Awesome Games Done Quick Much like the Prevent Cancer Foundation– born around a kitchen table–Games Done Quick began as a gaming competition in Mom’s basement. Now, thousands of people gather in person and hundreds of thousands stream from around the world to be part of the annual “speedrunning” gaming event, Awesome Games Done Quick, to raise funds for the Foundation. We are proud to be part of this community that defies the odds, challenges expectations and continually breaks records.
The 2020 event received more than 54,000 donations from more than 80 different countries and raised a total of $3.13 million for the Foundation. Each year the generosity and kindness of the gaming community amazes us. To date, Awesome Games Done Quick has raised more than $14.4 million to fund research, technology transfer and community grants in the U.S. and around the world, and cancer prevention and early detection education and outreach.
