Nature Program

AGE 3-5

Our Nature Explorers program is 100% outdoors and provides experiential based learning opportunities. A typical day might include creek exploring, nature wandering, free play time, climbing hills, reading stories, nature based arts and crafts, circle time, storytelling and child inspired play. We will have the opportunity to get to know about the plants, animals, insects, trees and other cycles of nature that will be happening around us. Nature is our Teacher as we learn and play together.

For our classes, we ask that children have their own backpack with a snack, a lunch, and a water bottle. Children should be dressed for varying weather conditions and dress in layers since we operate 100% outdoors. Please pack a change of clothes in a zip lock bag and dress children in long pants, long sleeves and wearing shoes with grip. On rainy days, please dress children in rain gear, rain boots and warm underlayers. Children must be potty trained, able to carry a small backpack and able to communicate in basic English or Spanish.
