Hyland Hills Has a NEW LOOK!

After more than twenty years, Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District has undergone a rebranding process, and we are proud to share our new look and logo with you in this Activities Guide! You will begin to see our logo appear on all Hyland Hills facilities, vehicles, and written District communication pieces. This will be an ongoing process due to the sheer number of facilities in the Hyland Hills family, and the expected rollout will take time to complete.

Our Strategy for Continued Success Includes You!

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District has launched a process to implement a Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan aims to provide a clear vision, goals, strategy and work plan for the future of the District. It is a comprehensive tool that establishes a road map with priorities to achieve over the next 10+ years. The District’s programs and facilities will be analyzed in depth to determine whether the District is meeting the community’s recreational needs. Aging infrastructure at parks and facilities will also be evaluated. A high level of innovative, engaging public involvement throughout the entire project is expected. Updates to the Strategic Plan, and how residents can participate, can be found at the District’s website: hylandhills.org

Hyland Hills Sports Center

The District has officially named the new sports facility at Carroll Butts Park! The Hyland Hills Sports Center continues to make good progress, and, in spite of a few supply delays, is expected to debut in the summer of 2023. The surrounding community at Carroll Butts Park has been patient and helpful throughout the redevelopment process and we appreciate their consideration. We all look forward to making and enjoying great new sporting memories and good times in 2023!

Global Clean Up in Parks on Saturday, April 22

As a celebration of Earth Day, Waste Management is sponsoring “The Great Global Clean Up”. With the help and volunteer coordination of the City of Westminster, several Hyland Hills parks will benefit from volunteers sprucing up Clear Creek Valley Park, Carroll Butts Park, Valley View, Bell Roth, Sports Complex, Carstens and Camenisch Park. So, when you see the orange trash bags in the parks that day, you’ll know what’s going on! Our thanks and gratitude to all the volunteers!
