“Our longevity makes us special,” Keesha smiles. “We work through hard times and always do the right thing for clients and team members. I’m proud to say half of our employees have been here for over three years, and they are really more like family. We are a close-knit group who have each other’s backs. I couldn’t do this by myself. It takes an incredible team like ours to flawlessly process 100 orders a month.”

Quick Abstract, LLC enjoys partnering with REALTORS® and mortgage brokers. “They are the backbone of their business, and we love supporting them with any guidance and education they need to help transactions run smoothly,” Keesha says. “Estate issues are a prime example. When a deceased mother’s property goes under contract, the estate must be open for it to sell, and a few steps need to be done. Also, many fraudulent things are happening with Power of Attorney documents these days. Those need to be carefully reviewed before getting to the closing table. We get calls all the time about this and other general questions.”

“Nobody says I want to own a title company when I grow up,” Keesha says. “Kids all want to be doctors or lawyers. I love employing young people and showing them how this business can have a positive, generational impact on lives. When people buy homes, they help their families with so many things, and we get to be a part of that. There is no better compliment than when a client comes back to us again because they know we do things right and will help them reach their goals. Special thanks to two amazing managers that I had while working in the title business, Marjorie Caddy and Ellis Cook, they saw in me what I necessarily didn’t see in myself at the time. While working for them for five years I was truly able to absorb and learn everything about title. Also, Meg McKee and Cynthia Mills of WFG National Title Insurance, who have consistently put our company in a position to win with resources and support and also believing in our company when others didn’t.”

"Judd is my number one go-to for anything insurance-related. For my clients as well as personal. Judd is a wealth of knowledge and is a great resource for understanding what type of coverage is needed for all di erent properties, cars, personal belongings, etc. If he isn't able to take on the policy he is well networked in the industry where he can at least guide you in the right direction. The thing I love about Judd is you know he's a straight shooter, he walks you through the process, and at the end, you know you're covered in the most comprehensive way without over-selling you on things that don't make sense. I have used and recommended him countless times and I can't speak any higher than the service that Judd and his team at Statefarm provides!" - Nick Giganti, C.E.O, Realtor

STEFAN

SCHECTER

BHHS PRIME REAL ESTATE

In Tune with Their Needs

The ability to listen, understand and then act on fulfilling the needs is one of the powers you have. You make dreams come true for your clients.

Stefan Schecter has that same driving force.

As a Licensed REALTOR® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Prime Real Estate, Stefan gives his all each day to ensure that he is in tune with the needs of those around him.

“I love connecting with people and educating them on things that others may not have taken the time to do,” Stefan says. “The whole idea of buying a house can be a daunting task. If you don’t have the right person to help you, you can end up in a bad position. I like to help people through that process.”

Taking a Musical Path

Stefan’s real estate career has gotten o to a roaring start since he earned his license and began in November 2021. But he has made a career out of being in tune with others for years before that.

In fact, he grew up in a very musical background in Northeast Philadelphia. His dad, Mitchell, is a drummer and made his living in the business while Stefan was growing up.

“I picked it up and I produced hip-hop records,” he remembers. “I went to the University of Pittsburgh in 2005, and then I decided I wanted to be a music producer.”

Stefan began what would prove to be a rewarding 14-year journey in the music business, working with

a wide range of artists, including Mac Miller, Cappadonna, Kool Keith, and receiving a #1 Billboard Plaque for his work on “Pegasus” featuring Trippie Redd and Future in 2020.

Opening a New Chapter One of Stefan’s best friends is in real estate and talked with him about taking a closer look at the industry himself. Stefan agreed and started his adventure in late 2021.

From the start, Stefan has appreciated the parallels he has experienced between the music industry and real estate.

“I think the main thing that motivates me is continuing the process of becoming the best version of me that I can. Some days I feel like I’m getting close. Other days not as much,” Stefan says. “I believe life is a series of the right small choices to become the best version of yourself. It’s a constant work in progress.”

One of the happenings in Dalissa’s own life also became one of the driving forces for her deciding to try out real estate for herself. “I purchased a home in 2011 and my REALTOR® at that time didn’t tell us anything. We put an o er on a property that was $9,000 more than the listing price, and we didn’t understand why. Plus, we didn’t know we had closing costs and had to run to the bank at the closing table,” Dalissa remembers.

“The nursing process is about assessing the situation, developing interventions, and evaluating their e ectiveness,” reflected Lisa. “I was able to strategize interventions to help people achieve their goals in real estate!”

When her youngest child graduated from college in 2013, Lisa decided to step away from health care and focus solely on real estate. She had enjoyed serving in the healthcare field, and had experienced many benefits of being bi-vocational for six years, but she was ready to expand her reach as a REALTOR® and mentor others without being stretched too thin.

Intentional Balance

Intentional Balance

Lisa learned to balance both of her careers. She sold one house each month while working in Cardiac Critical Care, and later in management. In 2011 she earned her MBA.

In 2014 Lisa earned her broker’s license and even served as Broker of Record for a time. Her focus was pursuing knowledge for herself and looking for ways to motivate others to pursue knowledge. In 2015 she started teaching at Polley Associates School of Real Estate. Lisa has also been involved in various local and state REALTOR boards and committees since 2008 and continues to sit on the PA State Professional Standards Committee.

mentoring. I want clients to know what they are signing. I want agents to know how to negotiate and work through a contract. When there is an issue that needs to be dealt with through the Professional Standards Committee, I don’t ever want to take away an agent’s ability to make a living, but I do want to help them learn how to prevent issues in the future. And in the medical realm, I want nurses to learn how to care for clients and support each other during the tough times.”

Intentional Responsibility

Lisa still teaches licensing courses to new agents, leads The Risco Group at KW Main Line, mentors a number of agents, and continues to be a resource for some RN colleagues as well. She is passionate about encouraging and educating community members and preserving generational wealth.

“Any agent can sell a home,” she observed. “The real test is, can you keep the transaction together? Sometimes it may feel like you’re taking two steps back. But real estate is scientific and systematic, not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. It is an investment of yourself. And although technology is important, I love giving handwritten notes to my clients.”

Lisa has always prioritized quarterly touches and annual client holiday cards, even when she was investing her time simultaneously as a mother, nurse, REALTOR®, PAR board and committee member, and a mentor to agents and nurses. Her client base has grown so much that she sent 369 holiday cards in 2022.

People are drawn to Lisa’s e ervescent personality, and she is proud to be viewed as a “go to” person. About 75% of her business comes from referrals and repeat customers. Many of her clients have bought multiple homes through Lisa, and she is deeply honored to be selling second-generation homes. She enjoys helping people make smart decisions in real estate and is always ready to inform others of the benefits of investing in generational wealth. She is also honored to be a national agent advocate.

There are several things that are important to Lisa. Intentional servant-leadership: inspiring others through action, not just explanation. Creating intentional safeguards: things that are mutually beneficial for both agent and client. Intentionality in placing self second: Be kind to everyone and treat others like a beloved grandmother. Intentional strategy: stay in front of opportunities and opposition. For Lisa, intentional satisfaction of clients and mentees is the true goal.

“Every experience I’ve been through has brought me where I am today,” Lisa reflected. “I can be tough, but I am not hardened. I just know there is no time for excuses! Don’t tell me what you can’t do; with every deal there is something that can be accomplished. Even if an agent jumped into real estate in ‘easy’ times, they can learn strategies for long-term success. My focus is on helping clients and those I am mentoring learn to make the right move for them. That is what makes me a success as an agent, broker, committee member, family member, and mentor.”
