• Apply two layers of your favourite colour of Gellak or Sopolish and cure. • Apply one layer of Blooming Effect Gel. Do not cure. • Create a design with the Pointy Brush n°7 in the Blooming Effect Gel with your favourite colour of Gellak or Sopolish. After a few seconds the blooming effect will appear. You can add as many colours as you want. Cure. • In case of gel: remove the sticky layer with non-acetone polish remover to avoid contamination of the Crystal Seal top coat. • In case of Sopolish : remover the sticky layer with ProSeptic before applyinng the Sopolus Shine (not to smudge the design).

Not all women are blessed with strong healthy natural nails all the time. We asked Sandrine, head international ProNails trainer, what matters most to get a perfect natural gel look:
TRANSPARENCY When it comes to a natural look it’s all about keeping the balance between sheerness and the right amount of coverage. Just one thin layer of the Master Milky Pink or Nude Gel allows you to cover up any possible imperfections of the natural nails, yet still maintain the soft transparent look that you want to achieve.
SHAPE
COLOUR
Key to nailing the natural look is having a thin result with the needed structure and strength. On top you don’t have any colour that can hide any flaws. The Master gel does the hard work for you: it’s applied thinly and levels out evenly without the need for filing afterwards. In the same time you’ll be ensured of the necessary strength.
It’s essential to choose the right shade that will complement the skin tone of your client. For a warm skin tone (yellow undertone – fair and dark) you are best to use the contrasting Milky Pink. A cold skin tone (pink/blue undertone) is complemented better by Master Nude, which is a warmer more peachy shade. But most of all trust your own judgement in this, since every skin looks different.

Did many of your clients switch to the Master gel? “All of my clients prefer the Master gel. Except for one, but she is purely a creature of habit and prefers not to change for now. All I’ve done is tell them what I learned during the training: it’s faster so they have to spend less time in my salon. My clients can now quickly drop by after work, on their way home. On top of that, the coating is thinner and the result is more natural-looking. 30 NAILY NEWS AW18-19
“Very good. They tell me the nails feel stronger. Some also say they look thinner, even though I already made them very thin before. But the most important thing is that it only takes 30 minutes. That’s an incredible change. It’s a win-win for me and my clients. They have to give up less of their time and I can treat more clients in one day.”
What’s the biggest success you owe to the Master gel? “It used to take me 45 minutes to help one client, now it only takes me 30 minutes. Nowadays, I work from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. So go ahead and do the math. Today I will have 17 clients. Of course, whenever I have to do Nail Art on a client it will still take me 45 minutes. If I’m lucky, I even have some spare time to grab a snack. I have a higher turnover and use up several bottles a week. As a matter of fact, I would love it if the bottles were a bit larger. They are slightly more expensive, but if I take my higher turnover into account it’s actually cheaper for me. And I earn a lot more than I used to.”

SAY YES TO SPEED & NO TO HEAT! The benefit of LED curing is of course speed: with the LED Smart Light, curing of gels is minimum twice as fast, which shortens your service time significantly. However, this faster curing proces also gives a faster release of energy in the gel, which can result into a higher heat sensation for your more sensitive customers. That’s why we invented the SMART LED technology with SOFT START functions, to control and reduce any possible heat sensation. The ProNails SMART LIGHT has four individual timer buttons with built in smart LED technology. The timer buttons come in 30 and 60 seconds in either FULL START or in SOFT START function. The SOFT START function allows you to control the power output of your
lamp at the beginning of the curing process to reduce heat sensation on the nail. The FULL START function uses the full capacity of the lamp for optimal curing of colours and glosses. All ProNails Base and Builder gels cure in 30 seconds SOFT START. The 30 sec SOFT START function will start at 40% capacity and will gradually increase to 100%. For customers with sensitive nails you can slow down the curing process to 60 seconds SOFT START instead. This will start the curing at a reduced capacity (of 20%) and will increase more slowly to 100%. The ProNails Smart Light is highly recommended with the use of 3-in-1 gels such as the MASTER and ONE for optimal speed and heat control.
