Helping Erin
“I was totally overwhelmed when I came to Quarriers. At first I felt lost and had no one to turn to.
“When I feel things, I don’t normally speak to people but since I started counselling and sharing, things have changed in a good way”
53% of young homeless people in Scotland are Female. Every year Quarriers cares for many young women like Erin. We provide a specialist counselling service for young people who have experienced sexual exploitation. It helps.
Helping Jamie
“I’d never met Jamie before. I was checking him in to get his room at Quarriers. I asked for his next-of-kin, in case of emergency. He looked up and said ‘You?’”
You’re helping Quarriers give young people much more than a room. When you support the Box of Hope Appeal, you’re also supporting long term goals, to: • learn life skills like cooking • leave the disappointment of a difficult childhood behind them • find their own path towards a happy life. It helps.
If we don’t help these young people NOW, when they’re still young, what hope is there?
