Grippa Garden Plots Clear Creek Valley Park
GRIPPA GARDENS #112721-A
The community gardening program began in 2017 at Grippa Gardens at Clear Creek Valley Park and currently we have 29 plots and four ADA accessible beds. Garden plot holders can grow their own fruits, vegetables, herbs, and annual flowers in a plot at Grippa Gardens. Amenities include a tool shed, picnic table, compost bins and individual water and hose hanger. Gardeners are asked to provide their own tools, plants, and other supplies and are expected to maintain their garden plots throughout the summer and early fall months. The plots will be available for planting April 16.
Full plot 10’ x 20’ Fee: $35
Raised Bed: 4’ x 4’ Fee: $10

YOU CAN “BEE” A POLLINATOR PROTECTOR! #412753
If you’ve always wanted to see more butterflies, have bigger harvests from your veggie garden, or just make a positive difference for the planet, pollinator habitat gardening could be for you! During this 2-hour interactive workshop, you will learn about bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while also learning how simple changes to your garden can add food, shelter, and other resources for these garden helpers. Part of the workshop will include guided hands-on practice with plant and pollinator identification, planting and pollinator garden maintenance.

DIABETES SELF-EMPOWERMENT EDUCATION
Become empowered to better control your diabetes by gaining lifelong tools and habits. Learn how you can control your blood sugar, spend less on health care, reduce diabetes symptoms, and feel better.
