Mr. Chris, Ms. Dyanna, and the WeHo tot team have provided Charlotte and our family with some very needed continuity and support this past year. As a stay-at-home mom during the pandemic, I am grateful to find a real community for my toddler that is welcoming, warm, safe, and most of all, fun! Until we can be a part of in-person programs again, this is the next best thing. Thank you for your creativity and never-ending chutzpah!

Virtual How to Make a Piñata Rec Kit

VIRTUAL CHINESE PAPER-CUTTING DESIGNS/WINDOW FLOWER CUTTING DESIGNS Chinese paper-cutting is a folk art that originated in China around the sixth century AD. The art form is most strongly associated with China because paper was invented in the country – by Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty. This Piñata Rec Kit will guide you in how to make your own piñata. You will get to create your own base, paper mâché, and decorate your very own piñata. You will also learn how to make your own glue by using common household items. Piñatas can be used as decorations, given as gifts or a fun activity for both children and adults. A pre-recorded video will also be provided. * WeRecKit will be available for pick up at Plummer Park on Saturday, August 7.
