YMCA TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP TWELVE WEEKS SIX LOCATIONS Day Camp offers children a chance to learn, grow and thrive at six Family Centers in the Pikes Peak region. Choose one center or have your kids visit all six throughout the summer. Join us for one week or twelve weeks. No matter what your family’s needs are, the Y will give your kids a great summer experience with a focus on character development and skills building in a safe and fun environment.
DAY CAMP WEEKLY THEMES LET THE SUMMER BEGIN Campers will have the opportunity to begin making friends with other campers and YMCA staff. Come ready to have fun and kick-off an exciting summer.
MUSIC, ART & DRAMA Campers will express themselves through M.A.D (Music, Art and Drama). This will be a creative week with a trip to The Colorado Springs Conservatory.
SPORTS OF ALL SORTS Each day campers will learn and play a new sport and will work together in a tournament to earn a medal. We will play miniature golf this week.
SPLASH & DASH Are you ready to get wet? Take a break from the summer heat! Join us for wacky and wild water games all week long. Campers will swim at an outdoor city pool.
PAY IT FORWARD Has anybody ever done something nice for you? Pay it forward! This week campers will have the opportunity to give back to the community and have fun doing so. Campers will participate in a Community Service project.
OFF THE WALL If you like to get messy, then this week is made just for you. There will be crazy challenges and wacky games, icky, sticky, silly stuff that you can create. Campers will take a field trip to the Money Museum in Colorado Springs.
STARS AND STRIPES Y Day Camp wants YOU! Enlist your camper in this patriotic week of celebrating what makes America great. This week we will take a trip to Memorial Park for a picnic and summer games.
BOOKS, BOOKS & MORE BOOKS This week will be themed around books. Campers will enjoy a fun week inspired by children’s favorite books and will participate in an activity with the Pikes Peak Library District.
TO INFINITY & BEYOND Are you ready to go on a mission to outer space? You will be amazed exploring rockets, space and robots. Campers will take a trip to the Space Foundation.
JUST BUILD IT Campers will have the opportunity to work together to design and build in this project-based week. Campers will build and be able to take a project home from Bricks 4 Kidz.
SUPER HEROES ACADEMY Who is your favorite hero? Join us for a week of discovering heroes and your own powers. We will play super games, make super crafts and have super fun. Campers will host a hero convention.
BUMMER! END OF SUMMER Let’s go out in style! Campers will replay some of their greatest memories of summer and make this the best week of camp.

Our Day Camps provide fun, child-centered activities and opportunities for learning through discovery. Day Camps challenge children to grow in imagination, creativity, self-directed initiative, and leadership.
YOUTH SPORTS CAMP ADD-ONS Enhance your child’s Day Camp experience with Youth Sports Camp Add-Ons. This is a great opportunity for campers to explore the basics or sharpen their skills in Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, Volleyball and Lacrosse 5-days a week. Y Members $50 per week Non-members $50 per week Sports Camp Add-Ons are offered at Briargate, Downtown, Garden Ranch, Southeast and Tri-Lakes during the following weeks. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS 1. Deposits and Late Fees A deposit is required for each session that your child will attend. Each Day Camp session requires a $20 per child deposit. A late fee of $10 will be charged for all camps not registered one week in advance and paid in-full. Deposits and late fees are non-refundable. 2. Remaining Balances Remaining balances are due one week prior to the start of each session. If full payment is not received by the appropriate due date your child’s enrollment may be cancelled. 3. Financial Assistance: The Y’s Annual Community Support Campaign raises money to assist parents who want their children to participate in Day Camp yet cannot afford the fee. Funds are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. CCCAP is accepted

for Traditional Day Camps only at approved sites. Please provide your CCCAP Child Care certificate letter at time of registration. 4. Refunds: Camp Cancellations must be received one week prior to the Camp start date. To cancel your registration for any session, complete a Camp Cancellation / Change Form and submit to your local Y. Vouchers will be given for refunds, less original deposit amount and a $10 processing fee. Deposits are non-refundable and nontransferable. For those paying in-full at the time of registration, your paid in-full amount includes the deposit required for that particular camp. When requesting a refund, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations after the start of the camp will not be refunded.
