Uniview launches ColourHunter network camera
Why ColourHunter? The main challenge for traditional surveillance systems is providing operators with clear images in full colour without losing any of the crucial details necessary for identification – especially in ultra-low illumination.
As we know, most criminal offenses are committed at night. With the new ColourHunter, we can try and overcome this problem. The camera provides 24/7 true colour rather than grainy monochrome video in order to identify perpetrators efficiently in any follow up investigations. In addition, with the AI Smart Intrusion Prevention function, the alarm will only be triggered by human and vehicle targets; reducing false alarms. 24/7 colourful monitoring powered by innovative technology The power of the ColourHunter’s ability to capture colourful details in ultra-low light derives from three specific hardware technologies: super large aperture, a progressive BSI sensor and high-quality LED lights. Super large aperture The lens is equipped with a F1.0 super large aperture which allows more light in and significantly improves image brightness. According to laboratory data, F1.0 super large aperture collects 4 times the amount of light compared with F2.0 aperture. Progressive BSI Sensor The ColourHunter camera is equipped with the latest BSI sensor; allowing more light to penetrate and therefore drastically improving the sensitivity of the lens. High Quality LED lights Warm LED lights guarantee lower light pollution and maintain the true colour in any low-light environment.
Reduce false alarm in the darkness The AI Smart Intrusion Prevention (SIP) filters false alarms through focusing only on potential targets. This works by only triggering alarms when humans or vehicles enter an area identified as restricted. Accuracy is increased by SIP with the clearer image quality and the fact ColourHunter provides such excellent image colour in dark environments. This helps operators to quickly identify any security issues, alert night-time guards or take other actions to secure the area.
