A spectacular view of the Kings of the Dolomites, the mighty Schiern, Langkofel, Geisler peaks and the legendary Rosengarten. Up here, you don’t just want to hike – you want to stay. With the new Lodge on the Ritten, the most beautiful plateau above Bolzano, the Sanoner family have continued the development of their concept of hospitality. Now the ADLER Lodge ALPE on the Seiser pasture has a sister. The ADLER Lodge RITTEN was inaugurated in June 2019: the main house with restaurant, bar, lounge and two large terraces and basement with spa, pool, and gym. Two narrow buildings each with 10 junior suites and one large family suite which takes up the whole of the upper level. And by the natural lake or on the hillside below, 20 chalets, four of which have two floors. All the buildings blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, the warm natural tones of the dark wood camouflaged tastefully against the forest.
TIP –– A half-day trek with lamas and alpacas from the Kaserhof at the RITTEN. You’ll take the trail of the ancient Roman path to the famous Ritten earth pyramids where a team snack break awaits.
