Washing
Centre cross-over wash The side cylinders perform a complete centre cross-over wash, which guarantees an immaculate front and rear wash. Electronically controlled via a continuous gear rack made from stainless steel. Vertical positioning with pneumatic adjustment of cylinders during the centre cross-over function and washing the sides of the high vehicels. Wheel wash device Robust stainless steel design. Linear guidance of the inner irrigated wheel wash brushes. Large disc diameter for 21� wheel rims. Increased cleaning performance through pulsating brush application and rotation direction change. Wheel identification via photo cells.
Wash sequence Electronically controlled wash cylinders guarantee even and gentle detection of every auto body form. Vehicle surfaces are washed in one forward and one return cycle during which the brush rotation direction is automatically changed.

Hydraulic system
Service-friendly Comfortable access from the rear side where the water maintenance and control cabinet are housed. High-grade door elements prevent splashing water from penetrating the inside components.
Adjustment panel Modern water and air technology are located behind this device. A controller and a manometer for the air-pressure, pneumatic oiler and water pressure monitor prevent washing without water. The unit switches to emergency switch-off should the water level drop too low.
Dosing device Electrically controlled metering pumps ensure that the chemical concentrates in each container are dosed precisely. In addition to the standard lifting setting, Christ’s dosing pumps additionally feature a frequency control for fine setting. Settings can be performed from the control console. Wash agent containers The unit can be equipped with up to 6 containers according to the program constellations. The plastic containers are scaled and thereby simplify consumption monitoring.

Wash agent level monitoring Level switches located in the wash agent containers emit an automatic reserve notice. This simplifies timely filling and prevents depletion of the wash chemicals.
Switchgear unit Unit control The clearly laid out switchboard is located behind an additional, transparent access doors. Compact, industrial SPC-control with a modern bus system forms the heart of the wash unit computer. The multisided functions are precisely controlled and guarantee that the sequence of operations is carried out safely.
Diagnosis system The electronics monitor the most important components of the wash unit. Error notices and breakdowns are indicated in clear text on the display. Fast self-help is enabled by the acknowledgement system.
Brush control Using the current consumption, power and control modules measure the wash cylinder’s applied pressure. Moderate application of the cylinders serves for a gentle vehicle wash.
Variable and gentle Frequency converters control the electromotor’s traction and lifting drives. Variable and smooth movement sequences optimize the operating cycles.

Drying
Pivotting roof blower This Christ technique has been successfully employed for over 15 years. Photo-cell controlled jets are angled for optimized drying of front and rear surfaces.
Intelligent scanning: An upgrade to this application is now newly available with Opti-air. This new technology enables the angle of the drying jet to continuously adjust to the carbody’s shape and thereby achieve top drying results on all vehicle contours.

High-pressure All-around high-pressure The entire vehicle is pre-cleaned in either one or two passes. Supply units for 85 bar or 16 bar can be selected as required. The horizontal jets are guided contour-following over the vehicle.
Under-chassis wash device A mobile wash carriage sprays the vehicle’s underside with 85 bar high-pressure using 2 rotating high-pressure jets. Vehicle length measurement ensures that the spraying sequence is ended exactly at the vehicle’s rear and prevents needless spraying beyond the vehicle.
High-pressure side wash By means of a 85 bar high pressure jet, integrated in the wheel scrubber disc on both sides, the sill and lower side areas are successfully cleaned of coarse dirt. Whilst the two brushes remain in a slanted position throughout their rotating motion the water jets are directed upwards in order to avoid water being sprayed uselessly under the vehicle. Only during the effective wheel scrubbing the brushes are brought into a vertical position whilst the high pressure jets improve substantially the rim and wheel wash result. Pump cabinet with storage container Space-saving plastic cabinet construction with storage tank situated directly on top of the cabinet. Integrated water separation can be selected for either fresh or recycled water inlet. Two built-in 85 bar high-pressure pump devices, continuously feed the under-chassis wash and side high-pressure wash in the wash unit.
Additional programs Foam – Wax
Active foam device Tough dirt is effectively loosend and the vehicle is thoroughly soaked down before the wash cylinders are employed. The foamed down vehicle is an eye-catcher and considerably improves cleaning results. An profitable advantage for every unit operator.
Wax device Wax is applied to the vehicle’s surface in an extra operating cycle to achieve a high gloss effect. Large surface water sheeting for catalyzing the drying process and lasting paint surface protection. This care program helps to preserve the vehicle’s value and increases the amount of programs that can be offered.
Wheel rim spray device Dirt in the rims is effectively dissolved during the wheel wash, serving as the basis for an intensive, subsequent wheel and rim wash.
Jointed brush device, side cylinders
In addition to the technical advantages, the angled form wins over customers with its appearances and is positively perceived as a special feature by the wash customer.

Positioning device Clear arrow symbols FORWARD-STOP-BACKWARD simplify entrance into the end position. The LED indication lights are designed in the traffic colors green and red. Control over photocells during entrance.
Front indication system The decorative design increases the attractiveness of the unit. Five variants are available in order to individualize the unit’s design. Large, illuminated red LED-fields indicate the program steps.

Service devices
Program selection device C-CAT A wash ticket can be generated for the customer at the cash point using the C-CAT device. The six digit code is used to start the program on the wash unit. Further functions are possible in connection with a data line connecting the service device to the wash unit.
Service terminal Wall mounted device For starting the wash unit via program or code input. Protected clear overlaid keypad with illuminated control panel.
Service terminal Standing device This upgrade enables free-standing allocation. The support column can be used to house accessory equipment such as the: magnet card reader, coin acceptor, barcode reader and intercom unit.
