Global Education & Initiatives
FROM LEARNERS TO LEADERS.
INTERNATIONAL DIPLOMA Upper School students who have a passion for, or a curiosity about, global issues, world languages, and travel are encouraged to seek an International Diploma. Students earn the International Diploma by completing academic and extracurricular requirements combined with a holistic international educational experience. A Ravenscroft International Diploma demonstrates: — extensive participation in academics — a mastery of other world regions, cultures, and languages — a focus on solving new national and global issues — an ongoing commitment to the increased need of diversity in our nation’s classrooms, workplaces, and communities The International Diploma is a distinction for students with exemplary global awareness as intellectually and culturally informed citizen leaders, capable of meeting demands of an internationally competent workforce.
Lead From Here. Across the Globe. The world is changing exponentially. How do you prepare a child for a future where national boundaries, cultures, and economies are increasingly interdependent? We are committed to nurturing and preparing future citizen leaders to thrive and become positive contributors to society in a complex and interdependent world. Our Global Initiatives are the springboard that provides students with culture, curriculum, special events, and global experience opportunities. We challenge, expand, and shape students’ views on shared academic, cultural, and civic values that span international boundaries.
At Ravenscroft, we combine academic excellence with leadership learning to prepare our students to be citizen leaders in a diverse and culturally inclusive world. Our global experiences challenge, expand, and shape student’s views in ways that span international boundaries unlike any other.
Ravenscroft is a member of the Global Education Benchmark Group focused on promoting the development of global citizens in independent schools. Through this valuable partnership Ravenscroft has access to additional services and resources while travelers are abroad.
