Level 3 Extended Diploma in Events Management 2021 School: Ellesmere College Next step: Industry experience Ambition: Night club owner “My parents run their own businesses and I want to be my own boss too, and earn my own success.

“Ideally I’d like to own a chain of night clubs, but I’d also like to set up a residential centre for special needs children. My work placement was at the Wingate Centre, so I’ve learned first-hand how a special needs business operates, and I also helped with marketing a fund raising event. You learn better through experience rather than just reading about a subject.

“My course is setting me up for what I want to do in life. I like the style of learning because it’s module based and the lecturers are amazing, they’ve helped me to succeed. The social and sporting scene is great too.”
