The Verdi Festival in Parma and surrounding area: A visit to the Verdi Festival is a great opportunity to discover other interesting historic sites around Parma and learn about the development of the musical genius that was Giuseppe Verdi. Around the L’Unicorno, other cultural gems are waiting to be discovered; Bergamo Alta, the birthplace of Gaetano Donizetti, the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Brescia and Mantova, the violin museum at Cremona – birthplace of Antonio Stradivari – or the inhabited island of Montisola on Lake Iseo.

The L’Unicorno is surrounded by vineyards, organic fruit trees and olive groves not far from Lake Garda. This old 10-bedroom mansion dating back to the year 1654 oozes charm and an exclusive ambiance of bygone days.
