Equipment meets sustainable goals of pharmaceutical firms
At interpack, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme presented its current solutions that help customers achieve their sustainability goals: processreliable packaging solutions that enable the switch to recyclable, climate-friendly materials and make the entire packaging process more resource-efficient.
With the BEC 400 blister line, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme offers a solution for packing solid dose products that also processes recyclable mono PP blisters and is already running reliably at customers’ packaging sites. Under nine metres long, the BEC 400 combines a feeder, blister machine and cartoner into one high-performance unit.
The PTC 200 uses cardboard packs
The stand-alone bottle equipment from Uhlmann is a further development of the company’s intuitive, flexible and efficient method for packing solid dose products in bottles. The individual components of the portfolio can be used separately or can be combined to set up a complete packaging line.
Meanwhile, the proportion of parenterals in the pharmaceutical industry is increasing which means that pharmaceutical companies need secondary packaging. With its PTC 200 cartoner line, Uhlmann offers a solution for processing materials that are considered to be more environmentally friendly.
