Dr Anita Pillai, introduced the speaker for the day. Ms Ranjana Nair is a young entrepreneur who along with two other people has started a company which works on IOT. She began her session by giving a brief introduction about her company and how it was started. According to her, entrepreneurship doesn’t mean running big company but is ‘creating something out of nothing’. One actually requires risk appetite to become a successful entrepreneur. Innovation is a vital element of entrepreneurship.

Mr. Jitesh talked about customer engagement and cultural heritage followed at Atos Syntel, the definition of customer, engagement and customer engagement and also the inclusiveness in Indian culture in general. It was an interactive session where students asked about their doubts such as what factors matter in customer loyalty and how to negotiate in B2B space.
