor Yacht Sales’ Executive at the Plymouth sales office, back in 2005. They have agreed to take part in our interview and reveal their truly unique experience of being Princess owners, so how did they make their choice? Is this your first Princess? No, we have had a Princess 45 flybridge since 2005 which we were able to buy new. We also had 3 new Sealine boats before (33, 37, 42.5) moving up to Princess was a big step in quality and the sea keeping was so much better, we always felt safe in our Princess 45. How long have you been a Princess owner? We have been Princess owners since 2005 and we wanted to upgrade for some time, but I am afraid the price to change was running away from us, we had put our boat on the market to see what could be done. Why choose the Princess 54 flybridge? We saw the Princess 54 at the London Boat show back in 2006 and never thought we could be in the market for such an impressive boat. I read the reviews in the magazines and have spoken to owners of Princess 50 and 54’s on our boating trips who spoke highly of both the boats. So when Richard Clarke, the Sales Executive based at the Plymouth office, put a deal on the table for a Princess 54 we had to decide if we would keep our 45 or stretch and buy the 54. 14
What other boats did you consider when researching your latest purchase? We had a good look at what was on the market at the Southampton Boat show, in fact we also looked at moving to sail, there were a few deals we did look at from different manufacturers both power and sail but the possibility of owning a Princess 54 was what we really wanted. What features of your new boat do you particularly like? We really liked the full beam master cabin and the high level dining table; we knew the sea keeping of the 54 flybridge would be better which gives us more options when required. Please comment on the buying process from your first enquiry to handover of your new Princess. The buying process was fairly simple for us as Richard did most of the leg work making the experience not too stressful for us. Filling in some of the paper work took some time and the mortgage paper work seems to be a lot more in depth than before. The experience of seeing the 54 and then the sea trial made all the effort worthwhile.
Where do you keep the boat? We did keep our 45 in Brixham marina. We were there for some 13 years with different boats, so when we got the 54 we decided on a change and now have a berth in Sutton Harbour Plymouth, new boat and new cruising grounds… Has the boat lived up to your expectations? We have only had the boat for a month now so we are still putting our stamp on things, but so far we are very pleased with her and I am sure she will live up to our expectations. Has the after sales service lived up to your expectations? Yes, with our Princess 45 the Plymouth aftersales team and in particular Paul Bailey and Sam Penhallurick were exceptional, especially when you compare the experiences we had with our other boats. Have you ventured further with your new boat and discovered new cruising grounds? No, not yet but we are planning some good passages this coming season to make full use of all the features, but if the sea trial is anything to go on (Northerly Force 7 in Plymouth Sound) we can cruise with confidence.
CUSTOMER INTERVIEW
Can you discuss one of your latest expeditions? Last year with our 45 we left Brixham for Guernsey then on to Jersey on down to St Cast in France then over to our favourite, Binic, from there to Paimpol, where the weather was going to get up so instead of moving on to Lezardrieux we went back to Guernsey. It was a fantastic trip and Guernsey is such a beautiful area – little coves, beautiful countryside really picturesque! A few years ago we were away on our Princess 45 celebrating our 25th
KEEP IN TOUCH!
Wedding Anniversary, we dressed the boat and drank lots of Champagne, and we had a great time! As well as the company, enjoyment often comes down to the comfort of your boat and the space available makes the boat even more perfect for entertaining.
How do running costs compare to your last boat? Too soon to say yet but I am expecting an increase but the pleasure the new boat will give us out ways the cost.
What other expeditions do you have planned? So this season we may well do a similar thing or we would love to go to Cherbourg move East along the French Coast to Fecamp and cross back to Brighton and then move West back to Plymouth.
Why not share your thoughts, stories and experiences with us? We would love to hear from you. Email your feature ideas to marketing@princess.co.uk
and the best selected story will be published in our next edition in September 2013. The lucky winner will receive a case of 6 bottles of champagne with our compliments.

PRINCESS OPENS NEW OFFICE IN PORT ADRIANO, MALLORCA
Princess Motor Yacht Sales will soon be opening their new state-of-the-art office in Port Adriano. Headed by Oliver Lehnen and his multi lingual team, the office will allow the Princess team in Mallorca to better serve its clientele while providing a prestigious office environment in a strategic location. This innovative concept of Philippe Starck is expressed not only in the marina’s aesthetics, but in an authentic improvement in comfort for users: berths and shopping area with parking places in the shade, absence of traffic in front of the boats and shops, concealed cabling freeing up space on the piers, 24m2 of storage space in front of the berths, warm lighting, terraces in the sun and shade, an esplanade for events… Lovers of sailing will find at Port Adriano everything they need to enjoy their passion. Port Adriano is a marina for boats between 6 and 80 metres long, located at the South-west of the Bay of Palma de Mallorca, capital of the Balearic Islands. It falls within the Calvià town boundary, 9 km from the city of Palma.
They can anchor one day in the Toro area, some 2 miles away, sail round Mallorca in 4 or 5 days or discover other islands, like Ibiza, Formentera and Menorca. Another very special trip is a night in the Cabrera National Park combined with immersion organised by our diving centre.” Mallorca is an ideal place for owners to enjoy their boats. At the same time, crews have everything they need for living all year round: an international airport, golf courses, hospitals, international schools, without forgetting that the climate means the season starts in March and finishes in November.
There is no doubt that this is the most modern and best equipped marina on the Mediterranean and Port Adriano is sure to be Mallorca’s new hotspot which will attract many new clients internationally. Whilst the office will be open in early April the opening gala night will be held on Saturday 4th May 2013 during the Palma Boat Show. Contact us for your invitation.
As it is located in an archipelago, the marina offers a great many opportunities for sailing.

Princess Motor Yachts at Scotland’s Boat Show, Kip Marina Kip Marina was the place to be for anyone interested in messing about on the water as Scotland’s Boat Show 2012 took to the sea and shore over the weekend of 12th to 14th October. Celebrating its 26th year, Scotland’s Boat Show was the biggest ever with over 100 boats for sale and experienced one of the highest attendances ever, recording good sales activity and bright future prospects. It was deemed the “best ever” show by exhibitors and general public alike and proved that Inverclyde’s biggest annual event had truly come of age and firmly established itself as the largest show in Scotland and the third major boat show in the UK! Key Yachting Ltd. Scotland, the exclusive dealer for Princess Yachts, had an exceptional show and presence during this busy event. They had an excellent display of pre-owned Princess models which were very well viewed and received.
“Scotland represents a real treat for those who choose to explore this destination by boat.” says Peter Cameron, Sales Director of Key Yachting Scotland. “With centuries of heritage defining its Celtic culture and a backdrop of stunning scenery, Scotland has so much to offer the yacht owner. We are looking forward to next years’ show due to take place between 11th and 13th October 2013, where we hope to have an even more impressive Princess Motor Yachts presence to steal the show”.

Port Solent Marina
Port Solent Marina With 24-hour easy access to the Solent, luxury berth holder facilities and endless entertainment, Port Solent Marina is arguably the best marina on the south coast… Set against the vibrant and lively backdrop of The Boardwalk’s kaleidoscope of bars, restaurants and unique shopping outlets sits Port Solent Marina; a modern and family friendly marina offering luxury facilities and the perfect start point from which to experience the delights of the Solent. Easily accessible from the sea, Port Solent is a locked marina located in the sheltered waters of the northern reaches of historic Portsmouth Harbour. The marina is also conveniently reached by road and is just minutes away from the M27, the M3 and the A3 making for great connections along the South Coast, to London and The Midlands. Boating is also made easy at Port Solent with 24-hour easy access to the Solent’s waters with its fantastic cruising grounds that attract both sail and powerboat owners. From Port Solent, you can easily explore Chichester Harbour’s natural beauty as
well as sample the pleasures of famous yacht havens on the Isle of Wight or further afield to Premier’s Swanwick Marina on the Hamble, Beaulieu, Lymington or Poole. Back on dry land, Port Solent is a popular location for fine dining or a quick bite to eat with a variety of cafés and restaurants to tempt you from English cuisine, to Italian comfort food, hot and spicy Mexican, to the mouth-watering tastes of the Orient. After boating, there’s a chance to relax and enjoy The Boardwalk’s fascinating waterside experience; if you love to shop, you’ll love Above the Blue, Hampshire’s best contemporary art gallery. The marina is also great for stocking up on outdoor kit with Snow and Rock and Britain’s biggest chandlery, Marine Superstore onsite. There’s also a multiplex cinema and a David Lloyd Health and Fitness Club close by, but if you’d like to stretch your legs, 12th century Portchester Castle is a short stroll away.
Port Solent’s sheltered waters also make the marina an ideal place in which to carry out repairs or winter your boat. Aside from a fully serviced boatyard that includes a 40-ton hoist, the marina offers a comprehensive suite of repair services, from electronic to full GRP repairs, rigging to engineering. Add unlimited storage ashore, 24-hour manned security, a handy fuel berth, dedicated berth holder car parks, a children’s play area and Port Solent makes for the perfect destination for a weekend escape or to permanently berth your boat. As one of the UK’s leading marinas, Port Solent offers extensive shoreside facilities, including first-class showers and toilets. You’ll also enjoy great customer service from an enthusiastic and professional team headed by Andy Osman. It’s therefore not surprising that Port Solent Marina, which is owned and operated by Premier Marinas, has been awarded the Yacht Harbour Association’s highest accolade of ‘Five Gold Anchors’. PRINCESS YACHT CHARTER
Princess Yacht Charter The Princess Yacht Charter team offers you their Princess charter experience and advice, tailored itineraries and complete privacy. They focus their attention and imagination to each and every detail to create an unforgettable charter experience.
For many owners the ability to bring in significant income to offset ownership costs is a reality. Princess Yacht Charter can assist you in promoting your yacht by utilising her established marketing channels allowing increased cost efficiency in ownership. The lifestyle rewards of owning your own yacht will 24
always be worth far more than the financial return, but that doesn’t mean that owning a yacht can’t bring in any financial benefits. A successful charter yacht can turn a lifestyle investment into a way to generate revenue when the yacht is not being used.
Princess Yacht Charter will maximise the demand for the yacht in question by creating a specific branding which reflects the quality features and the professionalism of the crew, to fully exploit the potential by developing a marketing plan specific to each vessel. This plan may include a printed

at your service!
high quality brochure, a bespoke website, showcasing the vessel in the most prominent and high quality of publications, directories and databases.
We also of course attend the annual charter industry events in Antigua and Genoa promoting our latest fleet. Even if charter is not in your initial plan, why not keep it in mind as designing a yacht that
is appealing to the charter market can bolster residual values. The yacht should ultimately be seen as an investment protection project.

PRINCESS YACHT CHARTER
Mediterranean Yacht Charter Mediterranean yacht charter provides coastal access to several countries and cultures. The best time of year for yacht chartering in the Med is from April to October. Explore CORSICA & SARDINIA: two of the quintessential Mediterranean cruising itineraries.
Discover the deep blue waters of Corsica’s wide bays, rugged mountainous backdrops and picture postcard ports. Then move on to the manicured luxury of Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, with its stunning cruising grounds, and PortoCervo’s designer shopping and nightlife. Sardinia is Italian and bedazzles with luxury shopping and high-class restaurants. Corsica is French with rugged landscapes and medieval towns. A wild and mountainous place, Corsica’s coastline is rugged and uncrowded with rocky coves, white sand beaches and ancient, fortified villages. The old town of Bonifacio perches on the edge of towering, limestone cliffs, unbeatable for sheer natural beauty.
Known for its lushness and the fact that it is so untouched by development, this is a place for those seeking the Mediterranean as it used to be; part of the coastline is nominated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ranking it alongside the Great Barrier Reef and the Galapagos Islands as a nature reserve of global importance. Least forgetting Bonifacio which brims with vibrancy from the harbour up and is one of the most spectacular natural harbours in the world not to be missed with the most spectacular views of Sardinia. In contrast Sardinia boasts designer boutiques from Armani to Versace, with yachts gravitating to the Costa Smeralda in the north-east, with Porto Cervo at the centre of any visit. Cafes on the main square are perfect

for people-watching before such culinary delights at Cipriani or Madai Ristorante. Along the northeast coast of Sardinia Tavolara Island offers one of the most amazing landscapes, flora and fauna as the island and the surrounding waters are part of the Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Preserve. Chia and the east coast coves south of the small scale resort of Cala Gonone offer the best beaches in Sardinia. The village of Chia itself is set back from the sea with pristine white sandy beaches surrounded by turquoise waters, while just inland the Spartivento and Chia lagoons are significant and vital flamingo breeding grounds.

TESTIMONIAL
CONFIDENCE AND SUPPORT Princess owner praises ongoing Princess customer commitment. Princess Motor Yacht Sales is proud to include this testimonial letter from one of our yacht owners who just took delivery of his brand new Princess 78 Motor Yacht. “Just wanted to say a personal thank you for your efforts in demonstrating, preparing, and delivering my new Princess 78 Motor Yacht. Following the delivery trip from Istanbul, I had over a week in which to familiarise myself with the boat. In terms of performance and comfort she exceeded my expectations by some margin. “I was especially pleased to find that the snag list was the shortest I have
ever experienced on a new boat, and virtually all of the minor items which did appear only did so after some hours of use, meaning that your pre delivery inspection must have been very thorough. This helps enormously, because an owner finds familiarisation of a new boat a fairly daunting prospect, and it was really good not to be distracted by other issues.
“I am grateful for you taking the time to join me for the delivery trip from Istanbul - it is a great comfort to have someone on board who knows how things work! “Again many thanks for your efforts and I would be grateful if you would pass on my appreciation to all members of your team, for their help in ensuring this new boat delivery was as smooth as it was”.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales opens new territories in Spain Princess Motor Yacht Sales introduce Princess Yachts Alicante to distribute the sale of Princess motor yachts in the Costa Blanca. Founded in 1987, Princess Yachts Alicante trading as Nautica Mengual, is one of the strongest companies within the Spanish marine business, based in the Costa Blanca. They have always offered high quality products accompanied by the best service and advice. For the last 25 years, it has been growing its infrastructure, personnel, training and experience but likes to maintain a philosophy of a company who does not intend to grow, but mainly focus on improving and overcoming its service to its clientele. It is perhaps this mixture of passion,
honesty and respect for the work, which characterizes this company, a technical team composed of six technicians and a service manager. “All trained to the highest standards, we have no doubt that our clients will be treated with an outstanding service, just like our brand Princess requires”, enthused Gonzalo Mengual, Managing Director of the company. Max Whale, Marketing Director, Princess Motor Yacht Sales comments, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Princess Yachts Alicante to increase the sales volume and service quality for Princess yachts
in Spain. The experience that they have within their territory is unsurpassed so we are excited our clients can be cared for in yet another wonderful cruising ground.” For further information, please contact Princess Yachts Alicante Tel: +34 96 574 12 11 E-mail: alicante@princess.eu.com www.nauticamengual.com
