n Saturday 20 March, thousands of polo fans swarmed to Auckland’s most iconic venue, The Auckland Domain to watch the best of what New Zealand polo has to offer. Team VIVA and team CENTURIA went head-to-head in a game of F3 polo in front of the historic Auckland Museum. Team VIVA took home the Lexus High Goal Challenge title with a final score of 7-5. Lexus Urban Polo is an unforgettable fusion of sport, music, fashion and food. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, the game of polo is now more accessible than ever before. Using a smaller field for better visibility, the Urban Polo brings a modern twist to the traditional sport creating a unique experience for spectators.This year has been all about harnessing home-grown talent. With Covid 19 restrictions, The Lexus Urban Polo was minus some of its international stars (New Zealand is well renowned for having some of the best players in the sport), but this just provided an opportunity for young, up-and-coming talent to showcase their skill.
