Brand Environment Design

Brand Environment Design ensures that all brand items originate from the core values of the organisation. Every item produced is an outcome of this process.

4

WHY ? The Motrac building was the next phase in creating the Pon campus in Almere, the Netherlands, which already included the PonCat building which we had completed the year before. The campus will eventually include a headquarters building, and possibly an academy. The Motrac building, although physically connected to the PonCat building, must reflect the unique values of the Motrac company.

Research

7

The research included workshops with employees of MotracLinde. In these workshops, we search for the key values of the brand MotracLinde which led to a working concept.

Workshop 1. What are the key values of this company that will be reflected in the future building?

10

Research

11

The second workshop was based on logistics. We created a short film to open the discussion on various interpretations of the logistics and efficiency.

The end result of the research phase is the valueboard, in which all brand and organisation values are reflected.

14

Concept

15

The valueboard and input from the workshop sessions were translated into moodboards. These moodboards help to select materials used in the various parts of the building.
