Summer in the Carolinas is our absolute favorite, and for so many reasons: Here in the Queen City, our favorite rooftops seem to come alive, as crowds gather to take photos and selfies at sunset. BB&T Ballpark serves up amazing views of the skyline and a damn fine hot dog while Charlotte’s breweries are as lively as ever. Local bands play music and beer enthusiasts sip on a new, hoppy creation while the Rail Trail is packed with walkers, bikers, and happy pups heading to Futo Buta (for Shortino’s rice crispy squares on the patio) or some other delicious South End spot. The city has a buzz about it that we just love.
