SATEL has been developing and manufacturing electronic security products for over thirty years. This extensive experience has culminated in the release of the new range of motion detectors, SLIM LINE, which offer several time-saving features, as well as substantial improvements in performance and reliability making them the company’s easiest to install motion detectors ever. Not only that, but in 2020 the devices were a finalist in the PSI Premier Awards and scored an amazing 9/10 in an independent test in PSI magazine. Here we find out why the detectors have been causing a stir in the market:
Quick and easy installation All models have a screwless cover, so you can open the enclosure with a flat-head screwdriver, and simply squeeze to close it. All models also include built-in EOL resistors to speed up installation. PRO models also include an adjustable wall and ceiling mount tamper-proof bracket.
Remote configuration A very useful feature for installers, available in the LUNA and PRO models, is the ability to remotely configure the detector operating parameters using the OPT-1 keyfob. Sensor sensitivity, operating mode, indicator light colour and LED lighting mode (LUNA models only) can all be changed easily, without having to open the detector enclosure each time or use a ladder. One enclosure, many detectors SLIM LINE detectors all have the same elegant, slim enclosure, made of high quality plastic. The uniform appearance of all detectors makes it difficult for an intruder to identify the specific model used in the system because all of them look the same, not to mention it makes your projects very neat.
One indicator, many colours Installers can choose the LED indicator colour on all SLIM LINE detectors. Depending on the model, there are either four or seven colours available – if necessary, the LED indicator can also be turned off permanently.
Independently certified All SLIM LINE motion detectors meet the requirements of the EN 50131 Grade 2 or Grade 3 European Standards for motion detectors, and have been independently certified by Trezor Test.
Extended warranty All SLIM LINE detectors also come with a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
