Tricks for Treating Your Skin

There are a few simple tricks you can treat your skin to that will give you a boost and restore your healthy glow. Look to the food you eat for sweet skin treats in pineapple, cucumber and sugar.

For an excellent enzyme exfoliation, cut up a fresh pineapple and enjoy a bowl full of its goodness. Then wipe a piece onto your clean face and let it dry. Leave it on while you are lounging around the house for as long as you like. Then remove with a wet, warm wash cloth. Makeup will go on smoother and skin will glow.

When your eyes are a little puffy from allergies or a little too much wine the night before, slice a cold cucumber. Lay down with your head elevated and put cucumbers over your eyes for about 10 minutes. The caffeine in brewed tea bags will work the same way to reduce the puffiness. Be sure to enjoy the cup of tea too.

And when you can’t get to the spa for a pedicure fast enough, make a scrub of your own to soften those heels. Mix sugar with coconut oil or olive oil and go to town softening your feet. Get adventurous and add some essential oils for freshening as well.
