INDEBTEDNESS, Issuing a Form 1099-C to the World written by Rev. Danielle Marie Hewitt

B

efore I became the Spiritual Director of the Temple of Light my prior career was working as a CPA in our family accounting firm. Our children would roll their eyes at my husband and me as we would on occasion use “Accounting Lingo” to make a joke or illustrate a point.

We thought we were funny, but apparently we were in the minority. So, if you will pardon yet another attempt at using this method, I would like to share a way of attaining some peace and happiness in your life.

But first, a little background education. At the end of the year perhaps you or your family members receive some forms in the mail that are to be used to create your income tax returns.

You may receive a Form 1099-B which means you have some reportable interest income or you may receive a Form 1099-Misc which means you worked as an independent contractor for a company and if you got lucky in Las Vegas and have some gambling winnings you would receive in the mail a Form 1099-G. If you owed money to a bank, finance company or credit card and you had the amount reduced or completely zeroed out you would receive a form called a 1099-C (meaning a cancellation of debt, and yes it’s taxable unless you are under bankruptcy protection). A copy of any of the above forms is also sent to the IRS to ensure you properly report these various kinds of income on your tax return.

So, as the holiday season arrived for my family this year we noticed how particularly nice it was that there was a distinct lack of drama.

My husband and I attributed it, at least in part, to the growth that we had both achieved in the past year not allowing others peoples’ emotions and outbursts to get to us. But, there was one family member whose drama was shared to me and I have to say…it got to me a little. I spent some time walking on the beach Christmas Eve trying to work it through. In these situations, my training and success knows that when I am emotionally triggered by another persons’ behavior that it is never really about the other person, but rather, about the part of me that is wounded, frightened, angry, resentful, etc.

That is not to say the other persons’ behavior is beyond reproach, but what is more important is how I approach them and feel about what they are doing. I came to some level of understanding, but on Christmas Day a spiteful zinger was personally delivered by the same person and this time it hurt.

I was initially really unhappy that my demeanor had been affected on a very special family day and as much as I tried to push it aside I could feel it working its’ way in. Fortunately everyone went for a walk before dinner, and my husband and I were held back for a few minutes.

I used this opportunity to express my pain in the hopes that the expression >> continued on page 6

As we left the house and began walking to catch up with everyone else I recognized that what allowed me to be so hurt was the accumulated things and behaviors that I wanted from this person that I was not getting… I felt they owed me something. I felt this person owed me respect, owed me kindness, owed me approval. I felt this person gave me no leeway or latitude for error, that if I ever said or did anything imperfect I was destined to be “in trouble” with them. I was really, really angry at not getting all of the things from this person that they “owed” me. I felt this person was indebted to me for these things I was not in that moment willing to let them

the sole ability to give me the things I want, I can never truly embrace a peace of mind fully. Why did I believe that I needed this person for self-respect, approval, community, belonging, tenderness, celebration, worthiness? It seems we have not been educated that everything we need comes from within and only from within. When we start looking to outside sources for our own emotional needs it is inevitable that we will find it lacking. Learning how to create our own personal emotional support will not only allow us to forgive all of those we deemed to have been coming up short, but it also allows us to create an amazing flow of support that can be shared and given to others without ever feeling like we will run out.

So… consider yourself a holder of the debt. Decide to forgive all of those people in your life that “owe” you something, whether it’s money, support, an apology, approval, respect, whatever.. and release them. Forgive them the debt, cancel it. Issue them in your mind a “Form 1099-C” Cancellation of Debt and send a copy to the IRS, not the Internal Revenue Service, but rather to the bank of Individual Resource Self-sufficiency.

It was such a relief when I recognized what my contribution to this drama was. Because you see, once we recognize how we ourselves are stirring up the pot, we can cease the co-creative behavior.

I wish it were true that sometimes, even on a rare occasion it could be another persons’ fault that I feel miserable so I don’t have to go through the personal inventory of how I was involved, but the truth is, it just never is, not even once, not even a little, not ever solely in the other persons hands.

Knowing this takes all of the temptation to deny our part out of the mix.

In this moment, this place of profound epiphany I was happy to have worked through what I needed to do to be free of this misery. I had to completely and totally forgive them their indebtedness to me. I had to decide once and for all that while I believed they owed me something I would always be looking for it from them and it would never be what I needed or wanted. You see all unhappiness comes from a place of “want.” And while I believe that this person, or any other person holds in their power

tars dominate the sky and glitter in their orbital path providing a diamond-like pallet for the star gazer. But on occasion when the gazer peruses the stellar scene, one of those “stars” will move, not with the flicker of white fire, but with purpose and direction. The excitement projected by these movements will be unique to the onlooker who marvels at how the object glides effortlessly across the heavens and seemingly floats with ease. But herein lays the problem – for years humans have stared to the heavens for the glimpse of another pallet of life. When viewed they document and photograph and discuss the possibilities of what they saw or didn’t see with their sighting of these intergalactic vehicles.

What about focusing instead on speaking with the navigators?

The extraterrestrials are helping to fulfill the need for the shift as they approach our planet at this time in history. There is now a greater awareness and longing in individuals to find their true purpose or mission.

The following message was especially channeled for us right now from the Counsel for Arbitrary Enlightenment: We of the Counsel wish to come to you to speak of the pertinent subjects that are randomly designed to complicate the matters of enlightenment or ascension on this Earth plane. Know that we are here to help you discover and

put to rest the speculations of what is this and what is that, and when will this occur and when will that occur. Seek not that which you have heard or read about from others, for everyone on this earthly plane has their own truths. When you see the illusion of what is being perpetrated against the whole of the human race, then you will see clearer that which is the clearest of all – this truth is you and in you. You do not need to seek outside of yourself; your only need is to devour the information that is presented to you upon your reconnection with your Source force that is within you. This reuniting with your Source power is what constitutes your constant need to come in contact with the Galactic realm for which you were procured. Is it not natural for the child to navigate toward the sound and calling of its begotten source? Now is the time, dear family, to acquire that which is naturally yours, once again.

There is no randomness in your illumination for the explanation cannot come from without. Your truth should not be subjective for validity to those around you. For it is known that the truth shall set you free, and he who abides in the altar of faith will forever be connected to the universal realm of knowingness without seeking or asking. Know that there is no futile effort in seeking; only know that the futility lies in the seeker stopping for a time to engorge the truths of someone else instead of taking the amount of information and ruminating upon its legitimacy for their own purpose.

Each has been given an authority to decipher that which is by chance or that which is logical. Illogic pertains to the stopping of the flow of consciousness – for when this occurs, the ambience of the truth is stagnated and pools into a lake

of white-capped waves. But when the transformation comes clearly, and the source of truth flows, there is no need for help to rumple the flow.

We say this in all humility, dear family, because we knew there would be a need for your illusions to be broken. For there is nothing random about the approaches taken; the uniqueness is all about yourselves. Remember you are unique to all those around you, for you do not languish in the politics of this world. When you look to the sky, know that we are only a call away. For we speak to you often, especially to those who ears are not closed to the sound of our voice. Seek to open your inner-wisdom and inner-hearing, unlock the flow of information and the feeling of kinship, for we are not strangers, we have only been obscured from your attunement for a little while. We bring you imagination, we bring you peace, and we bring you back into the originality of yourself. Seek that which is natural – that which lies within you. For we intermingle within and without, and are as natural as the star in the skies. We are here to disparage any doubt, because we represent the enlightenment of all ages, but especially that of this epoch.

Here we share some truths that cannot be disparaged – for your world is not privy to the way all things happen outside of your atmosphere.

The flying fragments which roar through the skies day and night – have you thought of where these originate? Those fragments have come from the outer solar-system. They travel through the dimensions as effortlessly as you travel through your daily life. The upper quadrants of the dimensional realm are but a proving ground for all the perfunctory stations and enigma of advancement. These fragments are created through collisions on another plane and travel light years through portals in other dimensions and find their way through countless atmospheres; for in upper space there is nothing pulling them down. But their journey ends once the gravity on this plane attaches, and then the remains of the cast-offs can be seen and displayed in a gloriously imagined sight upon entering your atmosphere.

Stay, therefore, upon the highest of the high vibrational tow so as not to let yourselves be pulled down through osmosis. The stars glide effortlessly as you should, and will, when you see that to be encompassed within the truth of yourselves will encapsulate you, once again, in time and space.

Do not let the pull of this world’s opinions weigh you down for you are a shining star to us and we seek you out as well as you seek out us. Dilute your

thinking with our remembrances of who you are and how we truly know that our work is tireless because you are at our center of attention. There is nothing more to our Counsel but to be charged with dissolving the myths that have forever brought a deluge of mis-information to your planet. We work tirelessly for your remembrance of your origin; our patience knows no bounds. Because all will be formatted in precisely the image that is to restore the seeker to their true self, purpose, and cause. We will come again with the voice that will crush the longsuffering confusion of the moment. We thank you for gravitating toward and the seeking of your Truth.”

Why is it not brought forth to learn and to empower the human with the subjects and knowledge these Beings possess? Much has been spoken of having to do with the emergence of these Outer Beings.

They are simply here to provide for the next phase of the human development. God, in His infinite wisdom, has brought about these, His creation, to come full circle and provided for them time on this lower plane and to descend upon their lower brothers to blanket their minds with the knowledge of ascending to a higher realm. God, in his infinite wisdom, has chosen these Beings to project the truth and the dynamics into the Other World to those of who his spark has been uncovered and wish to move forward.

To be chosen to provide enlightenment to masses will be completed by those who are awakening to their true origin which began in the vast void of the higher heavens where God resides. For when God created his Sparks, not all chose to drop down to the lower heavens.

Others chose to mingle with the stars and reside in and on other worlds which were on the same altitude of the heavens.

To be part of this plane, these entities were encased in a different outer covering that did not and would not resemble that of others, (whether on the lower earth or in the heavens), but they were equipped with the form of the Infinites, possessive all-knowing design.

We are all sparks from the same Creator and although different in style, mannerisms, shape and form, we will communicate with our spark knowledge and glean that which is meant to be and happen.

Knowledge of a different form is imbedded in these Beings. They are not invested in the mundane of currency or possessions, but are developed in the wholeness of the form and the counterparts of the spirit sparks developness.

For when the spark is brought into the forefront nothing else supersedes.

U

nderstanding our basic and deepest needs and how we act if those needs are not met can give insight to why we act or react the way we do. Dr. William Glasser’s book, Choice Theory, is where he talks about the five basic needs that everyone has: safety and security, love and belonging, fun, freedom, and power. We all need every one of those, but in different quantities according to our nature. Some of us have a greater need for safety and security and others have a huge need for fun. There’s no right and wrong. It’s just who we are. If our needs are not met, we endure great emotional pain. We therefore produce behavior that will facilitate an opportunity to get those needs met.

Ironically, many times we create behavior that pushes our ability to fulfill the need even further away.

What we resist persists; and what we fear appears. The reverse is also true. Once we learn to let go and meet our needs within ourselves rather than seek them outside of us, remarkable events and people show up to enhance our experience.

The five basic needs are: Safety and security Think about it. We all need lodging, food and warmth. The amount varies between each person. Some of us love the outdoors and don’t mind being cold. Others prefer an apartment with heat, electricity and a secure lock.

Love and belonging As humans, we all have a need for love and belonging. For some our family is how we fulfill that need.

For others it’s our spiritual center or church. There are others who volunteer or join a choir.

Freedom One of the reasons why jail can be so debilitating is it falls into one of our basic needs. We all need different variables of freedom. Some like a more defined way of life, with only a small amount of freedom, while others need a lot of space to explore and express. Think about why a two year old throws a tantrum when he wants to explore a store and is restricted. According to him, his basic need of freedom has been taken away. By understanding what need is not met we can learn to provide that to ourselves or our loved one.

Power Do you have a desire to make an impact on the world? As humans we want to feel like our presence means something, like we have a purpose and we make a difference. Others have a need to be in control of their life. When this need is not met it can sometimes turn into attempting to control others.

Power is a basic need. Using the analogy of a two year old throwing a tantrum, giving a child choices gives them power to make decisions and can easily deflate a fight. When we address every situation based on the need that’s not being met we can resolve the situation with peace and love.

Fun We all need doses of fun in our lives. Some of us like worldly adventures like hiking, rafting or skiing.

Others like amusement parks or scrabble. Our ideas of fun and the amount we need it varies. Children’s need for fun is usually, but not always greater than adults, while adults need for power and safety and security can be greater.

Our needs vary depending on what stage we are in our lives, our experiences, our culture and our beliefs about ourselves and the world. >> continued on page 23 15

continued from page 21 >> By understanding our basic needs we can better understand why we do what we do and why we feel the way we do. We can also understand our loved ones around us and become better equipped to supporting them.

Here’s another way to look at needs.

Humans act in a very specific way because they are trying to fulfill a need. If you understand the why behind what you do then you’ll understand what your driving force is regarding everything you choose in your life. By understanding this you can decide if that motivation is true for you and create more of what you usually create or something new.

There are six basic needs.

1. Certainty Every human being needs certainty and attains it, or strives to, in a variety of ways. Most people get and keep a job because of the built in certainty of knowing how much money they will receive and when. Many people stay in marriages because of the illusion of certainty that they’re not alone. We like to be certain that our investments will produce gains and have a hard time when there are no clear solutions to our problems. Too much or particular types of uncertainty creates pain. The uncertainty at the end of a marriage, the uncertainty when being diagnosed with a disease, the uncertainty when losing a job all create fear and pain so great that it can produce actions to shield the pain, which cause more harm. People will drink and take drugs to hide the fear they feel inside. People feel suicidal when all they perceive is a dark cloud of the painful situation. Uncertainty can incredibly frightening, enough in some cases that people stay in painful situations for the simple reason that they are certain of their situation. As the saying goes,“The devil you know is better than the devil unkown”

what the gun holder has in his bank account or doesn’t, or the college degree he holds or doesn’t, is no longer what makes him feel significant; that he controls life and death of another does. Others will choose to feel their significance through acts of love and kindness. This positive way accomplishes the same result--feeling one’s significance, but creates a very different experience of it by all involved.

4. Connection/love As William Glasser explains connection and love are basic needs for humans. We all want to feel loved, and we all want to feel connected to others and to our true selves. We are scared of feeling hurt but the feeling of love and belonging are so strong that we will put aside our fear of rejection and pain in order to feel them.

The next two needs he describes as spiritual needs. These two are not as easily attained and usually take effort and commitment on our part.

5. Growth We all have a need to grow, learn and expand who we are. I believe this need comes from the basic need of connection as well as to feel significant. If we keep growing and expanding who we are, we can become more significant in

I love surprises. There are times I can’t sleep at night because I feel great anticipation about something unknown to me, such as a trip to a new country, a product I’m about to launch, or a talk I’m about to give. There is uncertainty in all of those situations. Excitement builds, which keeps me coming back for more.

Without variety in life, life becomes boring. We thrive on variety. If it’s not offered easily we will find a way to make it happen. This need ties in with Certainty and its’ role, as to why people stay in negative life situations, especially highdrama situations: life is both “routine” in a way and varied. People in dramatic relationships seldom complain they are bored- perhaps verbally or physically abused, but never bored.

3.Significance. Uniqueness We all want to feel special, unique and significant during our lifetime. Many of us want to be remembered after we die or want to feel that we made a positive impact on someone’s life, or a number of lives. As significance can be derived destructively or constructively, some will create situations that cause happiness and love, while others will cause harm. Either way significance will be created.

Tony Robbins gave the example of someone pointing a gun at a person. Doing that will make the person holding the gun feel more significant in that moment: 16

society, our families and our group of friends. This enhances our need fulfillment because we not only hear about our significance from others we serve, but are able to genuinely feel it within ourselves. Others want to grow simply for their own purposes.

6. Contribution beyond ourselves Did you ever feel a desire to feed the homeless, help an elder with her or his bags or donate food to the starving children in Africa? Most such actions don’t produce monetary rewards for the giver. They and their actions won’t be known to many people. They perform these actions for the simple feeling of making a difference. After the events of 9/11 people from all over the United States and all over the world came out of the wood work to help victims and their families. There was no reward for this, just a knowing that they felt compelled to contribute, and as a result made a difference.

Understanding these basic needs we all have can help you to understand yourself and what motivates you. Many of my spiritual and business coaches asked me to figure out the why behind my actions or desires. The key to remember is that if the why is strong enough the how will show up. Specifically, when your why is strong enough, you are open to opportunities and take action on them when they show up. Many people have faced drastic situations; yet their desire to overcome or succeed was so strong, how they managed to attain their desired outcome was fueled by the strength and clarity of and commitment to their goal.

Many others who seem to have had everything handed to them seem to grow up to live pay check to pay check and experience a mediocre life.

Their why was never developed or strengthened. They never perceived a need for a why so their dreams were left at the way side. Once tragedy or a major life change hits many peoples’ whys are formed. The truth is we don’t need tragedy to create a strong why. We need to understand which need of ours is the strongest and work from there to discover how to connect it to our dreams or goals and allow it to assist us to reach them.

When we understand what shapes us, our needs, we can begin to understand why we behave the way we do. By understanding this we can create change, new habits, new maps and new emotions, eliminating those that do not serve us anymore.

The first thing is understanding what our target is; which need drives us? What our focus is? Is it based on past, present or future experiences?

The next step is understanding our map, how we model the world. Ask yourself if your target is the end or the beginning for you. Are you being punished or rewarded? This is a critical step to understanding why we got to the present moment in our lives and how we can move on from there.

Then understand how you react based on your model of the world and your life situation. Does it make you give up or move forward? Do you forgive or feel vengeful?

magine if you will a magnificent scene; beyond the earth plane, in the realms of pure light and pure love you see billions and billions of souls all standing in a line that stretches back as far as the eye can see. These beautiful souls are all waiting with eager anticipation to be a part of one of the most monumental experiences of this galaxy. You can feel the immense joy and excitement in the air for this is a very special opportunity to be a catalyst for the transformation and elevation of the consciousness of humanity and the planet earth. This is a mission of great importance and great adventure should you accept the challenge. For you see, you are one of these beautiful souls and you have waited to be here on this earth in this now moment.

You have chosen to be here. What an amazing time to be alive!

What an amazing contribution you can make to the shift of our precious Gaia and ourselves. At last, all beings can live in peace and harmony with each other and with the Goddess Gaia as we enter into Unity Consciousness. Are you 20

ready?

Because you are reading this, chances are you already know how important and powerful this time is. You may be wondering how we make the most of these energies. How do we gracefully allow the transformative process that is occurring all around us?

First, it is helpful to know what is happening with the changes astrologically here on earth and then also to understand the significance of some of the wisdom handed down from our ancestors and the wise ones in history.

In the year 2012 many rare astrological alignments and earth change events are set to coincide with each other creating the opening for the ascension of our planet into 4th and 5th dimensional consciousness. In 2012 our earth completes a great cycle known as the Procession of the Equinoxes or one complete wobble of the earth’s axis, like a spinning top once every 25,630 years. Also, in 2012, the earth will come into exact alignment with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy in a phenomenon known

as the “Sacred Cross”. This alignment may allow for pure energies of very high vibration not available before, pouring into our planet from the great Central Sun. Also, occurring now on earth is the weakening of the earth’s magnetic field.

Over the past 2000 years the earth’s magnetic field has weakened by 38% and the rate of decrease has risen over 6% in the last century allowing the possibility of a geomagnetic reversal. This is a scenario where the earth’s magnetic field reverses so that compasses point in the opposite direction that they do currently. As stated

by Drunvalo Melchizedeck; “The magnetic field is what we use to interpret who and what we think we are and also to store our memory with...

Suddenly (if) the magnetic field of the Earth, over a very short period of time (usually three to six months) starts fluctuating a lot and undulating... That is what breaks down all the structures of the planet.”. We see this breaking down of structures occurring all around us in our current times. We are experiencing the structures of our global governments, financial systems and social structure being broken down making way for the new consciousness to arise. These factors alone combine to allow a gateway for the birth of our new earth and the dawn of the Golden Age that was foretold in ancient times.

This special moment in time has been well documented in prophecies and ancient texts 21

worldwide. In Christianity the bible speaks of the end times and also the dawn of the New-Jerusalem and the Golden Age. The Hopi and other indigenous tribes tell of a time when the old will fall away and humanity will enter into an era where all creatures will live in peace and unity.

The Mayans were aware of this knowledge and based their “Long Count” calendar on advanced astronomical knowledge of the cycle known as the Precession of the Equinoxes. Many interpret the Mayans Long Count Calendar as ending on December 21st 2012, completing one “Great Cycle” of the Earth’s History.

The Mayan’s nine-story step pyramids of the Plumed Serpent in Chichen-Itza, The Pyramid of the Jaguar in Tikal and The Temple of Inscriptions in Palenque all represent the nine stages of creation. The bottom step of the pyramid represents the beginning of creation or the creation of the universe and the ninth story of the pyramid symbolizes now, the end (2012) at the highest point of consciousness available for humanity.

Many believe that the final stage of this major shift in consciousness began with Harmonic Convergence on August 17, 1987 and initiated the projected twenty-five year period of accelerated energies culminating in December 2012. Throughout this time period and entering into 2012 there are many energy portal dates that are “power� dates to activate and receive the new energies and higher vibrations that are being

made available to use for healing and transformation. The Solstices, Equinoxes, Full Moons, New Moons and Eclipses are all power dates that allow for the new higher frequencies of energy to stream in to the planet.

November 11, 2011 (11/11/11) was a major power date and considered by some to be the end of the Mayan Calendar rather than 12/21/12. On this date powerful new energies were made available that are giving us the final push that we need to birth our new world. Indeed it is a very powerful time to be alive and there are very powerful and transformative energies available during this special time. So, how do you make the most of these energies and how do you gracefully allow the transformative process that is occurring at this time?

First and foremost, your thoughts create your world. I know almost all of us have heard this over and over but it is true now more than ever. Time is accelerating and things are happening faster and

faster. We are all experiencing this reality. Due to this acceleration we are able to experience our thoughts manifesting nearly instantaneously.

By monitoring your thoughts you make a choice to be in the new energy. This is very similar to tuning the dial on the radio to hear the type of music that you desire. By allowing certain negative thoughts to run in your minds you are choosing the lower vibrations and the old way of being. Make a commitment to watch your thoughts on a daily basis especially when you first wake up in the morning. Your early morning thoughts often set patterns for the rest of the day. If you notice thoughts of fear or lack immediately change the thought to its positive affirmation. Now notice how this positive affirmation shifts your energy and your reality.

Notice how you feel after affirming the new reality. This is how you choose the new energies and how you transform your world, moment to moment. The next key is to allow your new creation and reality to exist without canceling it with other negative thoughts.

Instead allow yourself to experience your new reality with all of the joy and pleasure it brings.

Be spontaneous, break old routines and allow for the new to manifest.

Do you do the same thing every day? By getting stuck doing the same thing every day you become locked into the old energy pattern. Be creative and follow your inner desires. Take action and do new things. By breaking old patterns you allow your new world to manifest.

or to create peace, this intention is magnified beyond what we can comprehend. This is the ultimate key to moving into Unity Consciousness. For the coming power dates of the Solstices, Equinoxes, Full Moons and New Moons make a commitment to connect with like minded groups. As we come together in oneness we are birthing our new earth together. We are creating our collective vision of peace love and harmony. We can create and birth the new Gaia together as one.

By being caught in the hustle and bustle of daily life we are in a constant pushing and active mode. We must be open in our chakras and especially our heart to truly receive. Also, many of us are indoors all day going from work to home to another building and so on, never getting the chance to connect with nature and with our earth. This way of living keeps us stuck in the old energies. It is crucial to make time to open to the new energies that are pouring into earth at this time by spending time out in nature. As we do this we allow ourselves to reset our energy systems and absorb then new frequencies that are available. Let yourself be nurtured and supported by this connection.

Make time to go inward in silence or meditation on a daily basis. All that is lies within. All of creation is within you waiting to be released. By making time to be silent and connect with your core you are making connections with the greater whole. In the space of stillness and meditation you are better able to release any dense energy or limiting patterns. In this place your are already one with all that is. Relax, breathe and release.

Live and experience life centered in the heart.

When you are centered in your heart and experiencing life from this place you are already in 4th or 5th dimensional consciousness. In 4th and 5th dimensional consciousness there is Unity and Love and time as we know it ceases to exist. When you feel fear or stress or other energies of distortion you are pulled out of your heart space and into your mind. It is important to remember that when you feel these intense emotions all you have to do is stop, relax and breathe into your heart. Allow your heart to gently open and your consciousness to become centered there. Next, notice how you world and your emotions shift when you are living in your heart space. Of course living from the heart takes practice but the more you practice the more you will be able to stay there.

Create and Participate in Community. Groups are extremely powerful. We are moving into the 4th and 5th dimensional energies. In 4th and 5th dimensional consciousness there are no opposites there is just unity. Also time begins to bend and in some instances ceases to exist. There is no you and me, there is just we. By participating and coming together in groups we are creating and allowing the experience of this unity. Also when we come together in groups, the group consciousness is immeasurably stronger than the individual. If we come together with intent to heal

Write With Spirit

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.

ou are the main character in a play. It doesn’t matter if your story’s a metaphysical adventure, passionate romance, hilarious comedy, or supernatural thriller. What does matter is whether you write with Spirit.

As spiritual beings on a human excursion, we are the stars on a grand stage playing with consciousness. We’re actors breathing life into characters imbued with bodies, emotions, thoughts and voices. We have visions and dreams as well as adversity and obstacles. We can believe we’re separate from Spirit or we can embrace an evolving story that leads us back home to our Source. Story making is the ultimate creative adventure. It’s the path back to who we really are.

I personally love stories. As a psychotherapist and writer, I’ve heard plenty, told many, and written quite a few. Writing offers my imagination a playground to create compelling characters. I can place seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their path then write their adventure, knowing transformation is part of the story. Every word and punctuation mark serves a purpose.

Unfortunately, my writing doesn’t compare with the Divine Author who only creates bestsellers. Like any masterful writer, Spirit knows the purpose of every interaction, situation, problem, relationship, crisis and victory. The Author gives us exactly what we need to further our growth

on the material plane. Our egos may not be happy but we always get what we need. Each difficulty, detour, and road block shapes our characters. We may not know where the story is heading but when we connect the dots, we can recognize the amazing opportunities for growth. Traumas can teach us about gratitude and forgiveness.

Death can demonstrate the impermanence of life and propel us to live in the moment. Pleasure can offer sensory experiences for enjoyment or bliss.

Since linear time doesn’t apply to the Creative Source, our books are already written. However, our ego wants to believe it’s writing the story. That’s like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz believing she’s in charge of the pen. If it was up to her, she’d probably eliminate the tornado and live forever in gray, dreary Kansas, unaware of the colorful world of Oz. The author of her story, Frank Baum, knew the importance of dynamic characters, a vibrant plot, fierce enemies, loyal allies, and, of course a homecoming victory. Though she didn’t know it, Dorothy was always in the right place >> continued on page 26

continued from page 25 >> at the right time with the right people. The tornado and the conflict with the wicked witch propelled her on a journey to entertain and enthrall us. Everything was in perfect order.

As characters in a Divine story, we, like Dorothy, may not understand the purpose of a tornado be it a financial crisis, health issue, or relationship drama, but, rest assured, we are exactly where we’re meant to be. Our current life situation might place us on page 350 of our 800 page novel and we may not like the page.

However, if we recognize that we are more than characters with egos, we can appreciate the wonderful, unfolding journey. Remember, the Divine Author is a heavenly writer.

Like Dorothy, we’re meant to have incredible adventures on the journey back home. The Author has created our characters with unique bodies, emotions, thoughts, relationships, and voices. We’ve been entrusted with dreams to fulfill and obstacles to overcome. We can play the role of victim and experience separation from Spirit. Or we can embrace our evolving story and recognize we are One with the Light flowing through us onto living pages.

Our stories and characters may be different but the ending is always the same – we return back Home to the Source of creation.

Returning home is a universal theme that plays daily on the marquee.

If we feel alone and unloved, it means we’ve forgotten about the Divine connection. When we forget who we are and focus on survival, we expend our energy wrestling with Spirit for control of the pen. We might even place a demand on the Author, “Don’t give me a

tornado!”

Now here’s where the story gets interesting. Even if we forget our true identity as spiritual beings, it’s all part of the play. If an actress believes she’s the character on stage, it makes for good acting. But if she forgets that she’s an actress, she’ll go insane – the state of mind when we’re separate from Spirit. Then again, it would make for a compelling story. Dorothy and the prodigal son are clear examples of getting lost and finding home.

Our quest on this grand adventure is to break free from the illusion of separation and raise our consciousness.

We can then recognize that we are One, both creation and Creator, Light illuminating the world through story.

Consider these six steps to write with Spirit: 1. Let Go of Control.

If you feel powerless and helpless or you’re driving yourself crazy on the search for abundant wealth, the perfect partner, and spiritual enlightenment, let go of the pen. Struggle signals distrust in the Author and the frantic urge to take control.

Surrendering to a Higher Power is a key step in any recovery group. In effect, letting go means releasing our attachment to habitual beliefs in outdated stories. In The Presence Process Michael Brown writes that a radiant experience occurs “. . . when this divine essence takes the reins of our life ‘present moment awareness.’ ” By resting in the hands of Spirit, we allow the Author to use our senses, emotions, thoughts, relationships, communication, and perceptions. As we let go, we become better receivers for the Guiding Power of Spirit, our personal GPS. Whenever we get lost on a page, we can merely ask Spirit to

show us what our character needs to do, where we need to go, whom we’re supposed to see and what we’re meant to say. This requires trust in the Guiding Power of Spirit. Deepening trust is an ongoing process.

Many years ago when I lived in Sydney, Australia, I attended an intense meditation class that ended late in the evening. Leaving in a blissful state, I began the drive home when an intuitive message directed me to take a specific route. My judgmental mind hadn’t yet kicked into its habitual chattering, so I followed the guidance.

Actually, it was a series of instructions that took me to a red brick house. After I parked across the street, the internal voice instructed me to talk to the people in the house. My immediate reaction was, “No way!”

However, a young couple stepped out the front door and walked to their car parked in front of their home. My inner voice calmly told me to talk with them. At the time, I worked at a child and adolescent psychiatry department and wondered how I’d respond to a client who heard voices. Unwilling to surrender, my ego regained control. As a result, I did nothing. When the couple drove away, I felt both a wave of relief and regret. My awakening during the day’s meditation was replaced with paralysis by fear. That fear prevented a holy encounter.

Fortunately, lessons repeat themselves until they’re learned.

Several weeks later I took the train to work. When a well-dressed man in a gray suit sat next to me, I received another intuitive message to speak with him. I initially resisted but, remembering the previous lost opportunity, let go of my fear and asked for help from the Author, saying silently, “Show me what you want me to do.”

No sooner did I ask, when the man casually mentioned the newspaper in my hand. A conversation quickly moved to meditation.

It turned out that the man was adept at a particular method of stilling the mind. After sharing his technique, he confided that he was intuitively instructed to talk with me. In effect, both of us were asked to write pages with Spirit. But we had to let go of our fears to make a significant mark on the page.

2. Be Present. Since we are Divine works of art in process, staying in the present moment reduces the mental chatter. We can then feel the presence of Light on our pages. Conscious breathing stills the mind and deepens our connection with the present. Eckhart Tolle highlighted the importance of the present in The Power of Now. When we live in the now, we free ourselves from judgment.

The higher vibration of pure awareness expands our thoughts, sensations and emotions. We may feel happiness and joy but we may also encounter uncomfortable emotions like anger or sadness.

Mindfulness often reveals suppressed emotions.

If we have the expectation to only have positive emotions, we limit ourselves as characters to be one-dimensional. We must experience a wide range of emotions if we want full-bodied characters. As the poet Rumi wrote, “God turns you from one feeling to another and teaches by means of opposites, so you have two wings to fly, not one.” When we stay fully present, contrasting emotions take us to the depths of humanity and the heights of divinity.

Several months ago, I heard the painful news that my granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia. I was overwhelmed

with sorrow and grief about a 12-year-old girl facing a life-threatening illness. Time immediately slowed down, as it often does during a crisis. I felt deep sadness. At the same time, I was struck by the fragility of the material world and our limited time here on Earth.

That brought a deeper appreciation of the present. Rather than drive myself to complete tasks, I slowed down to be more mindful.

I didn’t want to take the simple things of life, like waking or eating, for granted. I wanted to remain present and appreciate life, knowing there might not be a tomorrow.

Being present allows us to be aware, moment-by-moment, of events, experiences, emotions and sensations. That shift in consciousness enables us to participate more fully in our unfolding stories. We may have flashes of insight and a heightened awareness of our union with Spirit.

3. Witness Miracles. If we place our trust in things working out according to the plans of our ego, we’ll end up disappointed. If we trust in the Divine Author, we’ll witness miracles every day. Spirit never stops writing. We might receive an uplifting phone call from a friend when we’re despondent. We might bump into a stranger who turns our life around. Every incident has been carefully crafted by the Author. Great writing includes mysterious twists and turns.

Crises act as page-turners. The bigger the crisis, the greater the opportunity for miracles. When my granddaughter began chemotherapy, I witnessed a chain reaction of miracles. During the course of her healing journey, >> continued on page 28 27

sharing requires us to move past our ego and thoughts of separation and open our hearts. Sometimes we may be asked to listen to another person’s story. Those authentic moments bring bountiful rewards.

5. Reap Rewards. Our ultimate reward is Self-realization – that we are both creation and creator no matter where we’re at in the story. It doesn’t matter if we’re on page one or page 350. We can always experience the reward of a good book. And we don’t have to wait till the end to relish the story.

When we write with Spirit, we’re rewarded with countless spiritual lessons. We may have been blind but now can see. A new set of eyes helps us recognize that we are merely characters playing on the material plane. When we play with raised consciousness, we tap into childlike innocence and embrace our rightful inheritance of love which is our very essence, our natural state of being. Writing with Spirit circulates love to other Divine characters. And what goes around comes around.

6. Return Home. The purpose of all stories is to bring us back Home. Our unfolding lives are masterpieces of heavenly writing.

Every circumstance, event, relationship or health challenge moves us closer to our final destination – Home with our Creator.

Though we may experience tornadoes, dastardly creatures, incredible companions or wonderful adventures, we can move through them more joyfully with the faith that Spirit knows exactly what we need to learn on the material plane. Whether we’re in the valley of the shadow of death or high on the mountain peak, we are always Home. Our mission is to never forget. As Dorothy said, “There’s no place like home.”

Since story making is the ultimate creative adventure, we’re called to take that path back to who we really are. Holding pen in hand with the right frame of mind, let us write with Spirit. Welcome Home!

While crises may break us open to perceive the world differently, we don’t need them to witness miracles. All we need is the ongoing recognition that we are perfect the way we are in our evolutionary story. Knowing we are all One is a profound miracle!

4. Share Your Stories. Our stories are meant to be shared, from the beginning to the end. It may involve a tornado, a dream or a homecoming. Stories connect us to others and remind us to stay awake. Sharing pain as well as joy forges loving bonds that transcend the human experience.

While it’s important to share our lives with family, friends, and loved ones, we mustn’t forget strangers who, after all, are spiritual beings. Most of us can recount incidents of loving kindness from strangers who act as angels.

Shortly after I heard the news of my granddaughter, I went to the supermarket to purchase food. During checkout, the clerk asked me how I was doing. “Not too well,” I answered before sharing the sad news. Upon hearing my story, the woman immediately picked up her cell phone and called a friend. “I’m with a man whose granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Please put her in our prayer circle.”

I was moved by the clerk’s act of compassion. She was clearly touched by my willingness to share my personal life. In many ways,

with lasagna sheets. Spread over a third of the sauce. Add one-third each of the mushrooms and grated fontina cheese.

Repeat the process and finish with a sheet of lasagna. Spoon over the remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling. Leave to rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Huevos Rancheros

1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped 1 red chile, seeded and finely chopped 1 garlic clove, crushed 1 teaspoon ground cumin 14-oz./400-g can chopped tomatoes 2 very fresh eggs Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro, to serve 4 slices of whole-grain toast, to serve Serves 2 Heat the soy sauce and 2 tablespoon of water in a non-stick skillet. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes until the liquid has evaporated and the onion has softened. Stir in the pepper, chile, garlic, and ground cumin and cook for 1 minute.

Tip in the tomatoes, season, and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Make 2 hollows in the sauce and break and egg into each one. Reduce the heat, cover the skillet, and cook for 5 minutes until the eggs are soft set. Scatter with cilantro and serve with 2 slices of wholegrain toast per serving.

Wild Mushroom Lasagna 4 tablespoons/50 g butter 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 large white onion, sliced 2 garlic cloves, chopped 2 bay leaves 2 ¼ lbs./1 kg wild mushrooms (any variety), sliced 1 cup/250 ml vegetable stock 1 tablespoon tomato paste/purée 13 oz./375-g fresh lasagna sheets 10 ½ oz./ 300 g fontina cheese, grated 2 oz./50 g Parmesan cheese, finely grated Sea salt and freshly ground pepper Béchamel sauce 4 tablespoons/50 g butter 2 tablespoons all-purpose/plain flour ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Chocolate mousse 3 cups/750 ml whole milk Serves 8 To make the béchamel sauce, put the butter in a medium saucepan set over medium heat. When the butter sizzles, stir in the flour and nutmeg and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and pour the milk into the pan, whisking constantly.

Return the pan to low heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and oil a baking dish with half the oil. Put the butter and the remaining oil in a skillet set over high heat and add the onion, garlic, and bay leaves.

Cook for 5 minutes until the onion has softened and turned translucent. Add the mushrooms, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are evenly cooked.

Add the stock and tomato paste/purée and increase the heat to high. Simmer rapidly until the liquid has reduced by half. Season well with salt and pepper.

5 ½ oz./150 g dark chocolate, finely chopped 4 tablespoons/50 g unsalted butter 5 large eggs, separated 1/3 cup/50 g confectioners’/icing sugar ¼ cup/50 g superfine/ caster sugar 6 tablespoon crème fraiche or heavy cream Serves 6 Put the chocolate in a microwave-proof bowl and microwave on high for 40 seconds.

Remove, stir and repeat until almost completely melted. Remove and stir in the butter. Set aside.

Put the egg whites and the confectioners’/ icing sugar in another bowl and beat until they hold firm peaks. Set aside.

Put the egg yolks and sugar in a third bowl and beat until slightly thickened and a paler yellow. Using a spatula, fold in the cream.

Stir in the chocolate mixture.

Add one-third of the beaten whites and mix until no streaks of white remain. Gently fold in the remaining whites, blending well but taking care not the overmix or you will deflate all the whites.

Transfer to individual serving dishes and refrigerate for 6 – 8 hours, or overnight.

Serve chilled.

Think of Nature People as Angels, and you will be closer than you realize to their actual persona.

ne of the reasons I started to write these books, with channeling by co-author Dr. Christian von Lähr, was because there existed only minimal knowledge of nature Spirits.

Unimaginably, very little of the information that did exist was of a positive kind this suggested an ignorance of their actual character. Further disturbing was the record showing that information written was remiss historically, and its pointedly anecdotal information was incongruent with the current real-world experiences we humans receive first-hand from the Nature People. Since they were already becoming part of the family, it made sense to go directly to the source the Nature People themselves and ask questions to allow them direct response as to what they would have the world know about them; in their own words, of course.

Our channeling sessions with them are presented inviolate. They are virtually unedited, as no modification are necessary. They reflect first-person accounts, too; fresh information that is revealed directly and this exposé is what makes their messages so astounding. As in their latest book, “The Magic of Gnomes and Leprechauns ... Its Natural” (July 2008), we include nearly all of our conversations with them so that you can get a runningflavor of what it is genuinely like to interact with Nature People. By hearing their fascinating wit, delightful humor and extraordinary intelligence you are most prepared for your own communication with the loquacious Gnomes and other Nature People that are around you right now. Their knowledge and style is at once curious as it reflects an obvious intelligence embedded in a child-like prose. Such is the wonder of these angelic people they await you with affectionate anticipation.

There are times when Nature People will do mystifying things. They do so, however, only to get your attention. It is never to harm, most certainly not, or to make your life difficult. A best example is when objects in your home go disappearing, only to reappear a few days to a week later in exactly the place you knew you left them. This is a typical instance of where Leprechauns are trying to get

Objects will stop vanishing and you will have the enchantment of Leprechauns with you thereafter, and always. Just remember, though, to include them as often as possible in your every-day-life, children are sad when they are overlooked. For play put beverages out for their Friday night celebrations, buy bright and shiny sewing materials for the wives, and set out too any number of curious presents you are inspired to gift them with. Leprechauns like to repair, so a worn-out leather belt, a shoe that needs mending, and broken bracelets and rings are projects for their workshops. Expect clovers to grow instantly.

We have found that there will be an association with the popping in and out of objects and the type of tasks Leprechauns would like to perform for you as viable members of the family. So, think about the object itself, and when you invite these Jinn into your life and family, announce the service they have chosen to perform as a contribution to one and all. Never again shall you worry about these requirements in life, they are taken care of.

Many people will have sensed Gnomes about them as these children of Nature quite typically play with one’s hair and earrings, or speak directly into the ears happy thoughts, of course, like, let’s stop over there and get a double-scoop of butternut ice cream. As with Leprechauns, Gnomes too seek your attention.

In fact, if you have a Leprechaun then you MUST have a great number of Gnomes, for Leprechauns are their protector, and one must be with every Gnome clan.

your attention. Leprechauns use this method to seek acceptance for being part of the family. They are merely demonstrating their [abilities] to manifest by making things happen in special ways; their end objective is that you will internally question [who] did this? Street lights turn green for you, there is no waiting for your luggage at the airport, and mechanical devices magically get fixed.

Leprechauns hold in great esteem the family unit. They would love to be part of a nice family. Take it as a compliment and appreciate your blessing when they demonstrate their desire to join your family by hiding and putting back your personal items, especially your car keys. They are showing you they can change the stress in life into moments of wonder.

During the final edit of “The Magic of Gnomes and Leprechauns,” (only our human parts, of course) this very same scenario was demonstrated. Once more we knew we had new Leprechauns around who wanted to be invited into the family. Here’s how the story goes: Christian put ever effort into finding something lost, a very old book in this case, and kept looking where he knew he had placed it. He could not find it for approximately three days when he finally gave in and pronounced, “We have Leprechauns!” Sure enough, right away and exactly where he was looking, his prized book on the Ancient Wisdom appeared. This is called “glamour” in old texts, he explains.

Having Leprechauns as part of your family is truly magical. The next time you sense this disappearing and reappearing act, say out loud or in your head “Leprechauns – you are welcome to join the family!”

These are magic words for entrance into the family.

Enlightened moods, cheerful music and happy times suddenly happen. THIS TOO is precisely what they will contribute joy and a reminder of the inner-child.

As a matter of fact, Gnomes are already part of the family, having been with you since birth and even in your past lives. They are hoping to recapture your awareness by tugging at your sleeves, ears and pant legs so that you can see them and enjoy their presence; especially the joy that only they can bring.

Of all the Nature People the Gnomes are the most communicative and outgoing; they are downright precocious children and are evidently so. They are very good natured, however, and will influence you to be fun-loving and good–natured too.

This is because you are in their energy, and some of that goodness is rubbing off on you. Listen, feel and otherwise sense what the Gnomes are saying, and you will find yourself constantly amused. They have a delightful take on things, which will have you laughing often as you begin to see the world through their big innocent eyes.

estiny, a predetermined course of life. Some people believe in it; some do not. Yet, belief can neither validate nor invalidate the concept of destiny or fate. Belief is just a thought, not a fact. However, mystics, saints and illumined minds throughout history corroborate the reality of destiny, of a predetermined existence. In essence, our lives are not happenstance. They are the design of a power so vast it is beyond the scope of human understanding. Following are a few quotations substantiating the reality of destiny. The first is from none other than the greatest scientist of the 20th Century, Dr. Albert Einstein.

Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper.

“Everything is determined!” Indeed, such a statement from such an extraordinary mind cannot be brushed aside with a simple pronouncement of disbelief. Einstein was certainly no light weight, and for a person of his caliber to proclaim “Everything is determined” should entice those with a discerning intellect to consider the truth of his sentient observation.

A nearly identical statement was made by 15th/16th Century saint, Guru Amardas: God Himself forces his creatures into destined paths of karmas over which they have no control and which cannot be effaced. Whatever is destined to take place must take place.

Notice that these two statements made five hundred years apart—one by an esteemed scientist and the other by a mystic, reflect the exact same phrase except for the pronouns “we” and “they.”

In speaking of destiny, Einstein’s words are, over which we have no control, and Guru Amardas’ phrase is over which they have no control. Obviously, they are referencing the fact that our lives are destined beyond our control and that God, not us, is in charge.

Einstein also realized a spiritual power exits in the universe.

Pythagoras lived approximately 500 BC. Regarded as the first pure mathematician, this Greek philosopher noticed a connection between numbers and life. He stated:

Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe, a spirit vastly superior to that of man and one in the face of which we, with our modest powers, must feel humble.

Here again is a statement that cannot be overlooked. As scientifically brilliant as Einstein was, he was also acutely aware of a universal power operating beyond the scope of human science.

Corroborating quotations regarding the reality of destiny are:

Numbers rule the universe. Everything is arranged according to number and mathematical shape.

Why numbers? Because numbers are labels for energy. Even though we think of numbers simply as arithmetic ciphers, they are far more than that. In fact, numbers comprise one of the most divine communication systems in creation. Since “numbers rule the universe,” as Pythagoras said, then they must rule everything in the universe including destiny.

Another esteemed scientist is Sir Isaac Newton, often considered the greatest scientist of all time. Newton said:

The very hairs of your head are all numbered (Bible).

What God writes on your forehead you will become (Koran).

A consistent soul believes in destiny, a capricious one in chance (Benjamin Disraeli).

God created everything by number, weight and measure.

He also stated: Whatever may befall thee, it was preordained for thee from everlasting

It is the perfection of God’s works that they are all done with the greatest

(Marcus Aurelius).

simplicity. He is the God of order and not of confusion.

What is also of note in this Newtonian quote is that he states that God’s works are “all done with the greatest simplicity.” He also affirms there is order to God’s universe.

Through these quotations we see the power of numbers. If one were to make an argument for numbers and their power, having these corroborating testimonies from Pythagoras and Newton would be most beneficial.

“Okay,” you ask, “so how do we decipher our destiny using our names and birthdates?” To understand this, let’s first consider the Periodic Table of Elements. As we remember from our early education, each of the 118 known elements is labeled by a letter and a number. For example, the element oxygen is known by the letter “O” and the number 8. Carbon is known by the letter “C” and the number 6; silver by the letters “AG” and the number 47; gold by the letters “AU” and the number 79. So it is with all the elements. They are categorized by letters and numbers. Obviously, letters and numbers create numerical codes which comprise the internal foundation of all the elements.

Consider, too, a common website. On the surface its pages are filled

If a man is destined to drown, he will drown even in a spoonful of water (Yiddish proverb).

There is no such thing as chance, and what seems to us merest accident springs from the deepest source of destiny (Johann Friedrich Von Schiller).

All men come into this world with a destiny of their own which goes on pushing them relentlessly on the course already marked out for them (Saint Charan Singh).

What destiny has planned for you will come to pass without any planning on your part. Your destiny will cause you to act and make effort according to its plan (Saint Jagat Singh).

Perhaps the most specific declaration of destiny comes from Saint Sawan Singh who states:

“

God did not drop us here without a plan, and that plan, as unbelievable as it may seem, is contained within our full birth names and birth dates.

”

with headers, images, colors, fonts, text boxes, menus, and often some audio or video selections. Yet, when reduced to its lowest common denominator, all websites are based on codes such as html and xhtml.

What appears externally is not what exists internally. In fact, all computers are based in numbers and codes of some type.

Likewise, our destiny can be compared to the 118 chemical elements of the periodic table or to a common website. What appears externally as our destiny (the events and circumstances of our life) is actually the manifestation of underlying numerical codes, codes comprised by letters and numbers—the letters of our full birth name (which are translated into numbers) and the numbers of our birth date (day-month-year). This may seem too simple to be true, but remember Newton’s statement, It is the perfection of God’s works that they are all done with the greatest simplicity. He is the God of order and not of confusion.

The total number of breaths which one is to take till death, the morsels which one is to eat and the steps which one is to walk are all preordained at birth and no one can alter, decrease or increase them.

These amazing statements proclaiming the reality of destiny and taught by such accomplished, substantive and elevated souls cannot be ignored. Would not closing our eyes to such remarkable testimony betray the depth and breadth of our own search of Truth?

Deciphering the Code of Destiny Perhaps one of the most amazing things about destiny is that it can be deciphered. In simple terms, we can know our destiny if we choose to know. God did not drop us here without a plan, and that plan, as unbelievable as it may seem, is contained within our full birth names and birth dates. To understand how this can be, let’s review some quotations 39

continued from page 39 >>and saints teach that the Truth lies within us, not outside of us. We will never discover higher realities of life by looking out. We must look In and ultimately go Within to find the truth of our being. In a similar fashion, we must look within our names and birth dates to find our destiny because they contain the underlying causal codes creating our destiny.

Our names and birthdates are not random. They have been created by higher powers and given to us through our parents. We do not have a certain destiny because we were born with a certain name and birth date, but rather we were born with a certain name and birth date because we have a certain destiny. And that destiny, as strange, unbelievable, fanciful, even perhaps ridiculous as it may seem, is coded in the letters and numbers of our natal (birth) data.

Decoding Numbers As we recall, numbers are codes (labels) for energies, energies which are described by certain attributes and characteristics. The nine basic numbers (1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9) each have their own attributes. These are known by keywords and key phrases. Following is a very simple and short list of the nine basic numbers and their characteristics. There are many words that can describe each number. The keywords in the following chart are only a few of the many keywords which exist for each number. As a note, all numbers have two sides, one positive; one negative, just as all coins have two sides and as each twenty-four hour revolution of our earth has a day and night—the manifestation of the bi-polar dimension in which we live.

To calculate the single Lifepath number, simply write down the day, month and year of birth, add left to right and reduce to a single digit. For example, the birthdate of 14 April 1985 would be decoded as: 14 + 4 (April) + 1985

Decoding the Birthdate Our birth date contains the code of our Lifepath—the actual path we follow in life. It can also be regarded as the script of our life or the energy world into which we were born. The Lifepath contains all the

The next step to decoding the 5 Lifepath is to simply associate the number 5 with its keywords. Thus, a person with a 5 Lifepath will be learning the lessons of change, detachment, freedom, loss, variety, etc.

Decoding the Name To decode names, we first replace each letter of the full birth name with its numerical equivalent using the Simple Letter Value Chart. The result is the Expression—the label given to the full birth name. The nine basic numbers and their letter equivalents are: 1 (A-J-S), 2 (B-K-T), 3 (C-L-U), 4 (D-M-V), 5 (E-N-W), 6 (F-O-X), 7 (G-P-Y), 8 (H-Q-Z), 9 (I-R).

For illustration purposes, we’ll use a very simple name, Mary Smith.

We place the number associated with each letter underneath it, add left to right and reduce to a single digit.

The final step is to associate the 9 with its keywords. Thus, we see that Mary has a universal energy to her. This will create an aura of charisma. People will feel comfortable around her and she will feel comfortable in any environment. She will also have an expanded view of life and exude a sense of power. The number 9 is very unique because when all the basic numbers 1 through 9 are added together, the result is a 9. This means that all numbers, i.e. all people, are contained in the 9, which is regarded in the King’s Numerologytm as the Grand Elemental. Too, when 9 is added to any number, the result is always the number to which it was added. For example, 9 + 5 = 14; 1 + 4 = 5 (the original number). 9 + 8 = 17; 1 + 7 = 8 (the original number). This gives the number 9 the additional quality of reflecting all numbers to themselves, or all people to themselves because people can be described by numbers.

Summary This brief article has only touched upon the basic process of deciphering the code of destiny. There is much more to understand, much more, creating a lifetime of study. However, if an individual desires to delve into the secrets of life and the superstructure of destiny, then it is a journey well worth the taking. Once a person travels far enough along this road of numbers, he or she will come to realize without a doubt that our lives are, indeed, destined, and there is a power ruling life so vast and incomprehensible that one can only bow in humble supplication and reverence because surely that power is divine. ~finis
