The session started with Dr. Patro asking the students about their expectation from the session and students enthusiastically participated in the session. To answer the questions of digitalization. Mr. Hariharan walked through his journey at Welingkar as a student and how the Welingkar leadership team inspired and influenced him throughout his career. According to Mr. Hariharan the role of leadership is to find the future, recognize the future and to secure the future. This can be done by putting the right planning and vision. From his personal experience he underlined the need to develop a reading habit amongst the students. The need to have an open access to learn was one of the takeaways from the session.

The interactive session started by the speaker posting a question to the students of the solutions can be perfect. The perfect solution needs to be evolved. The outcome is based on the external forces. The concept of reaching to the perfect solution was explained with the help of a story problem where some of explorers need to reach the castle without falling to the ditch. The students were introduced to filtration criteria and the need to ask questions through this story problem. The constraints for the story line was introduced.

The session started with Mr. Sunderraj giving a detailed description of Volvo and its operations. He gave overview of product portfolio and operational management of Volvo Construction equipment. Three types of logistics were also introduced during the session, He explained about various aspects of operations and supply chain management and manufacturing concepts. Students query related to operations management and supply chain management and leadership were addressed by the speaker.
