Indeed Design Guidelines Facilitate the design process and assist project teams in making informed decisions about how offices are planned, designed, renovated and constructed. The standards outlined in this document are not intended to rigidly prescribe space standards nor specifications, but instead to offer guidance and options.

Introduction what: Introduction where: Design Guidelines

In December of 2016, a series of meetings were held with different stakeholder groups to discuss the evolution of Indeed’s workplace and brand during the past ten years; with the intent to clarify a design direction for future office growth and expansion. Indeed’s real estate strategy must continue to anticipate the dynamic needs of Indeed employees, as well as new technological advances that will enhance the way work will be done in the future… while also reinforcing the unique brand and culture that drives Indeed’s success. This document provides an updated Global Design Guideline that synthesizes input from a diverse group of leaders and employees across Indeed’s organization. The goal is to standardize around big ideas, space sizes and ratios so that more energy can be spent in the design of unique workplace elements that reflect Indeed’s local culture. Offices should have a local approach and should be designed to create a workplace experience unique to each office. Be mindful of local regulations and code compliance during the design development process. Simultaneously, offices should reflect the global Indeed brand and values and ensure that our employees thrive in both sales and engineering offices. Passionate workers make the Indeed brand a powerful engine. This is a living document that will be updated as new practices and design concepts develop. These guidelines will continue to be refined over time.

Indeed’s senior leadership team identified key factors that influence the success of the company, as well as key differentiators of the organization that bring people together. These elements can be expressed and enhanced within the design vocabulary of Indeed’s workplace, to provide a more vibrant environment that is both functional and inspiring. The focus must be on the employee experience and building a strong sense of community; a feeling of being at home. The aesthetic should be one of simplicity and cleanliness, and should reinforce Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs. Other key factors include: Indeed’s culture is not reactive… it is steadily evolving. Indeed wants to be a place where people choose to work based on the physical space, the community and the culture. Indeed wants to foster innovation and faster problem solving. Indeed wants to give employees choices in where they work, while ensuring visual connectivity to colleagues and team members.

Space Types what: Design

Indeed’s approach to planning space is based on a kit of parts. In combination, these parts provide the functionality and variety that enables the Indeed workforce. The graphic below shows what is included in the kit of parts, including the space types, typical square footage, and planning ratio (how many to plan per person). Each of these space types is explained further in the Spaces Section. Note that square footage values for large Community spaces are variable based on the head count.

*Note: Net SF (NSF) represents the size of each room or workspace only, measured within the walls of each space, not the circulation between the rooms. In order to calculate the usable of the overall floor, a circulation factor will need to be applied of approximately 35%.

Programming where:

Indeed’s approach to planning space sets out a few key metrics that should be referenced in order to ensure that spaces are efficient, functional, and meet Indeed’s goals. Following the planning ratios for each space type should yield results within range of these targets. Note that there are different targets for planning a full site (including amenities and extra support) vs. a typical office floor within a site that already has amenities. Note that all target values are approximate based on current Indeed practices, and will be refined over time.

*Note: Usable Square Footage (USF) includes all of the programmable interior space and circulation, but does not include the building core (stairs, mechanical rooms, elevators, shafts). This metric is used instead of Gross or Rentable Square Footage because it is more easily quantifiable by the design team, whereas other metrics are impacted by the landlord or base building. Rentable Square Footage varies by market but will always be higher than the USF.

Programming Template what: Design

Indeed has developed a programming template to use at the initiation of each new project. The template is intended to give the team a starting point for developing the primary space requirements. The space types, sizes, and quantities are the same as those that appear in this guidelines document, ensuring that each new project starts from the guidelines. Using the template ensures that Indeed’s goals for efficiency and functionality are met from the beginning.

The following pages contain planning guidelines for each of the space types listed below. Each space is described in two pages: an intro page containing the planning intent and general principles and a detail page showing the specific layout and furniture of each room type. Key tags on the detail pages reference construction details found in the Technical Section. Please note that dimensions and specifications are primarily relevant to US locations. Conversion to metric and compliance with local codes shall be assured by the local architect on a project by project basis.

Phone rooms are spaces that support individual work or private phone calls. These rooms are not reservable and are recommended for 30-minute time frame use. Best Practices • • •

Provide acoustic isolation from surrounding spaces. See Lighting + Acoustics Section of IT Design Standards for additional requirements. Locate Phone rooms in visible locations with glass fronts to discourage long-term use and ensure that rooms are made available to the entire office population.

Workstation Individual Team Community Support

Individual Workstations are used by all Indeed employees as their primary assigned work space. Workstations feature efficient storage and work surfaces. The placement of workstations should develop into neighborhoods which provide flexibility in heads down or collaborative work styles. Best Practices • • • • •

While it is not a current practice at Indeed, panel screens at the ends of workstation rows could be considered along major traffic aisles. Screen workstations appropriately for sightlines & acoustics adjacent to support. Workstations are located around the perimeter allowing for access to daylight and views. Workstations should be oriented to minimize circulation behind the employee’s back when seated. There should be a minimum of 7-8 feet clearance between desk rows.

Wellness room Individual Team Community Support

This room should be private, secure, and accommodating for multiple uses including nursing mothers, sick employees or short employee breaks. It should contain comfortable seating, a small table, and convenient power outlets. Best Practices • • • • • •

Refer to local regulations. In the United States it is required to provide a minimum of one per facility. Locate and configure the room for discrete entry and exit. Design with a warm residential look and feel in mind i.e. no white laminate millwork. This room may also be used as a prayer room. Design team to confirm with Indeed HR for Wellness Room requirements on each floor. Provide door access control with privacy indicator (with override access).

The configuration of the 2 Person conference room should allow both people to face the TV wall in order to engage in video conferencing but also provide enough space to allow the occupants to face each other. Distribute small meeting rooms throughout the space. Provide small meeting spaces near heads-down workstation areas for quick unscheduled use, and provide adequate acoustic isolation. The Fitness area is an amenity space that provides employees with a place to exercise on site at the Indeed facility. The space includes exercise equipment and open multi-purpose floor space for a variety of physical activities. If the Indeed location is not large enough to warrant a designated fitness area, accommodate group fitness classes such as yoga in the café node or other areas. Best Practices • • • • • •

The Fitness area should include changing and shower facilities. Lockers should be large enough to hold a backpack and/or gym bag. FACILITY SPACE SPECIFICATIONS The design and construction of each office location must comply with the building codes and supplemental requirements (ie: energy codes, accessibility guidelines, etc.) as applicable within the local jurisdiction. In addition, the Landlord’s requirements for construction methodologies and procedures must be strictly adhered to. Beyond those requirements, the following technical guidelines have been established for new construction projects to ensure uniformity of function and consistency of quality throughout Indeed’s global offices. For renovation projects that may include the expansion of an existing facility, consideration must be given to matching the existing construction standards of adjacent areas to remain. Coordinate also with detailed written construction specifications in compliance with CSI or similar formatting as regionally standardized.

1. DRYWALL CONSTRUCTION • Partitions shall be full height constructed of 3 5/8” metal studs with one layer of 5/8” gypsum board on both sides with batt insulation unless noted otherwise. • Construction shall comply with ASTM C645-83, utilizing twenty (20) gauge, screw type “Cee” studs, maximum spacing shall be sixteen (16) inches on center. Studs for all demising wall partitions shall extend to structure above/slab to slab. • Per code, provide appropriate thickness of gypsum board where required to achieve required fire rating for demising partitions and interior exit corridors. • Provide water resistant type gypsum board in all toilets, pantries, and similar spaces. Provide cement board at all tiled restroom walls. • Stapling of trim or gypsum board shall not be permitted. Plastic edge trim shall not be permitted. • Provide fiberglass insulation in the following wall assemblies for sound acoustics: conference rooms, training rooms, assembly areas, kitchenettes, pantries, copy rooms, print rooms, and other space as deemed necessary. • Exterior walls to be furred and insulated, where required by project scope. 2. PAINTING • Two (2) coats (one coat primer, one coat paint) of latex paint on drywall, plaster, and exposed masonry and concrete surfaces. Provide back filler for masonry. • Two (2) coat application of alkyd enamel on hollow and ferrous metals and solid wood trim.

3. CARPETING • Carpeting shall be carpet tiles: • Installation: a. Trowelable Leveling and Patching Compounds: Latex-modified, hydraulic-cement-based formulation provided or recommended by carpet tile manufacturer. b. Adhesives: Water-resistant, mildew-resistant, nonstaining, pressure-sensitive type to suit products and subfloor conditions indicated, that complies with flammability requirements for installed carpet tile and is recommended by carpet tile manufacturer for releasable installation. Adhesives shall comply with the testing and product requirements of the California Department of Health Services’ “Standard Practice for the Testing of Volatile Organic Emissions from Various Sources Using Small-Scale Environmental Chambers.” • Adhesives shall have a VOC content of 50 g/L or less when calculated according to 40 CFR 59, Subpart D (EPA Method 24). c. Metal Edge/Transition Strips: Extruded aluminum with mill finish of profile and width shown, of height required to protect exposed edge of carpet, and of maximum lengths to minimize running joints.

4. HARD-SURFACE FLOORING • Where used, ceramic floor tile shall be set on latex mortar setting bed. Wall tile shall be installed by thin set on masonry and organic adhesive on drywall. • Grout shall be anti-bacterial and acid resistant, Hydroment Ceramic Tile Grout; grout should not be light in color. 5. HOLLOW METAL DOOR FRAMES • Metal frames shall be cold-rolled steel of commercial grade sixteen (16) gauge minimum. All frames shall be fitted with concealed fasteners, and 5/8” high integral stops. Frames shall be full seam and face welded and ground smooth; no knock down frames shall be acceptable. • Provide UL label frames at fire rated openings. • Provide all necessary hardware reinforcement, twelve (12) gauge except hinge and pivot reinforcements seven (7) gauge; door silencers, anchors, and all other accessories for a complete installation. 7. GLASS DOORS The following specifications apply where doors are visible to public lobbies and corridors. • Doors may be either “frameless” with top and bottom shoes, or of “narrow stile” tubular construction. • Trim and accessories shall be compatible with the size and weight of the selected doors and match color/finish of glass office front system. • Glazing shall be 1/2” minimum tempered glass for frameless doors, and 1/2” minimum tempered or laminated safety glass for narrow stile doors. • For interior glass doors and demountable walls, refer to Section 1.6 for product information and details.

8. FINISHED HARDWARE • Badge readers can be found in the following doors: mother’s room, vestibules, IT Help Desk, Executive Board rooms, MDF/IDF, Facility/Help Desk Storage Closets etc, stairwell entries, and lobby areas. Badge readers are to be installed at the required ADA height of four (4) feet. All badge readers are POE and their relevant cables terminate into that floors Brivo Panel located in either the MDF or IDF. Cabling for these readers is 446100-4 Elemen Comp Cable (white jacket). All other doors are assumed unlocked unless otherwise specified.

Lock cylinders throughout premises shall be by manufacturer as approved by building management, and shall be master keyed as directed by building management. Refer to Section 7 Security Guidelines for additional information and requirements. Door hardware locksets and latch sets shall be combination mortised type units. Trim shall be lever handles to conform to ADA requirements, and local codes. Hinges shall be full mortise type. Ball bearing hinges shall be provided on doors over 3’-6” width, and on doors having closers. Provide 1-1/2 pr. hinges per doors for 7’-0” high doors and 2 pr. hinges for 8’-0” high door.

9. ACOUSTICAL TILE CEILINGS • Mineral Fiber Acoustic Ceiling: Provide mineral fiber acoustic board made by Armstrong or equal. Sizes can vary based on design intent. • Ceiling Suspension Material: Comply with ASTM C635 as applicable. Coordinate with other work supported by or penetrating through ceilings, including light fixtures, HVAC equipment, and partition system, if any. Structural Class: Intermediate duty system. • Trim and Accessories: Provide manufacturer’s printed instructions, governing regulations, fire resistance rating and industry standards. • Install materials in accordance with manufacturer’s printed instructions, governing regulations, fire resistance rating and industry standards. • Fire-resistant ratings to meet local, state and/or country codes. 10. LIGHTING FIXTURES • Specialty lighting may be provided in the following areas: lobby, conference rooms, training rooms, phonebooths, reception, and other rooms. • Lighting shall be controlled by daylight/occupancy sensors, occupancy sensors, and/or local switching as required.

11. HVAC • Provide all labor, materials, engineering, etc. for a complete installation as required for the facility as shown on the drawings. Work will be in strict accordance with all applicable codes and local requirements. • The scope is intended to describe only the principal items required for the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning of the facility. Equipment arrangement, duct distribution, specific operating characteristics, and code requirements shall be determined by the subcontractor and incorporated in the design to satisfy all specified criteria. • Provide ventilation and / or air conditioning as required for the electrical and telephone rooms. • Dedicated air conditioning systems will be required for computer rooms. Sizing of HVAC equipment to be determined by MEP engineer, based on room size and equipment requirements. • The toilet exhaust system shall be sized for a minimum of 2 cfm per square foot with transfers or supply air as required per code. • The work shall be inspected and approved by governing authorities. • The system shall be completely tested and balanced as necessary for proper system operation. Design Criteria: • In general, refer to local, state, or country standards for design conditions, occupant loads, and ventilation requirements. • Indoor Conditions to meet building and local code requirements. • Cooling Load Design Criteria to meet building and local code requirements. • VAV boxes are to be specified on the basis of one box per 800 square feet for exterior zones and 1600 square feet for interior zones (not more than 1200 square feet per zone average). • Conditions shall be in compliance with all local codes and may vary based upon area of country. The above HVAC specification would typically apply to a new facility. If this were a space being improved in an existing building, the HVAC would be a modification only. Install all terminal units, ductwork, diffusers, returns, controls, etc. for a complete operating system per all applicable codes and standards. System shall be tested and balanced for proper airflows and operation. The quality of the system shall be building standard or better. Air returns not adjacent to door.

12. ELECTRICAL • Electrical installation shall conform to present day practices, electrical code requirements, and industry standards. • Electrical work shall include everything essential for a complete, balanced electrical system in satisfactory operating order. • Electrical Power - 5.0 volt/amps per rentable square foot at 480/277 volts shall be designed for lighting and appliance use and for the installation of supplemental air conditioning. Panels shall be installed within leasehold space, preferably in the telecom / IT closet. • Exit lights shall be installed per code. All exit lights are to be lighted clear lens. • Provisions for emergency power shall be provided via the landlord. • Fire alarm system shall meet building and local code requirements. • Refer also to furniture guidelines for locations and qualities of power/data at workstations. 13. VOICE / DATA CABLING • See Indeed Network Design Guidelines.

14. GENERAL PLUMBING/FIRE PROTECTION • Planned installation of new work and connections shall ensure minimum interference with regular operation of existing facilities. All shut-downs shall be made at such times as will not interfere with regular operation of existing facilities and shall require written approval of the Landlord. To ensure continuous operation, contractor will make necessary temporary connections between new and existing work. • All existing areas and areas scheduled to remain that are damaged during demolition, shall be patched, repaired, and finished. • All piping, fittings, valves, materials, etc. to be the same type and quality as called for in the base building specifications. Design shall be coordinated with all other trades and existing conditions of the site to maintain required ceiling heights and space conditions. All materials, fixtures, equipment, services, hangers, supports, labor, and tests necessary for complete execution of the work must be in accordance with the Local and State Building Code and Fire Insurance Company.

15 PLUMBING • All plumbing fixtures and model numbers shall be of the water-saving type and approved in accordance with the local Building Codes. • Individual point of use electric water heaters (where required) shall be utilized in kitchenettes/break rooms for dishwashers. • Wet column locations and drain lines shall be a primary design consideration for proposed plumbing locations.

16. FIRE / SPRINKLER PROTECTION • Sprinkler heads in finished spaces shall be based on building standard and finish – if not building specified, they should be reliable concealer G1 FM approved. The floors will be served with sprinkler heads at a design of one (1) sprinkler head per 180 rentable square feet, subject to approval by Factory Mutual Standard. Revisions to the sprinkler system may be required due to partition or lighting fixture layout. • All shop drawings and hydraulic calculations must be approved before any installation work is commenced. • Design to provide portable fire extinguishers and cabinets per code. • Fire stopping shall be provided and installed to close concealed draft openings. Fire stopping shall form an effective barrier between rooms and floor levels. 17 MILLWORK • Millwork shall conform to for “Premium Grade” construction. 18. LIFE SAFETY 19. Lighting Strategies 1. Place workstations in proximity to windows. 75% of workstations should be within 25 ft of an atrium or window; 95% of workstations within 41 ft of an atrium or window. 2. Provide task lighting when appropriate. If ambient lighting is below 300 lux, specify task lights that provide 300 to 500 lux at the work surface. 3. Use strategies at the windows to reduce solar glare. For glazing below 7’, either employ interior shades/blinds that are operable or automatic, an external shading system, or electrotonic glass that reduces transmissivity by 90% or more. For glazing above 7’, employ a strategy listed above, or use interior light shelves or a film of micro-mirrors to reflect sunlight toward the ceiling. 4. Orient workstations to avoid glare on computer screens. All computer screens at desks located within 15 ft of windows should be oriented within a 20º angle perpendicular to the plane of the window. 5. Shield electric lights to reduce glare, and do not aim them directly at computer screens. 6. Select light colored finishes to reflect light and create an overall brighter interior as opposed to dark-colored finishes that absorb light. 7. Lighting should automatically dim in response to daylight. 8. Lighting should automatically dim when space is unoccupied. 9. Walls should have the appropriate amount of window area, and those windows should transmit the appropriate amount of sunlight. Window-wall ratio should be between 20% and 60%. All glazing higher than 7’ from the floor should have a visible transmittance (VT) of 60% or greater. All glazing below 7’ from the floor should have a visible transmittance (VT) of 50% or greater. 10. Ensure electric lighting contributes to accurate portrayal of colors. Specify that all electric lights have a Color Rendering Index Ra (Avg. R1 through R8) of 80 or higher and Color Rendering Index R9 of 50 or higher.

Lighting in the Open Workstation Area Visual comfort plays a major role in individuals’ ability to complete job tasks. This means that lighting should be considered when designing a work are according to ergonomic principles. The goal is to prevent or reduce glare. There are two types of glare – direct glare is caused by intensely bright light sources, such as the sun shining in windows and bright light fixtures shining down from the ceiling; reflected glare includes bright spots that are caused when light reflects on a computer monitor or work surface. Avoid using bright overhead lighting, which can cause shadows along with direct and reflected glare. To improve visual comfort and reduce glare, use any of these effective measures: • • • • •

Provide indirect lighting Place good diffusers on overhead lights Lower the general level of light in the work area, and provide task lighting Add shades to windows Tilt or move the monitor to avoid glare; adjust the monitor controls for brightness and contrast

Acoustic Strategies 1. Consider exterior noise intrusion: Research shows that loud or repetitive exterior noises can be a source of stress and detrimental to health. When choosing a site to build on, or more commonly, lease, leaders should be hesitant to choose a location in which the average interior sound pressure level from outside noise exceeds 50 dBA. 2. Consider the sound level of mechanical systems in the building: Meet the noise criteria (NC) limits of each space type: • Open workspaces - NC maximum of 40 • Enclosed offices - NC maximum of 35 • Conference rooms - NC maximum of 30 (25 recommended) 3. Plan for acoustic zones: Use an acoustic plan to identify loud and quiet zones, separating heads down areas from high traffic areas. 4. Incorporate mobile technology: headsets and wireless technology enable quick relocation between loud and quiet zones. 5. Employ change management: encourage the use of the right space for the right function. 6. Use sound masking: 45-48 dBA for open workspaces and 40-42 dBA for enclosed offices. 7. Specify acoustic coverings for ceilings and walls using appropriate Noise Reduction Coefficients: • Open workspace ceilings - NRC minimum of 0.9 • Conference room ceilings - NRC minimum of 0.8 on at least 50% of surfaces • Open workspace walls - NRC minimum of 0.8 on at least 25% of surfaces • Enclosed office/conference room walls - NRC minimum of 0.8 on at least 25% 8. Interior partition walls should be full height and meet Noise Isolation Class (NIC) minimums: • Enclosed offices - NIC minimum of 35 when a sound masking system is present; NIC minimum of 40 when no sound masking system is present • Conference rooms - NIC minimum of 53 on walls 9. Interior wall construction should reduce air gaps by properly sealing all acoustically rated partitions at the top and bottom tracks, staggering all gypsum board seams, and packing and sealing all penetrations through the wall. 10. This document presents the overall indeed Audio/Visual Design Standards Document. The purpose of this document is to acquaint design teams and construction professionals with the basic elements of indeed’s preferred Audio/Visual systems, and to guide the design teams toward a consistent Audio/Visual deployment throughout all indeed Campuses. This will result in easy to use, high quality, reliable A/V throughout all renovation and new building projects. Audio/Visual deployments require a well-coordinated, cohesive effort between the architects, electrical engineers, cabling contractors, network professionals, and A/V integrators, as each is dependent on others to deliver a fully functional room. This is to detail the elements, and provide installation and design guidelines. 2. ROOM DEFINITION The purpose of this section is to define specific room type naming and descriptions for use by the Architect, Real Estate, IT, and AV Integrator. This will establish a common nomenclature for use by the project team for all room referencing.

2.1 Phone Booth/Room Phone Booths are defined as a small collaboration space with a door, typically for 1-2 people to collaborate for a limited time. The Phone room will have a work surface sufficient for up to 1-2 people, USB 5v power, and an IP phone with builtin speakerphone, and a duplex power outlet with USB receptacles. These spaces are open access, no room reservation required. User can use laptop for video conference.

2.2 Video Conference Rooms Conference Rooms are defined as a video conference meeting space for 4 to 12 people. The room is expected to be used only for the duration of a meeting and should be scheduled via the IT room reservation system. The Conference Room will have either a couch and/or stationary chairs, a table sufficiently sized for room occupants with a cut-in table box for Magsafe Macbook charger and IT connectivity. The room will have an IP Phone with built-in speakerphone, a separate speaker phone for video conference audio, a “prosumer” USB camera, dual or single Wall-mounted displays (depending on room size), Whiteboard, and a Mac-Mini with wireless keyboard and mouse for collaboration applications (Google Hangouts). These spaces are reservable and there shall be a iPad-mini mounted outside of the room connected to the IT room reservation system. Rooms must have acoustic treatment - ceiling tiles, wall panels, carpeting Must be inventory tagged, logged in Oomnitza along with the associated PO: • Mac Mini • Camera • TVs • Audio units (Phoenix, ClearOne, BiAmp, etc) • Anything over $500 Physically secured under the desk: • Magsafe charger block (so it can’t be easily removed from the room) iPad mount requirements: • Surface mount only (recessed mounts may cause heat issues) Post-install tasks: • Each conference room Mac Mini should be enabled with Nagios monitoring • Each conference room Mac Mini should have the audio settings script installed and tested

2.3 Training Rooms Training Rooms are defined as a conference meeting space that can accommodate 12 to 40 people with chairs and table workspaces. These spaces are primarily used for training purposes and may also serve as backfill for the Presentation Spaces. Sites that are designed with multiple Training Rooms, the First room should have dual projectors, locate the rooms adjacent to each other and have a retractable partition wall to join the Training Rooms together for larger audience use. Each room will be fitted with a movable podium at the front of the room. The podium should be functional from both the left and right side of the room. The AV equipment for each room typically consists of one single motorized large screen and one high-lumen projector, Mac-mini, Whiteboard, wireless mics, “prosumer” video cameras, mixing boards, audio amplification, wall mounted touch panel and speakers. Wall mounted AV box to include HDMI input plate (If First room, or primary Room add one HDMI output plate at same location) will route video signal route back to IDF for local source. Also to include 2 audio inputs. Where possible limit the amount of equipment in the room and the footprint of the wall mounted cabinet needed to secure the equipment, vertical mounting of equipment in a wall mounted secure cabinet is preferred. These spaces will also tie into the AV switching gear in the IDF that serves this space. These rooms are reserved via the Office Management team. Crestron programming to broadcast to Wonkavisions outside the room, site dependent. See Crestron programming document. Include acoustic treatments - ceiling, walls, floors

2.4 Interview Rooms Interview Rooms are defined as a video conference meeting space for 1 to 4 people. The room is expected to be used only for the duration of a meeting and should be scheduled via the IT room reservation system. The Interview Room will have a table sufficiently sized for room occupants and be located in the middle or up against the wall of the room. The room will have an IP Phone with built-in speakerphone, a separate speaker phone for video conference audio, a “prosumer” USB camera, single Wall-mounted display, a Whiteboard, and a Mac-Mini with wireless keyboard and mouse for collaboration applications (Google Hangouts). These spaces are reservable and there shall be an iPad-mini mounted outside of the room connected to the IT room reservation system.

2.5 Presentation Spaces Presentation Spaces are defined as the large gathering spaces for quarterly meetings and large presentations. These spaces are typically in the large kitchen areas or large commons areas in some campuses. The AV equipment typically consists of multiple large screens (Dual 80” or Drop Down Projectors) (motorized) and high-lumen projectors. Wireless mics, “Vaddio/Logitech PTZ” video cameras, mixing boards, audio amplification and speakers. These spaces will also tie into the AV switching gear in the IDF that serves this space. Wall mounted Crestron Panels along with HDMI input plates and one HDMI output plate at same location will route video signal route back to IDF for local source. In the front of the room where a podium is located there will be a wall plate along with an HDMI input which routes back the audio/video mixer in the back of the room. The podium will have a 25FT umbilical which allows the HDMI and other cables to be secured from the wall plate to inside the podium. These rooms will usually utilize Google Hangouts along with handheld mics/lapels but should also accommodate Rental equipment for global video conferences. These rooms are reserved via the Office Management team.

2.6 Executive Conference Room Executive Conference Rooms are defined as the large meeting rooms for private meetings and presentations. The AV equipment typically consists of one large CUSTOM table, (coordinate with Architect and Real Estate group), Table or ceiling mics, mac mini, “prosumer” video cameras, DSP, touch panel, (optional Cable TV), local table source, audio amplification and ceiling speakers. The DSP will function as the room IP Phone and room mixer. This space may require control & integration with lighting and window shade systems. A credenza should be utilized in the room for the Local equipment rack, adequate cooling & space is required. These spaces will also tie into the AV switching gear in the IDF that serves this space. These rooms will usually utilize Google Hangouts for global video conferences. These rooms are reserved via the Office Management team. 2.7 Fitness Center (Gym / Yoga) Fitness Centers contain exercise equipment (gym) and Yoga rooms. Gym should have displays, room amplification, speakers, local Cable TV, local cable tv should be able to be distributed to wonkavision TVs. The Yoga room should not have video, but does require a local audio input and touch panel for control. There should be some sort of shelf/dock for audio device to rest and charge. Include a 5VDC USB socket within 1 foot of shelf.

2.8 Barista The Barista bar should have displays, room amplification, speakers, local Cable TV. Local Audio input plate should be provided in the space. The space be used for spill over and receiving Wonka or presentations. 2.9 Mothers Room The mother’s room should have data and local audio input via Bluetooth. The room should have a device that provides ambient noise (sound spa). No local devices provided by IT.

2.10 Reception The Receptionist desks is to have a counter suitable for an iPad/LobbyConnect device. The iPad will allow visitors/guests to check-in and have the Indeed Employee notified. A seating area next to the receptionist desk for guests to wait will be needed. In this area there should be a 55”-60” TV displaying Indeed Digital Signage. Music can also be playing overhead provided by an integrated Crestron system. A crestron touch panel will be behind the receptionist desk allowing them to control the music feed, sound levels and what’s displayed on the receptionist TV. Include CATV in the reception lobby with Crestron panel control. Include separate MacMini for Lobby “Welcome” message content and streming function. 2.11 Gaming Room A Gaming space should be designated near the IT Support space/lounge. This area will normally consist of a wall mounted 55-65” TV which will have HDMI input/outputs. The HDMI will feed the back of the TV to a wall plate 3 feet under the TV into a real estate supplied credenza. The credenza will house the gaming system used by the local Indeeders. 2.12 IT Support Help Desk Kiosk In sites which are larger than 200 people there will be a need for a dedicated IT Support Help Desk, Kiosk. A walk up counter along with seating for 2 or more technicians will be needed. Inside the IT Support Help Desk area there should be a centered table with several chairs. On the table a minimum of four or more power/data ports are required. On an adjacent wall an 80” TV or smaller should be mounted for video conference capabilities. Surrounding the centered table should also be cabinets which can support heavy equipment storage. The cabinets should be apple-store esk and have a glossy appearance. Designs will change based off of site size and location. 2.13 IT Support Staging/Storage Area Storage of onsite IT equipment will be needed for all sites. Shelving should be heavy duty and designed to hold over 100 lbs worth of equipment. Cabinets should also be considered. Dependent on site size and location designs will change. Storage areas may also contain a staging zone for IT Support. Staging includes a countertop/shelf which has power/data for technicians to image machines. Chairs will also be needed for each imaging station. Optional video equipment for hangouts can be added if space allows it. 2.14 Break Area Break area should have 50” display for CATV and WonkaVision content.

The purpose of this section is to define specific digital signage type names and equipment that will be used at the Indeed sites, this naming should also be used by the Architect, Real Estate, IT and AV Integrator. This will establish a common nomenclature for use by the project team for IT Digital Signage referencing.

3.1 WonkaVision WonkaVision displays are set in all common areas and open office spaces. The content is driven by the Indeed marketing department and physically connected via Mac minis. There should be one Mac mini configured per floor for this purpose, provided Crestron is being used to manage. These are typically 48-75-inch displays (specific sizes specified per site). The displays are wall mounted or pole mounted. All WonkaVision displays are centrally managed per floor via Crestron touchpanel controllers for content as well as function control such as on/off, volume/mute.

3.2 Sales Floors & Sales Gongs Sales Floors & Sales Gongs displays (typically 50-inch wall-mounted or ceiling pole) are part of WonkaVision for content and control. Remote Desktop or local keyboard/touch screen should be used to connect to the Mac Mini behind the designated display for content changes. The location of the virtual gong should be location near physical Gong (Architect coordinated). The content includes a photo of each sales person in that area. When they close a sale, they can select their picture and a ten second clip of their chosen song plays across the sales floor via display speakers. Floor ceiling speaker zoning or grouping is also needed with each Sales Gong.

RESPONSIBILITY ASSIGNMENT The purpose of this section is to define the teams and responsibilities for the AV turnkey implementation. 4.1 AV integrator Responsibilities: 4.1.1 Pre-Construction • Coordination with Indeed IT teams to define AV requirements prior to starting design. • Conducting design review sessions with Indeed IT teams prior to final design document submittals to Architect • Providing Indeed IT team with construction drawings, parts list, and unit pricing for parts and labor for all AV equipment for the implementation. • Coordination with Architect, MEP and Real Estate teams for integrating all AV requirements (power, conduit, pathways, spaces, environmental, etc) into the construction documents. 4.1.2 Implementation • Mounting the display(s) to the wall or cart. • Connecting the Mac Mini system to the display(s). • Connecting the camera, mic(s), keypads and trackpad. • Placing and Connecting IP Phone. • Placing and Connecting conference speaker Phone. • Mounting and Connecting iPad mini 2. • Professional concealment/dressing of associated cables. • Proper activation and configuration of network connection(s). • Connecting and fishing cables through hollow walls/floors/ceilings or existing conduit. • Velcro remote control (TV and Camera) to back of display) • Creating project implementation schedule that is coordinated with the GC/CM construction schedule and Real Estate furniture schedule. • Daily clean-up of related installation area. • Turnkey AV System implementation/operation including, installation, configuration, and testing of the audio-video system for operation. • Documenting all change requests and submitting to Indeed IT (and GC where applicable) for approval. • Use Indeed check off list for final room verification. 4.1.3 Post-Construction • End user training. • As-Built documentation booklet - including drawings, parts list, and serial numbers. • Owner’s manuals. • System warranty. The following Network Design content was compiled from the Network Design Standards V.1 2016, to provide detailed requirements for products and functional components within the Indeed workplace. INTRODUCTION This section presents the overall Indeed Facilities Design Standards Document. The purpose of this section is to acquaint design teams and construction professionals with the basic elements of Indeed’s room, construction, and cabling requirements, and to guide the design teams toward a consistent deployment throughout all Indeed Campuses. This will result in easy to use, high quality, reliable communication throughout all renovation and new building projects. Technology deployments require a well-coordinated, cohesive effort between the architects, electrical engineers, cabling contractors, network professionals, and integrators, as each is dependent on others to deliver a fully functional facility. This is to detail the elements, and provide installation and design guidelines. This standard provides guidelines for Indeed sites, room layouts, parts, equipment specifications, for the room types listed below. Any deviation from this standard must be approved and coordinated with the Indeed IT-Sys teams. 1. MDF REQUIREMENTS Larger buildings that are designated as an IT distribution point (this will be determined by the IT-Sys team per project) and new campuses will require a separate Main Distribution Frame to house local servers, controllers for digital signage, and telecommunications equipment. The construction must conform to the current ANSI/TIA 569 Standard for Commercial Building Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces. • • • • • •

The MDF should be at least 120 sq. ft. (10x12) in size, as geometrically square as possible, and located toward the center or core of the building structure. The room should be placed on the ground floor whenever possible due to equipment access and floor loading considerations. Avoid placing the Main Distribution Frame next to outside walls, elevator shafts, and/or internal fixed building walls. All perimeter walls shall be full height (deck-to-deck), 1-hour rated construction, fire sealed, and sealed to prevent chemical fire suppression leaks. The ceiling height should be at least 9 feet - 6 inches from finished floor surface. A primary 6 feet - 0 inches wide double door will be required for access to the hallway closest to the loading dock. All other door entrances should be at least 4 feet - 0 inches wide. There should be no water or plumbing distribution piping routed through the ceiling, room, walls, or plenum. There should not be any water related areas (coffee/break rooms, restrooms, etc.) above or adjacent to the MDF footprint.

1.1. MDF Power Requirements • Estimated power load should be 100KVA/80KW for the entire room. (This figure is based on about 100 watts per square foot to support high density computing.) • The power shall be overhead mounted to the ladder rack above the cabinets and racks. • All equipment outlets require “N+1” UPS backup (at least 15 minutes of battery backup) in the room • All UPS systems shall connect to the emergency generator system (if applicable) • Grounding and Bonding is required in accordance to the current ANSI/TIA 569 Standard for Commercial Building 1.2. MDF Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces • This will require a ground bus connection to the main Telecommunications Ground Bus. • An eight-lug grounding bar, attached to the main ground bus via a 6-awg copper cable, provided by the General Contractor. 1.3. MDF HVAC Requirements • 24-hour HVAC at an estimated 25-ton load, delivered via two 15-ton systems at either end of the room. • HVAC and power loads should be at least 100 watts per square foot to support high density computing. • HVAC must be connected to the room UPS and Emergency Generator System (if available). 1.4. MDF Room Safety • The Main Distribution Frame should be finished with static dissipative vinyl composition tile (VCT) or sealed concrete. • Electronic access control systems shall be employed via access card technology at each entry door for security purposes. • Surveillance cameras are required at the entry points of the interior of the room. • MDF Distribution Frame should have at least a pre-action fire suppression system. • An Emergency Power Off (EPO) switch should be installed in the MDF (only if required by code). • If required, the EPO should be mounted to the far left of the exit door and shielded by a plastic cover to prevent inadvertent activation. 1.5. MDF Cabling Access and Pathways • Each MDF will require four (4) four-inch sleeves with collars where needed for horizontal cable distribution. (To be specified per project) • Each MDF will require at least three (3) four-inch floor cores, with sleeves, for vertical backbone cable distribution. To be specified per project. • Cable tray shall be provided for at least 20 feet leaving the MDF. • A single four-inch core should also be provided in the mechanical or electrical room on each floor for a secondary fiber route from the Main Distribution Frame. 2. IDF REQUIREMENTS Critical cabling, IP network, and A/V components will be housed in IDF situated throughout the space. These IDFs will house equipment for voice and data networks, as well as, security, audio/visual systems, overhead paging, and building automation systems. The construction must conform to the current ANSI/TIA 569 Standards for Commercial Building Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces. 2.1. IDF Dimensions and Locations • Every floor in each campus facility should have at least one IDF per 20,000 square feet of useable space. • All rooms should stack vertically within the building. • Each IDF should be centrally located, square in shape. Each IDF should be at least 110 sq. ft. in size (10 feet x 11 feet). No closet should be more than 260 feet from the most distant cable run assuming corridor cable routing. The doors should be a minimum of 30 inches in width. There should be no water or plumbing distribution piping routed through the ceiling, room, walls, or plenum. There shall not be any plumbing areas (coffee/break rooms, restrooms, etc.) above or adjacent to the IDF footprint. All walls should be covered with 1-inch plywood and painted with flame retardant paint. Lay in ceiling is neither required, nor recommended in the IDF.

2.2. IDF Power Requirements • An estimated power load of 7kVA/5.6kW per room will be required, however the design teams should carefully monitor systems selected and amend this projection as needed. • The power will be divided into circuits that are supported by the UPS/generator, and generator only. When the UPS is under maintenance, equipment will be supported in the IDF with no interruption. • Each IDF will require multiple 208vac circuits above the equipment racks and at least (4) 120vac 20amp ISO circuits on the walls. • Grounding and Bonding is required in accordance to the current ANSI/TIA 569 Standard for Commercial Building Telecommunications Pathways and Spaces. • This will require a ground bus connection to the main Telecommunications Ground Bus. • An eight-lug grounding bar, attached to the main ground bus via a 6-awg copper cable, provided by the General Contractor. 2.3. IDF HVAC Requirements • Each IDF will require a 24x7 HVAC capable of dissipating approximately 24,000 BTU/hour or 2 tons. • The HVAC systems in the IDF should be on the emergency generator. 2.4. IDF Room Safety • The IDF should be finished with static dissipative vinyl composition tile (VCT) or sealed concrete. • f code requires fire suppression, the water heads should be high temperature heads, and no water head or pipe should be positioned above the equipment racks. • At a minimum, each IDF should be secured with a key. • Electronic access control systems are recommended via access card technology at each entry door for security purposes. • A surveillance camera is required at each entry door. • All walls should be painted with flame retardant paint (White).

3. TELCO DEMARCATION ROOMS (IF REQUIRED IN NEW CONSTRUCTION) This room provides for the distribution of networking and telecommunication services throughout each campus. These rooms have similar amenities as a typical IDF. Sometimes the D-Marc end room is an adjunct to the MDF or an IDF, where a separate room is generally not required. Each D-Marc room should be designed based upon the following criterion: 3.1. Dimensions and Locations • Room should be located as close to the Main Distribution Frame as possible. • Each D-Marc should be at least 200 sq. ft. in size. • A primary 6 feet - 0-inch double door will be required for access to the hallway closest to the loading dock. • There should be no water or plumbing distribution piping routed through the ceiling, room, walls, or plenum. • There should not be any water related areas (coffee/break rooms, restrooms, etc.) above or adjacent to the Main Distribution Frame footprint. • All walls should be covered with 3/4-inch plywood and painted with flame retardant paint. • Lay in ceiling is neither required, nor recommended. All walls should go deck-to-deck. 3.2. D-Marc Power Requirements • An estimated power load of 20kVA/16KW per room will be required, however the design teams should carefully monitor systems selected and amend this projection as needed. • The power will be supported by the Central UPS system, backed by the Emergency Generator system. • Each Technology Room will require multiple 208vac circuits above the equipment racks and at least (4) four 120vac 20amp ISO circuits on the walls. 4. BUILDING PATHWAYS AND ACCESS FOR CABLING Building pathways are defined as clear and un-obstructed conduits or cable trays for routing cabling into and within a facility. 4.1. Conduit Requirements (Main Distribution Frame) • Indeed recommends that each facility have at least two sets of four (4) four-inch conduits routed from the Main Distribution Frame to manholes in the utility easements. • Each set of conduits should have at least one 4-inch conduit clear for routing large pair counts of copper cable, and the other conduits should have three – 1 ¼-inch inter-ducts installed in them for fiber and CATV coaxial cable paths. • Each set of conduits should exit the facility at least 100 feet in separation and preferably on opposite sides of the facility. • These conduits are primarily for routing telecommunications services into the facility from the Telecommunications providers. 4.2. Conduit Requirements (Future Expansion) • Additional four inch conduits be stubbed out of each campus facility for future buildings and wireless connectivity in open areas of the campus such as parking lots. 4.3. Conduit Requirements (IDFs) • Each IDF should have two clear paths to the Main Distribution Frame to route redundant fiber risers to each IDF. 4.4. Conduit Requirements (Wall and Floor Outlets) • Each wall outlet that is accessible by an open ceiling will only require a “ring and string” single-gang opening. • All wall outlets that are not accessible by an open ceiling to include all wall phone outlets require at least a 1-1/2-inch conduit to accessible ceiling with a double-gang back box and a single-gang reducer. • All Presentation Areas should have a 1-1/2-inch conduit from the Podium to the overhead projector and/or to the plenum for A/V switch connections in the IDF. Verify routing per A/V designs. • Floor outlet locations should be capable of supporting at least four cables. • A one-inch conduit from the floor outlet location should be routed to the closest wall then to the plenum space for overhead routing. • The most common in-floor outlets used with high-end cable systems are the Walker RC4 Flush Quad poke-thru and the Hubbell PT4XBRS poke-thru.

WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS 6.1. 802.11x Wireless • Initial estimate - One access point should be placed every 1,000 square feet. • Paper survey is required as part of wireless design - refer to Networking team • Two Category 6a cables will be pulled to each Wireless Access Point (WAP) location. • Each Wireless Access Point (WAP) location shall have two data cables installed and terminated to a single-port, surface mount box for each cable. • Leave a 20 foot ‘figure-8’ service loop in the plenum for each cable. 7. INTRODUCTION The goal of this document is to advise the specifications of Indeed’s security standards. This document is meant to be given to architects, general contractors, integrators, and Indeed IT employees to understand the roles, responsibilities, and hardware standards of each build. 2. Brivo Panel/Cabling Requirements • Floor badge readers that terminate into the Brivo box utilize the following cable type: 446100-4 ELEM COMP CABLE WHITE JACKET • Cables should be protected in a conduit and only exposed at point of entry to the enclosure box (or as local code requires). • Single 18 Gauge 4 Conductor wire needs to be pulled from access control system to the closest Fire Alarm Relay. Fire alarm vendor will need to land these wires in the appropriate location in their relay and disclose if the relay should be programed as normally open or normally closed. 4.3. Port Requirements • Each Brivo box, regardless of size, needs one port. Each Exacqvision system needs two ports, plus one per camera. 5. BADGE READER REQUIREMENTS Badge readers can be found in the following doors: vestibules, IT Help Desk, Executive Board rooms, MDF/IDF, Facility/ Help Desk Storage Closets etc, stairwell entries, and lobby areas. Badge readers are to be installed at the required ADA height of four (4) feet. All badge readers are POE and their relevant cables terminate into that floors Brivo Panel located in either the MDF or IDF. Cabling for these readers is 446100-4 Elemen Comp Cable (white jacket).

6. DOOR LOCKING HARDWARE Depending on door hardware there are 3 options for locking hardware (in order of preference): 1. Electrified Handset 2. Electric Strike 3. Magnetic Locks This hardware is to be specified by the architect and provided/installed by the general contractor. See diagrams and plans in below 3 drawings: Electrified Handset, Electrified Strike, Magnetic Locks. For Mother’s Rooms, we require both a privacy function latchset as well as a electrified door handle/strike. The intent is so the door is locked via a badge reader at all times, and when a user enters the room the deadbolt/latchset will lock from the inside to ensure no interruptions from a badge read.

7. EXITING DOOR HARDWARE When anyone is walking towards a locked door from inside the office it can unlock in three different ways: 1. Push-bar 2. Exit push-button 3. Motion sensor unlock This door hardware is defined and supplied by the architect and general contractor. The exit buttons and motion sensors are supplied by the security integrator. 8. DURESS BUTTON A single ½ inch EMT conduit run with pull string from nearest IDF to underneath reception desk for duress button. This is to be supplied by general contractor. 9. DOOR RELEASE BUTTON BUTTON Each reception desk requires a door release button to unlock the reception door. 10. CAMERAS Cameras can be found covering the following locations: MDF/IDF door from the inside of the room, stairwell doors from the inside of Indeed space (not inside the stairwell), lobby doors inside the Indeed space, facing the interior side of the IT Help Desk, and Reception (over desk/facing main door). Cameras are cabled utilizing cat6a cabling which feeds back into that floors MDF/IDF. 10.1. Camera Hardware Exacqvision systems can be found in the MDF/IDF of each floor. All Samsung 2mp SNV-6013 cameras on that floor terminate into this box. Exacqvision is a server-based local recording VMS system.

11. KEY CONTROL

Technical

All keyways must be small format interchangeable core SCHLAGE Everest R124 Keyways. All offices must be rekeyed before Indeed moves into the space. If building management allows. Indeed security will provide the cores and keys required for the office and provide building management with an appropriate number of keys for access. Offices of less than 100 people should have a single keyway that controls all doors. An appropriate number of keys should be created and and maintained by the office manager.

12. Security Timeline and Key Milestones In order for the security installation to be successful there are some key milestones that need to be communicated from the project management team. (Milestones in BOLD) 1. Security needs to mark site plans as soon as door locations and construction is mostly finalized. Any changes to door locations or hardware later in the project need to be communicated to the security team as soon as possible in case changes need to be made to security permit drawings. 2. When do we get access to the building? Security integrators will need to walk the space to quote the project and security will need to make sure appropriate security devices are being installed. (Should allow 4-6 weeks for quoting, procurement and delivery of equipment) 3. When are the walls closing? Security vendor needs to have cables pulled or verified pathways exist to reach each device. This is also when they check to make sure doors have been prepared correctly and all equipment has arrived for installation. 4. When are the doors hung? Nothing can be tested until the final doors are installed in place. 5. Security will work with IT on determining when the network is operational. Brivo access control will not function until the panel is able to reach the network. Cameras cannot be aimed, focused or verified in the system until the network is operational. 6. “Go live date” Security team needs to know when to book travel for each location so we can have team members available on move weekend and for the first day or 2 for support.
