I have two apologies to make to all readers, one for the extreme delay since issue 12, there is no excuse, and I’ve not been ill, just a bit lazy. The second is for the quality of the proof reading for the last issue, “I” before “E” and missing the “A” out of what. It really is not good enough. Another photographer picked me up on using the word “right” when I should have used “write” So Christmas has been and gone and even the New Year is old enough that it’s no longer the greeting to all and sundry. Still in lockdown and now the UK government have prepared a gruesome advert to encourage people not to go out. I have to say I did this morning, just to take some shots of the snow, but it was the farthest I’ve walked since early November and it was only about a mile. I have to say that 2021 is not looking good as far as shoots are concerned. Although I can get vaccinated possibly as early as March, most models won’t get a vaccination until the summer at the earliest. I’m not sure that I want to work with an unvaccinated model for 2 reasons 1. A vaccinated person can carry Covid-19 and pass it on, this I could give it to the model 2. My understanding is the subject to the above a vaccinated person is less likely to pass it to others as their symptoms will be milder. My brother has offered me the use of his apartment in Spain, thus I could potentially go there is a model or 2. The apartment sleeps 7 but most of the rooms are doubles rather than twins, thus the 7 goes down to 4. We will have to see how thing pan out.
