“A new journey begins with taking a step; a step of seeking new landscapes of life with new eyes.” The solemn day of 15th August'19 marked the beginning of a new journey for Rotaract Club of WeSchool Bengaluru Campus.. with the 10th installation of Office Bearer for the Rotary year 2019-20.

President, Rotary Club of Rotary Bengaluru Junction Rtr. BG Raj, Member Rotary International, Rotaract & Interact Committee 2016-18 Rtr Karthik Kitty and Drr Shashi Kumar M graced the event by their presence along with Zrr's and other Rotractors and our fellow students.
President 2018-19 Rtr Rushabh Mehta crowned the President 2019-20 Priya Gupta and handed over the Club's responsibility to the new President and her board.
The event concluded with insightful speech by our guests, a photoshoot of the new board and refreshments. It was truly a memorable day and we got a great chance to engage and interact with other Rotractors.

COTS training session

In ode to continual learning, District Rotaract Representative, of District 3190, Rtr. Shashi Kumar organised a Club Officials Training Session and District assembly on 25th August, at PES University.
A training session, under the guidance of District Assembly, was conducted for all the rotaractors of the district 3190. President Rtr Priya Gupta of Rotaract Club of WeSchool along with her team attended this training session. The session was concluded by a valedictory ceremony.
ICGF- 15 September 2019
ICGF InterCity General Forum (ICGF) is to give every Rotarian and Rotaractor a chance to learn how he/she can make Rotary’s service to the community more effective. It was the first time this year, ICGF was organized by the Rotaractors. The event was one of its kinds, with the theme of “Superheroes”. The distinct keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament from Bangalore South. He spoke about Bangalore as a developing city as well as waste management and how youths are the strength of India. The insights given by him were inspiring and interesting.
The event was then followed by Nachley 5.0, the Retro-Pop Dance event, where different dancers showcasedd their talents by performing group dance, couple dance and solo.
Towards the end, lunch was served followed by the prize distribution ceremony. It was a great event with people wearing their superheroes costume and showing enthusiasm throughout.
Nehru Planetarium Visit-29th September 2019

A joint initiative by Rotaract Club of Bangalore Junction and Rotaract Club of Welingkar to bring a smile on the faces of children from Rainbow School- an orphanage Club Activity- A group of 35 children from Rainbow School, an orphanage located in Kodihalli Main Road (Domlur) were taken on a trip to Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium on Sanky Road on 29th September’19.
The Day Plan
The day kicked off with the Rotaractors of The Rotaract Club of Welingkar visiting the orphanage, thereby, picking up the children for the visit, scheduled at 11am.
After the arrival at the Planetarium at 12 noon, the members of the Rotaract Club of Bangalore junction, joined us. The show of the Solar System was scheduled at 1:15pm, till then, the children explored the various science working models and prototypes that catered to their curiosities.
Finally, the show commenced at 1:15pm. It lasted for 45 minutes. The students were mesmerized to see the show. They had lots of questions regarding the functioning of the Solar System We were elated to see their response for the show. After the show was over, the children were provided with refreshments from Mc Donald’s (Burger, French Fries and juice).
Also, to keep them involved, small activities were organised and chocolates were distributed for the same. At 3pm, the trip finally came to an end with departure from the Planetarium, followed by dropping the children back to the orphanage.
It was an eventful day not only for the children but for the rotaractors as well. The children enjoyed a lot. A small step at our end, led to a bigger smile to their faces and we are happy to be the reason.

An initiative undertaken by Rotaract Club of Bangalore Junction, Rotaract Club of Gems Bschool and Rotaract Club of Welingkar to master the art of creating and delivering a speech. The event was under the Professional Development Services, where upon the club members were guided by Rtr. Pradeep Kumar. ”Exploring the orator within” focused on how to effectively and fearlessly communicate our thoughts through a perfect blend of words. It was a nice learning session for all the members.
