Combi-Dressed

A part of environmental problems in the society is from fashion industry, since it changed itself from releasing 2 collections — spring/summer and fall/winter — to more than 100 weekly collections per year to respond and attend customers’ trends and needs. This is called ‘fast fashion’ that focused on the speed of producing and low cost of asset to produce a big number of product in the less time. The growing of fast fashion results in the increasing of rubbish in environment as well.

From this problem, I would like to present reuse clothes as ‘eco fashion’ in the form of fashion photography. This kind of fashion is produced without disturbing the environment, vegan, ethnically produce, craft/artisan, fair trade certified, organic and/or recycled, and vintage/second hand. I brought second hand t-shirts, shirts, and jackets for Morefiend to transform into a piece of clothes by categorizing them from the origin continents of each cloth; North America, Asia, and Europe.

I would like to show the change of consuming started by myself. I want to be a part of motivation to buy and redesign the clothes you own into more interesting one, and to realize the from of producing than to attend customers’ needs, resulting in decreasing of fashion rubbish in the environment.

ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมส่วนหนึ่งเกิดจากอุตสาหกรรมแฟชั่น แต่เดิมธุรกิจแฟชั่นเคยมีการผลิตเสื้อผ้าตามฤดูกาล แค่เพียงปีละ 2 ครั้ง (คอลเล็กชั่นฤดูใบไม้ ผลิ/ฤดูร้อนและคอลเลกชั่นฤดูใบไม้ร่วง/ฤดูหนาว) ก็กลายเป็นคอลเล็กชั่นเสื้อผ้าที่ตอบสนองเทรนด์แบบสัปดาห์ต่อสัปดาห์จนเป็นผลให้เกิดคอลเล็กชั่น สินค้ามากมายกว่า 100 คอลเลกชั่นต่อปีเพื่อตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของลูกค้าอุตสาหกรรมแฟชั่นแบบที่ชื่อว่า “Fast Fashion ”เน้นกระบวนการ ผลิตที่เร็วที่สุดและในราคาต้นทุนที่ต�่ำสุดเพื่อการจ�ำหน่ายในปริมาณมาก ฟาสต์แฟชั่นที่ก�ำลังเติบโตมากขึ้นส่งผลให้ปริมาณขยะเพิ่มขึ้น

ด้วยปัญหาดังกล่าวจึงอยากน�ำเสนอด้วยการถ่ายแฟชั่นในรูปแบบเสื้อผ้าที่น�ำมา Reuse ซึ่งอยู่ในหมวดหมู่ของของ “Eco Fashion”หมายถึงสินค้า แฟชั่นที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นโดยมีกระบวนการที่ไม่รบกวนต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม, ไม่ท�ำร้ายสัตว์ (Vegan), ผลิตอย่างมีจริยธรรม (Ethically Produce), เป็นงานฝีมือ (Craft/Artisan), ได้รับการรับรองด้านการค้าโดยชอบธรรม (Fair Trade Certified), วัตถุดิบจากธรรมชาติ (Organic), วัสดุรีไซเคิล (Recycled), ของ วินเทจหรือของมือสอง (Vintage/Second Hand) โดยจะน�ำเสื้อยืด เสื้อเชิ้ต เสื้อแจ็คเก็ตเหล่านี้ที่เป็นเสื้อผ้ามือสองหลายๆ ตัวมาตัดเย็บให้กลายเป็น ชุดเดียวโดยแยกชุดจากประเภทแหล่งที่มา America, Asia, Europe ให้กับทางแบรนด์ “Morefiend” เป็นคนตัดเย็บชุดทั้งหมด

อยากแสดงถึงการเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมของการบริโภคที่เริ่มจากตนเอง สร้างการเลือกซื้อเสื้อผ้ามือสองให้มีดีไซน์ใหม่ที่น่าสนใจและสวมใส่เสื้อผ้าให้ยาว นานขึ้น ตระหนักถึงรูปแบบการผลิตสินค้าแฟชั่นที่ผลิตมากกว่าที่ผู้บริโภคต้องการ เราก็สามารถช่วยกันลดปริมาณขยะแฟชั่นที่เหลือทิ้งในระบบได้
