Europeans make up 75% of exhibitors, with a majority of companies coming from Italy, 18% from France, 12% from Turkey and 8% from the Iberian Peninsula, countries where leather has a proud heritage. Fourteen new tanneries, chosen by the Selection Committee for the quality of their products, will be joining the show. These include CONCERIA DELUXE, a member of the Italian group Nuti Ivo, with its ovine leathers, the Turkish company HARMANLI, offering exceptional quality lamb leathers, and the Italian FOGLIZZO with its leathers for the saddlery and leather goods markets. In the exotic leathers sector, we welcome the Columbian company TOPCROC, a major supplier of caiman skins for the leather goods market. The textiles for accessories sector sees the retour of FRATELLI MORELLI, with a large range of textiles from the most technical to the most natural. In this Autumn-Winter season, demand is high for shearling leathers and furs for the ready-to-wear sector. The leader in chinchilla fur, WANGER, is joining the show with a collection offering infinite colour possibilities, and is joined by the Greek firm, EXPOPEL, which offers bespoke developments on mink, sable, fox, coyote, chinchilla, lynx, Rex rabbits and raccoon furs.

THE INTERNATIONAL LEATHER AND FUR SPECIALIST SHOW
PRESS RELEASE
A season which promises attractive fashion encounters, fashion which embellishes the present and delights in the metamorphosis of materials at Première Vision Leather. A teaser of the season’s high points is now available on www.premierevision.com, in the form of an inspirational and instructive video entitled “Season’s opener”. The fashion information provided by Première Vision is unrivalled in the trade show sector and is being enriched to accompany visitors in the design of their collections and offer them additional suggestions to those proposed at the show itself. During the show, the Fashion Director, Claude Vuillermet will meet buyers and showcase a selection of materials during the very popular Leather Fashion Breakfasts. Following their success during the previous edition, this exclusive and intimate format is being repeated with increased seating capacity. To fully appreciate the complementarity between the various sectors that make up Première Vision Paris, a new Shoe Focus forum in Hall 4 of Première Vision Accessories will bring together the technical and decorative components specifically designed for shoes with the leather and textiles on offer at Première Vision Leather. To optimise visits to the show, an access tunnel will link the north of Halls 3 and 4, allowing direct communication between the Première Vision Leather Trend Gallery and the Shoe Focus forum of Première Vision Accessories. An essential destination for pure players on the premium and luxury shoe market. Another interesting initiative for strengthening the synergies between the various sectors of Première Vision sees leather associated for the very first time with the highly anticipated PV Awards competition. Organised around a prestigious jury made up of influential figures from the fashion scene, Premiere Vision will reward the most remarkable creations in this field. The leathers selected for the competition will be exhibited on the Trends Gallery before being awarded the «Grand Jury prize», “Imagination prize» and «Handle prize» on Tuesday 15th September at 5pm, alongside the Fabrics section. Also new for this edition, the Incube forum, which focuses particularly on innovation in the leather sector will turn the spotlight on the traceability of skins as well as the various stages of transformation to which they are subjected. Quality is not limited just to the tactile properties of leather, but also covers its origins and the environmental impacts of its manufacturing process. In recognition of the wide-ranging work on traceability underway in tanneries, the forum will highlight the bar codes attributed to each hide, a veritable identity card for the product throughout its transformation process. Ecology and the preservation of raw materials are the major challenges for a better future. The chemical products exhibitors organised into a collective entitled «Material Preview» are well aware of this. They will organise mini-conferences on new environmentally-responsible products, the quality of leathers and the latest innovations.
} The show runs from 15 - 17 September
Hall 3, Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte.
