TOWNSITE HOUSING OFFICE T
he Bagdad Community Campus is home to the Fitness Center, Aquatic Center, Skate Park, Bagdad Public Library, Copper Kids Day Care, Physical Therapy office, Bagdad Museum, the gym, CrossFit facility, conference rooms, WVB Fire Department Training room and the Townsite Housing office.
The Townsite Housing office can provide general information about the town and its amenities. The office oversees housing applications, lease agreements, housing transfers and upgrades, and guest housing, as well as the Copper Sheet Motel, local Conoco gas station, Mesa View Golf Course and the Community Campus.

The gym hosts many activities, such as basketball, volleyball and wrestling as well as open gym hours. For more information and/ or to utilize the gym, please call the Fitness Center at (928) 633-3256.
Conference rooms at the Community Campus are available for rent by the community seven days a week, with prior arrangement/approval. There is no rental fee but credit card information is required to cover any damage or out-of-the-ordinary cleaning. Call the Townsite office for more information and to make reservations. JUMP IN! The Bagdad Aquatic Center is free and open to the public and has something for everyone, from indoor and outdoor pools, to a wading pool and a water slide, to lap lanes. The center is located at the lower Community Campus.

FITNESS The Bagdad Fitness Center is free and open to the public. For health and safety reasons, no one under the age of 14 is permitted in the Fitness Center. The facility has weight machines, ellipticals, treadmills, stair climbers, stationary bikes, free weights, aerobics and boxing room. Videos and additional equipment are available for check out at the desk.

BRIDLE CREEK RIPARIAN HABITAT B
ridle Creek is a 31-acre fenced riparian habitat located behind the Community Campus at the base of Sanders Mesa. The area primarily is composed of cottonwood and willow trees surrounding desert landscaping. There is a collection of birds and other wildlife in the vicinity. There are two different parking lots and three different entrances into the creek. isitors are invited to come see the Bagdad mine overlook. There are no age restrictions or special clothing requirements. Come enjoy this unique view of the mine. Mine personnel will escort visitors to the overlook (visitors will drive their own vehicles on a well-maintained dirt road). Bruce Mine Road: This road turns into a dirt road that goes past the Kellis Ranch and is a local favorite for walking, jogging and driving off-road vehicles.

“B” MOUNTAIN Description: This is a short, steep and rocky trail with fantastic views of Bagdad, the mine and the surrounding mountains. Use: Hiking only. Distance: 1.2 miles Type: Out and back Trailhead: lat/lng (34.57868, -113.18383) The trail is accessed at the corner of Mesa Drive and Randall in Bagdad. As you enter Bagdad on Main Street, turn right on Fletcher, then left on Randall. At the corner of Randall and Mesa is a dirt road to the left that travels 150 yards to a locked gate. Cars may park on the side of the dirt road before the gate. Route: The two-track road begins at a locked gate, which must be scaled to access the trail. The trail climbs gently for 200 yards, makes a hard right and climbs steeply for 0.4 miles. It then levels off providing views of Bagdad. The trail ends at an opening in the fence that continues toward the airport, which is closed to the public. Total Elevation Gain: 279 feet
