Dairy Technology (Eden) students Sita Musa and Chloe White
Two UCR students celebrated success in the prestigious Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) Awards 2021.
Cheeses produced by Level 5 apprentice dairy technologists on our degree level Eden programme won gold and silver awards at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards, proving they are capable of manufacturing cheeses which are among the best in the world!
Hannah Morten (pictured), who has now completed her Foundation Degree in Agriculture with Dairy Herd Management, was runner-up in the RABDF Farm Health Management Award (University Category), while fellow undergraduate Ben Broughton was one of seven finalists in the RABDF Dairy Student of the Year.
All apprentices in the cohort acted as stewards for top judges, networked with senior industry professionals and tasted seriously good cheese!
