The Case

2021, Italy Director: Maurizio Forestieri Production: Graphilm, Rai Ragazzi Category: Short Film Synopsis In un tempo e luogo sconosciuti, un ragazzo scappa dalla guerra con un sogno e una custodia di violino. Lungo la strada incontra la bella Naila e altri viaggiatori. La musica nel suo cuore lo guiderà lungo il viaggio per trovare la sua strada dall’altra parte del confine e distruggere i pregiudizi.

In an unknown time and place, a young boy escapes war with nothing but a dream and a violin case. Along the way he meets the beautiful Naila and other travelers. He crosses deserts and seas during a long and dangerous trip. The music in his heart will guide him to find his path and destroy prejudice. Motivation

The Case is an exciting, engaging and powerful film in storytelling. The attention to details, the choice of colors and landscapes transports us to an unknown but familiar world. The protagonist and his friends symbolically embody all the children who are victims of war, forced to flee their homes and loved ones. At the end of the long and adventurous journey, the keys to begin a new life will be found: solidarity, friendship, compassion, music, art, beauty. Hope transcends reality.

La Custodia è un film emozionante, coinvolgente e potente nella narrazione. La cura dei dettagli, la scelta dei colori e dei paesaggi ci trasporta in un mondo sconosciuto ma familiare. Il protagonista e i suoi amici incarnano simbolicamente tutti i bambini vittime della guerra, costretti a fuggire dalle loro case e dai loro cari. Al termine del lungo e avventuroso viaggio si troveranno le chiavi per iniziare una nuova vita: solidarietà, amicizia, compassione, musica, arte, bellezza. La speranza trascende la realtà.
