Indeed’s senior leadership team identified key factors that influence the success of the company, as well as key differentiators of the organization that bring people together. These elements can be expressed and enhanced within the design vocabulary of Indeed’s workplace, to provide a more vibrant environment that is both functional and inspiring. The focus must be on the employee experience and building a strong sense of community; a feeling of being at home. The aesthetic should be one of simplicity and cleanliness, and should reinforce Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs. Other key factors include: Indeed’s culture is not reactive… it is steadily evolving. Indeed wants to be a place where people choose to work based on the physical space, the community and the culture. Indeed wants to foster innovation and faster problem solving. Indeed wants to give employees choices in where they work, while ensuring visual connectivity to colleagues and team members.

DESIGN DRIVERS 1. Connect people The office is a place for connecting people. Amenities should enhance employee wellbeing. Employees will come to our offices because they are inspired by what it has to offer. 2. Be transparent + open We want to see people and celebrate our culture by expressing openness throughout the office space. Reinforce the positive impact of Indeed’s work in other people’s lives. 3. Foster innovation Be supportive, allow for vulnerability. Space should inspire, connect people and provide opportunities for various types of interactions. 4. Live data Be data driven in how we make decisions about space. Celebrate and showcase data that is meaningful to us through digital walls, also showcasing activity across Indeed’s global locations.
