CAMP FEE STRUCTURE

We realize that families have different economic situations. Camp Shady Brook offers a voluntary three-tier fee program.

Choose the tier that is most suitable for your family:

Tier I Traditionally assisted price and does not reflect the true operating costs of camp Tier II Partially assisted for those who can afford to pay a little more but still cannot afford the true operating costs of camp. Tier III The true operating cost of camp including facility maintenance, upkeep and staff. This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive at camp. It simply offers an opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s time at camp. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience a week of camp regardless of their family’s economic situation. Financial assistance is available to families who cannot afford Tier I fees. Please contact us for more information.

Want to help send another kid to camp? Every year the YMCA actively engages staff and volunteers to reach out to our community and invite them to make a donation to the Camp Shady Brook Community Support Campaign. Every dollar donated goes directly to provide financial assistance to the families who need it most. Your donation can help another child and their family enjoy a values-based experience that will last a lifetime.
