After graduating with a BSBA in Economics from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, Brian joined Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo) and shortly thereafter relocated to the plateau as Vice President and later Western Area Manager for Wachovia’s Jackson, Macon and Haywood County offices. Brian has four fantastic children. He firmly believes that there is no better place to live and to raise children than on the Plateau.

Carl is a native of NE Georgia and grew up with a love of the outdoors and mountains, established by family trips and through his journey to become an Eagle Scout. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and received a BS in Industrial Management. The first segment of his career focused on construction project management and commercial banking. During the second segment of his career, he joined a family business as a third generation owner, focusing on the financial and operational management. After the sale of that business, he is finally able to focus on his true love of real estate. He has owned a second home in Highlands for 15 years and decided to move here full time. Dee Glover

A native New Yorker, Dee moved to San Diego, where she worked as a corporate secretary and supervisor for a computer engineering firm contracted by the Department of Defense (DoD). She traveled to various field offices across the US, as well as to Paris, France, and Stockholm, Sweden, to assist in various DoD projects, and setting up other company offices. Fifteen years later, Dee and her family moved to beautiful North Carolina. She has worked in the real estate “arena” for more than 10 years, and bringing to Landmark her expertise from working in a real estate law firm and the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors. Dee enjoys gardening, her pet birds, and helping people get acquainted to the beautiful mountain life.

Originally from Charlotte, Elisa graduated from the Univ. of Central Florida with a BSBA. She moved to Brevard in ‘96 with her husband Keith and daughter Kaitlan. She also has 2 sons, William and Braeden. A native of Charlotte, NC, Ken attended UNC-Chapel Hill. Ken worked with PCA Int. for nine years which was the owner/operator of the WalMart Portraits studios serving more than 3,000 WalMart stores. Ken managed their Customer Service, Communications and Wal-Mart Relations Depts. In 03, Ken started in residential RE in Charlotte with Cottingham Chalk and Assoc. From 2010 through 2012 Ken was working for WCDM Development as the exclusive sales agent for Rosewood, a luxury condo project in Charlotte. Ken joined Landmark in January 2013.

Ken comes to us with a 30 year history in hospitality management. Previously, he was the General Manager of the property management program for The Cliffs, in Travelers Rest, SC. There Ken oversaw the reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge services departments. He was responsible for more than 60 short term rentals, as well as seasonal and long term rentals. Now at Landmark Vacation Rentals, Ken works closely with our housekeeping & maintenance manager and directly oversees the reservations team. Ken helps owners identify preventative maintenance and repair issues as well as marketing their vacation rental properties.

Ivonne was born in Mexico and then her family moved to Franklin, North Carolina. Ivonne graduated from Franklin High School and loves the mountains. Since graduating from high school, Ivonne has worked at The Park on Main in various positions leading to her promotion as the Operations Supervisor – Front Desk. Ivonne is the only employee at The Park on Main that has been with the hotel since it opened in 2014. She enjoys the day-to-day operations of the hotel, but really enjoys her interaction with the guests and their pets while they are staying at the hotel. She is currently enrolled in the Future Leaders Program with Columbus Hospitality Management.

John moved to the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau in 2005 after serving 10 years in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant. John was a Surface Warfare Officer and was stationed all over the United States – he lived in Honolulu, San Diego, Orlando, Pensacola, Newport and New Orleans. John’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with Gold Stars) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with Gold Stars) as well as multiple unit and service awards. Before joining The Park on Main, John was the General Manager of The White Birch Inn in Clayton, Georgia, Operations Consultant to numerous hotels/resorts in the Florida Keys, worked in the family business (The Trash Company) in Cashiers, was the Resort Manager for Wyndham Vacation Resorts in Sapphire, North Carolina and Lake Lure, North Carolina and was the Broker/ Operations Manager for The Mountain Club of Cashiers. John has his MBA (Marketing) along with his undergraduate degree in Chemistry/Physics. He has taken numerous hotel operations and management courses over his career.
