Aimed at IP camera system newcomers, the CPD certified course explores and explains the differences between standard data switches vs. video specific switches, and understanding IEE802 networking standards vs. high capacity video specific standards.

Subjects covered within the CPD course include setting-up the Digital Management System (DMS), ring topology design, easy cable connection diagnostics, active camera tracking, PoE consumption control, port security and much more.

For those wishing to improve on their existing skills, the CPD Certified course is designed to extract the most from video networks and video switch performance; looking at switch and network security, advanced switch configuration and port programming, graphical management (maps and plans), hi-power PoE distribution and cyber security.
