Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

MM AIESEC periencc parr A Most meaningful experiences in AIESEC: In the middle of 2014, I travelled for a GCDP to Romania through AIESEC-BH. It was a very challenging experience, as i had never travelled abroad before and also because i was in gROw,which is a national and most important project of the country. I got under big responsabilitie to “train” youngsters from 16 to 18 years old about a variety of subjects that they can apply both for their personal and professional life. In other to do so, they gave me very intensive training for 5 days. Once i delivered the project and got back to Brazil, i realised my development in 3 parts:  Skills acquired  Inner development  Full development The skills acqired were, for example, facilitator skills, public speaking, personal branding, finding values ,etc; which were the abilities i learned from the training and used in the sessions. The inner development was that i understood, due to the total freedom of choice i had, who am i. At last, my full development came when i realised what is it that i search for, and that being represented by people and relationships, helping them and by consequence even helping myself in the process. I felt in love for this. Therefore i continued in AIESEC, challenging myself even more, step-by-step, climbing hand-given with all of those who are willing as well.

MM AIESEC periencc parr B Most meaningful positions held outside AIESEC: Recently i found that, even unconsciously, i have been always searching to leave legacy. I remember then of my high school. I used to study in this hard-working private school in the north of Minas Gerais, but i saw myself sufocated by the lack of curiosity and diversity of that place. It was always the same ideas, diiculties, solutions... and every breath of life that was different was ruthlessly taken away, just like a grass-weed. But i participated of this group of very artistic (even though i don’t know how to sing/play anything) and critic friends, so me plus two more friends founded this extra-curricular discussion group called “Juventude Clichê”, with the only goal to be a space limitless for diferent ideas, to explore, to go further limits. It was a breathtaking experience to watch those people get out of theirs “little boxes”, even if just for an hour or two. And to my happiness, i recently went there and saw the group still running (different format though). Whenever I remind this, it gives me boost to do great things in AIESEC and in my life.
