Welcome Sales Update Well, 2016 was another exceptional year for real estate in our area. We have continued to see strong capital growth across lake Macquarie and Newcastle with Cardiff and Cameron Park having the highest median growth locally with both exceeding 10% and according to the newspapers, 2017 is to be a year of National Growth. However, with selling real estate it comes down to the activities the Agent does to achieve the best outcome for a seller. 2016 Proved to be an extremely active to for this Real Estate Office, with many happy sellers expressing their gratitude's. With maximum exposure and promotion, we have seen an increase to property inspections and this has therefore lead to outstanding results in prices and short periods of time on the market ensuring these outstanding results. For the last 5 years we have found the best results have been in the January March quarter and with this in mind if you are considering selling now would be an excellent opportunity. Property Management Update Newcastle Property Management continues to outperform our competitors leasing properties well under the average time period of other agencies in our area, according to realestate.com.au statistical data. This goes hand in hand with NPM vacancy rate being under the REI average for the last 12 months. (See graph below). Why? Kellie Andriessen has been looking after property investors need since 1988 and being an investor herself she knows how important it is to have your property not only leased but have quality tenants at the same time.
