Season 2021 Around fifty tournaments over seven months of NON-STOP POLO The official opening of the Club is scheduled the 3rd and 4th April, with the Rallye d‘Aumale followed by four weeks of tournaments. In May and June, the 10/12 goals season will start up again with the Spring Triple Crown and the Polo Rider Cup which will offer us four tournaments, an eight-week international and competitive event with along side 6/8 or 4/6 medium goals tournaments as well as 0/4 or 0/2 low goals tournaments. The summer season in July is marked by tournaments accessible to all, summer camps for children and international exchanges.
The first three weeks of September are the European top-level gathering with the French Opens accompanied by two other very competitive medium and low goals tournaments. Finally, the five-week back-season ends with the French Championships and the Autumn tournaments. Pink Hermès Birkin sells for just under £20,000 at UK auction
Pink Hermès Birkin handbag sold through Fellows auction house. Founded in Birmingham in 1876, Fellows are a family-run firm of auctioneers and valuers. They hold weekly sales with specialist watch and jewellery auctions becoming increasingly popular. A magnificent pre-loved bright pink Hermès Birkin handbag has just sold for a whopping £19,778.00 (including fees) at a UK auction. The designer accessory is a 2015 design, and it is believed to take 48 hours for an artisian to craft one single Hermès Birkin handbag. The Porosus Crocodile bag sold in a timed auction of designer accessories at Fellows Auctioneers, who have offices in Birmingham and London.
With an estimate of £14,000 – £20,000, the item received a total of six bids in the tens of thousands as it was the highlight lot in the sale. This is one of the most expensive handbags that the 145-year-old company has ever sold, further emphasising that Hermès Birkin bags are some of the most illustrious and desirable items in the world of fashion. The idea to create the luxury leather bags was discussed in 1984 during a flight from Paris to London with British actress Jane Birkin and then Executive Chairman of Hermès, Jean-Louis Dumas. www.fellows.co.uk
After the contents of her travel bag spilled on the deck on the flight, Jane Birkin wished to have a suitable bag for a mother whilst travelling. Shortly after Jean-Louis Dumas took inspiration and created the worldrenowned designer accessory. Each exceptional Hermès bag post-1945 contains a date stamp so that their age can be determined.
Abigail Moses, from the Designer Collection at Fellows Auctioneers, said:
“We are thrilled to have achieved such a good price for this outstanding Hermès Birkin bag, included in our Designer Collection sale which attracted bidders from around the world.
The fluorescent pink bag sold at Fellows was crafted from luxurious polished fuchsia pink crocodile skin with gold-tone hardware accents. The item features rigid looping handles, a top flap and a cross-over strap closure with the maker’s signature turn-lock fastening. There is also a lightly grained pink leather lined interior with two side pockets and four protective base studs. Measuring 20 by 30 by 40cms, included with the purchase was a maker’s rain cover, a dust bag and a carry bag. It featured as Lot 186 in the Designer Collection sale, a timed auction which closed on Monday 7th June and showcased over 400 lots of accessories from a variety of luxury brands. Fellows offered free delivery on the purchase of the bag.

It’s serums that really treat and change your skin; but high-end luxury masks will often give you as close as you’re going to get without being there, the immediate results of a top tier facial; especially if you add in some DIY facial massage too. It’s a mask that will rescue your skin from disaster before a special event, or that will give you instant enviable plump and glow before an important date. Which masks should you use, however? This is the thinnest and most delicate sheet mask I’ve seen, so you’ll need to take extreme care removing it from the packet. These two-step mask treatments deliver an intensive dose of skin reparative collagen. They hydrate and plump the skin, diminishing the look of lines, to give your skin a more youthful appearance. They also tighten and firm the skin over time with its dermo-tensor collagen and collagen amino acids. If you want to really kick start your anti-ageing skincare routine, this is the uber luxe option to go for.

Guerlain Honey is one of skincare’s most glorious ingredients and it’s not celebrated enough. This Black Bee honey is rich in amino acids and really aids the skin tissue repair process. The masks are also infused with Royal Jelly – a precious substance from the beehive. Vittoria Ferragamo: “Il Borro all started from a vision, a dream and the deep passion my father has for this place. Going back almost 30 years I remember as a young girl my father’s eyes lighting up telling me all about this land, the medieval village and its history. He always saw an enormous potential as a producing farm and Relais as he was too enchanted by the quietness and the feeling time had stopped of this place. One step at a time, continuously stimulated by our work here we have taken on more and more projects.”
Can guests come all year around to visit you? Vittoria Ferragamo: “The Relais is generally closed from mid November to mid December and from mid January to mid March. We however try and be very flexible evaluating every request singularly. Day visits are always very welcome to the best of our ability (all year round).”

You manage also Orto del Borro, can you tell us a bit about that and how came the idea for the organic garden? Vittoria Ferragamo: “The idea to enlarge and distribute our vegetables came mainly from my father although we were all immediately accomplices. Before Orto del Borro there was a smaller family orto of which we all very much appreciated the produce in fact so much we were immediately enthused by my father's idea. We compose a weekly wooden basket with 5/6 different fresh vegetables from the garden and 6 of our free range eggs.
It can be easily ordered on line or not and is delivered directly to the clients door with any extra Il Borro product desired. Everything is certified organic with a biodynamic approach.
We have recently launched a line of pastas, flours, seeds and puffs made with our own ancient grains. This allows us to offer a good balance between fresh and packaged foods all of the highest quality from Il Borro .Our clients like to be weekly surprised with a good variety of vegetables that gives them the opportunity to discover new tastes and our always new recipes. At the moment we are delivering to Florence, Arezzo, Siena and surrounding areas. Our goal is to promote and value the genuine, true and authentic flavors of our land.”
Can you tell us a bit about your wine at Il Borro? Salvatore Ferragamo: “Il Borro wines are produced in unique pedo climatic conditions in tuscany. Il Borro lies at the foothill of the apennine where the mountains meet the Valdarno valley. This provides for a unique terroir that ranges from dry rocky mountain soil to gravel to sand and compact clay types of soil. In these soils we plant the best vines in order to provide them with the best growing conditions to produce the best grapes for our wines, ranging from Sangiovese, Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot.

We know you are also a great horse lover, did you ever tried polo or have been to a polo match? Vittoria Ferragamo: “I’ve very much enjoyed watching my brother Salvatore and cousin Ginevra Visconti Bassetti in professional Polo matches and have played very informally at Il Borro from time to time with my family. My horse passion as a 4 year old child veered however towards show jumping leaving very little room for anything else. At Il Borro I follow the horse activities where we organize many different customized experiences from hacks with outdoor picnics and wine tastings to simple school riding lessons. Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you start your career?
How came the idea to start the YouTube channel Marobrothers and present one of the best properties on the market?
Both my brother and I started selling Real Estate a decade ago! We wanted to assist buyers in making their dream of owning a holiday home in Marbella possible. The drive for that came from living here over 20 years and knowing that there is no better place to be.
When the lockdown happened in Spain (around March 2019), we still had many interested buyers who wanted to invest but couldn't travel. So we started to tour properties virtually for them. One client once said that the videos are amazing and that we should post them online.

Do you have a favorite of all the properties you have shown?
Are there any architects and interior designers that you appreciate a lot?
Our favorite one was the Castle by Ronda. The history the property has and the uniqueness just blew our minds.
We recently filmed a home created by Joaquin Torres, a star architect from Spain. That house was epic and brought us over half a million views within days.
How do you see the real estate market right know? Marbella is booming as many clients are trying to preserve their capital and invest into something physical. Furthermore, after the whole lockdown situation the working dynamics changed and many clients now work from home. A home under the sun in the south of Spain fits perfectly Into the new working dynamics.
