La Pista 7 Laghi di Castelletto ospita la seconda prova della WSK Super Master Series con un ulteriore record di partecipanti, ben 253! Nell’occasione WSK Promotion compie un ulteriore aggiornamento tecnologico e inaugura un nuovo sistema video con nuove telecamere high tech, per il miglior controllo della sicurezza in gara e una più accurata visibilità per il Live Streaming di tutta la fase finale di ogni appuntamento.

Dopo l’apertura di Adria, in testa alla classifica si sono portati in KZ2 a punteggio pieno Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM Racing-Bridgestone) davanti al compagno di squadra Bas Lammers. In OK è Ulysse De Pauw (KosmicParilla-Bridgestone) a comandare la classifica su Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone), mentre in OK-Junior si è portato al vertice Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) inseguito da Jack Doohan (FA KartVortex-Vega). Nella Mini è in testa Alfio Spina (CRG-TM Racing-Vega) sul compagno di squadra Luca Giardelli.

The 7 Laghi circuit in Castelletto hosted the second round of the WSK Super Master Series and set a new record of 253 participants! WSK Promotion also introduced a new technology, inaugurating a new video system with new high-tech cameras to improve race safety management and provide greater visibility for the Live Streaming of the entire final phase of each event.

After the opening event at Adria, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM Racing-Bridgestone) scored maximum points to continue leading the standings in the KZ2 ahead of teammate Bas Lammers. In the OK, Ulysse De Pauw (KosmicParilla-Bridgestone) was first in the standings ahead of Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone), while in the OK-Junior Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) took the lead, followed by Jack Doohan (FA Kart-VortexVega). The Mini saw Alfio Spina (CRG-TM Racing-Vega) ahead of teammate Luca Giardelli.

NUOVI LEADER ALLA RIBALTA NEW LEADERS UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT

Il secondo appuntamento della WSK Super Master Series si apre con la variabile meteo con la pioggia a rendere ancor più difficili le prove ufficiali e le manches di qualificazione, per volgere poi al meglio nella fase finale del weekend.

In KZ2 è subito il leader di classifica Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM Racing-Bridgestone) a rivelarsi il più veloce in prova, insidiato da Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) e dal suo compagno di squadra Luca Corberi particolarmente efficiente sul bagnato. Le manches confermano la competitività di Abbasse che va ad occupare la prima posizione, inseguito da Corberi e da Ardigò. Nelle due Prefinali il successo lo conquistano rispettivamente Abbasse e Lammers, protagonisti anche in Finale, dove però è Bas Lammers a guadagnare il successo, dopo aver superato a metà gara il veloce Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-TM RacingBridgestone), con Stan Pex (CRG-TM Racing-Bridgestone) al terzo posto davanti a Abbasse e Ardigò. Lammers è il nuovo leader della categoria.

Nella OK è Luca Lippkau (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) a ottenere il miglior tempo in prova e ad esprimersi ad alto livello anche nelle manches, ma a prendere il sopravvento è il Campione del Mondo in carica Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone) che nelle manches di qualificazione conquista la prima posizione davanti a Lippkau, con Lorenzo Travisanutto (ZanardiParilla-Bridgestone) terzo nella graduatoria provvisoria. Fra i maggiori protagonisti si inserisce anche Tom Joyner (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) con la vittoria in Prefinale A, mentre la Prefinale B è preda di Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone). La Finale è particolarmente combattuta, sul traguardo Joyner chiude al primo posto davanti a Novalak e Travisanutto, ma nel dopo gara la classifica viene rivista con 5 secondi di penalizzazione a Joyner e 10 secondi a Travisanutto per alcuni contatti, ovvero la vittoria va a Novalak davanti a Paavo Tonteri (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone). Joyner è classificato terzo, Travisanutto decimo. Il leader provvisorio di classifica De Pauw conclude ottavo, e la testa della classifica passa a Novalak.

Nella OK-Junior nelle prove di qualificazione è Kas Haverkort (CRG-Parilla-Vega) a guadagnare la pole position davanti a Jack Doohan (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega), ma nelle manches di qualificazione si impone Gillian Henrion (CRG-Parilla-Vega) su Doohan e sul leader di classifica Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), in gran recupero dalla 12ma posizione delle prove. Rosso si impone poi anche nella Prefinale A, mentre nella Prefinale B la vittoria va a Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega). In Finale Rosso si porta subito in testa e conclude con la vittoria, seguito da Mattia Michelotto che però per una penalizzazione di 10 secondi perde la seconda posizione, ereditata da Bulantsev davanti a Doohan che agguanta il terzo posto. Rosso si conferma leader.

Nella Mini Gabriele Minì (Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) sul bagnato conquista il miglior tempo nelle prove di qualificazione, e si rivela vincente anche nelle manches davanti a Luca Giardelli (CRG-TM Racing-Vega) e a Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart-TM Racing-Vega). Le due Prefinali vanno a Bedrin e a Andrea Antonelli (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), con quest’ultimo che si conferma vincente anche in Finale, dove conclude al primo posto davanti a Bedrin e a Ugo Ugochukwu (EnergyIame-Vega). Minì è quarto, Spina settimo, e nuovo leader di classifica diventa Antonelli. The second WSK Super Master Series event began in uncertain weather conditions, the rain making the official practice sessions and the qualifiers even more difficult before the weather took a turn for the better during the final phase of the weekend.

The leader in the KZ2 standings, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM Racing-Bridgestone), was immediately the fastest in the practice session, closely followed by Marco Ardigò (Tony KartVortex-Bridgestone) and his teammate Luca Corberi, who was particularly quick in the wet. The heats confirmed Abbasse was quick and he took first place, followed by Corberi and Ardigò. The two Pre-finals were won by Abbas and Lammers, respectively, who also starred in the Final, in which Bas Lammers triumphed, having overtaken a fast Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-TM Racing-Bridgestone) at the half-way point of the race, with Stan Pex (CRG-TM Racing-Bridgestone) in third place ahead of Abbasse and Ardigò. Lammers took the lead in the overall standings.

In the OK, Luca Lippkau (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) posted the best time in practice and also acquitted himself well in the heats, but World Champion Pedro Hiltbrand (Tony Kart-VortexBridgestone ) then took control and finished first in the qualifying heats ahead of Lippkau, with Lorenzo Travisanutto (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) third in the provisional rankings. Tom Joyner (Zanardi-Parilla-Bridgestone) was also among the fastest, having won Pre-final A, while Pre-final B went to Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone). The Final was particularly hard-fought, with Joyner crossing the finish line first ahead of Novalak and Travisanutto, but after the race the positions changed thanks to a 5 second penalty awarded to Joyner and a 10 second penalty for Travisanutto due to some contacts, meaning that victory went to Novalak ahead Paavo Tonteri (Tony Kart-Vortex-Bridgestone). Joyner finished third and Travisanutto tenth. The provisional leader, De Pauw, finished eighth, allowing Novalak to take first place in the standings.

Kas Haverkort (CRG-Parilla-Vega) earnt pole position ahead of Jack Doohan (FA KartVortex-Vega) In the OK-Junior practice session, but the qualifying rounds saw Gillian Henrion (CRG-Parilla- Vega) finish first ahead of Jack Doohan and the leader in the standings Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), who managed an impressive fight back from 12th position in the practice session. Rosso also went on to win the Pre-final A, while victory in the Pre-final B went to Pavel Bulantsev (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega). In the Final, Rosso immediately took the lead and sped to victory followed by Mattia Michelotto. However, a 10 second penalty meant that the latter lost second place, which was inherited by Bulantsev ahead of Doohan, in third. Rosso confirmed his position as leader in the overall standings.

In the wet, Gabriele Minì (Parolin-TM Racing-Vega) posted the best time in the practice session in the Mini and also went on to win the heats ahead of Luca Giardelli (CRG-TM RacingVega) and Nikita Bedrin (Tony Kart-TM Racing-Vega). The two Pre-finals were won by Bedrin and Andrea Antonelli (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), with the latter also winning the Final, in which he finished first ahead of Bedrin and Ugo Ugochukwu (Energy-Iame-Vega). Minì finished fourth, Spina seventh, and Antonelli became the new leader in the overall standings.
