Naveena works to minimize the environmental impact of their operations using natural resources in the most efficient way possible. Naveena presents Horizon, the most sustainable denim fabric ever. HORIZON combines Naveena’s existing Ecolean + Aqualter processes for dyeing and H2NO for finishing. Using 81% less water, 40% less energy and 50% less steam compared to conventional process, HORIZON improves EIM score by 40%. It also provides less water dyeing for indigo colours with no salt formation. Using BCI cotton, HORIZON comprises of a unique combination of three different processes both in dyeing and finishing. An innovative dying process, designed in collaboration with DyStar, Ecolean reduces significantly the effluent output while saving, energy, water and time.

KILIM DENIM
Since 2015, Kilim Denim has decreased their use of: electricity by 40%, steam by 66%, fuel by 70% and water by 65%. As a company they contribute to health, transportation and social life of Yeni Kadın Köyü village where most of their employees live with financial aid. The fabrics manufactured with the yarns produced as part of this plastic waste collection campaign initiated as a social responsibility project will begin to be presented with the ReCreate concept as of Spring/Summer 2020. INDIGO DYE INNOVATION A new process, aiming to forgot the use of sodium dithionite in the new generation of indigo dyeing. Therefore, they completely stop producing sulfide salt which collects in water, biologically cannot be melted, and is preserved in nature to some extent. This will prevent the emission of toxic ingredients in nature. Aiming to minimize the environmental hazard, this new indigo dye also offers a more natural and different indigo color.

AZGARD is the first denim company from Pakistan who volunteered for SA-8000:2008 – Social Accountability and we comply all necessary certifications. They are also member of BCI. The company developed TruDry™, fibers made with TruDry wick moisture up to three times faster than other fibers—so moisture moves away and evaporates quicker, keeping the wearer cool and dry. Permanent, tested up to 50 launderings as the technology is in the yarn structure. TruDry is available in a full range of REPREVE and PROFIBER yarns and multiple fiber types: polyester filament, staple and spun, limited nylon, solution or packaged dyed.
