Helping Jack
“If my Mum has a seizure I stay with her, and I know what to do.
Jack is 8, and helps care for his Mum and brother.
Young carers like Jack have had to grow up quickly and have a big sense of their responsibility.
They can find it really hard to relax, socialise and have fun. It’s important they get a break from their caring role.
A donation to Quarriers Summer Appeal provides much more than a simple day out for a child who needs a break - your gift is one of practical support, enriching experience, and a little bit of magic‌
“...on the days out it’s wonderful to see the kids slowly unwind and remember how to be a child again.”
